- It’s no secret that EOTECH’s holographic weapon sights (HWS) are one of our favorite optics. We have been using them for years. The large field of view, clear glass, and numerous brightness settings make them a high performer in a wide array of scenarios. The M33 is a contract version of the G33 Magnifier that we’ve all come to know and love. The M33 brings everything the G33 does but adds capped azimuth turrets, so no matter how much you beat your magnifier around, the sight picture will not adjust, which can be a pain point for some G33 owners. The M33 also features coyote anodizing and an identification plate. Unfortunately, since the M33 magnifier is a contract overrun, it won’t be around forever,

These are pricey but once you add an aftermarket turret guard it’s not that much of a price difference. These are fricking cool. Glad I was able to get one before they sold out. 🦖
How much were they?
Why doesn’t eotech just offer this for sale as a regular item? Or phase out the g33 to make this as the standard?
people have different weapon set ups and they do offer it separately.

I have a regular G33 magnifier and never even knew these existed until today, because I was looking around online to see if the newer model Eotech G45 and G43 have this same issue.
One thing I did was take 2.5mmx15mm rubber O-rings and slip them onto the exposed elevation and windage turrets on my G33 and they tuck in nicely underneath them. You can still move them, but they just won’t rotate on you as easily.
I think it’s incredibly stupid that Eotech never made those capped turrets a standard thing for all their magnifiers. I mean the whole point of these things is manually flipping them side to side or FTC, but either way you’re gripping or pushing on them, so it’s sorta inevitable that they get brushed up on something and one thing that truly shocked me with my G33 was just how easily you can adjust the windage and elevation. Like you barely have to touch the dang turret and it moves.
Had I known these existed several years ago when I bought my Eotech HHS-II combo set, I would’ve just got the EXPS and one of these M33s separately just for the capped turrets alone.

I jsut got a G33 with a Uh-1 holographic sight and the reticle becomes incredibly blurry like no crisp lines at all, the Diopter doesn't seem to work 😞
Just wrap camoform once you've centered it.

No. You need a magnifier mount that would raise it. Scalarworks makes some good mounts that can do it and Unity makes some really good mounts
Question: do they make them with the QD mount that flips left instead of right?
The qd levers can be reversed to be used either side. This is for the normal magnifiers from eotech too

@@zack9912000no. They do not offer the capped version. It's only paired with the exps. The G33 is available seperate the M33 is not.

If you have iron sights on your rifle, the Eotech g33 or m33 is the way to go. Stay away from the g43.

More irritating when the company falsely advertises 25% off for one of these just to get in orders, then tells everyone they meant 15% and won’t honor what they advertised.

Actually they are honoring it for those that put an order in before they sent an email out notifying everyone of the situation. I got a rebate for it.
@@GryphonTurian1no they are not, they offered a refund if you ordered and wanted to return the combo because they weren’t honoring the 25% off, per the email they sent everyone on the 22.
@michaelp6479 They honored mine for that discount. It was an honest mistake, yea, i was annoyed, but I am not so poor that 10% difference was that big of a deal. A 54 dollar difference isnt the end of the world people. Gees most of you blow that on COD every year
