Devon Allman open the concert for his father Greg in Atlanta at the Tabernacle I saw them and they are one hell of a band people get off their backs all the brothers are good
If I comment on a band it is only when I feel positive about it. This is better than his dad's (RIP) version. He has the perfect tone and pitch for it. Bobby's guitar playing is perfect. Really complements the sound. Erica Blinn is great on the harp. Her body moves and her playing are magnificently " in sync". She owns it. Love their version of "Stop Draggin My Heart Around".
His tour schedule would be on his website....put in Devon Allman Band . He isn't touring at the moment because he is touring with the band the Royal Southern Brotherhood. I have lots and lots and lots of video of the Royal Southern Brotherhood!! You can find their schedule on their the Royal Southern Brotherhood website. BTW...Devon is Gregg Allman's son.
Never heard of Devon. Recordings aren't that great on You Tube....But HA!!! He's playing in town on December 18th at the local Harley store....I'll be there to check him out.
BluesBroad I agree the videos are good for a fan recording...My computer doesn't sound all that great for any you tube recording. I appreciate your time for putting it on and giving me a chance to be introduced to Devon. No dis intended.
I'd love to see Michael, Devon and Gregg Allman on the same stage. I doubt if it will ever happen, but a girl can dream. I think Michael Allman sounds more like his Dad and Devon looks like him. JMHO
He/they should not get undue praise because of Devon's last name? NO more than they should get unfair criticism. Are they as good as the original ABB? Of course not. but are surely talented. Shit load better than me. I would go see them in a skinny minute.
i walk a razor thin line to see such a genuine talent. i love all the roots and evolutions of ABB, won't even rate 'em like some damn contst, just love 'em for their ways, lov the way they play typing on 2 laptops as i wander so forgive my spellwreck... & thank you for saying just was i was feeling
Lynn Beasley just for fun,, shhh, the critics and cynics are hunting me, yet they are my prey... been awake a few days, so I take no measure of this mess of verse, just was for fun, unrehearsed... have a laugh, and thank you for Hallejuah! haha Amen dear one! Dynamite To Light Your Candles Awake, aware and home at last! 3 days up and blasting past. Out my cage and break my chains. Give the sages my remains. Can’t stop yet, and got to move it, coming slow, you know you love it… Every next day I stay awake, close the distance I must make. I’m here alone so send the drones… call me on long distance saxophone. Says sleep is urgent now I must be ready, Nah, says I, I’m rockin’ steady… 4 days up, eyes glazed and red. Typhoon winds of fear and dread, Blows so fast, this laughter in my head. Tie me to the mast, or we’re all dead! 5 days awake and blasting past; Got no worries, move me fast! Out my cage and break my chains. Give the sages my remains. Can’t stop me yet, gotta move it; coming slow and gotta love it. Got no treason, got no reason; just a longshot of the season. Rebelle jusqu a’ la fin!!! Hmmm, all this fun now hug your kittens. Be back soon with oven mittens; I’m sizzlin’ hot and hard to handle. To play cover it's not a big news. There is probably 1000 other band who plays this song 1000 times better. The sad thing is that this guy just becouse his is son of Greg Allman gets automatically atention. In all honour to real Allman Brothers band and their songs from Filmore Est. But this is really bad, sounds nothing.
Now that gay marriage has been legalized all over the place, I guess it can be acknowledged that Duane and Greg really were not brothers -- they were longtime companions!
I appreciate how you are keeping the Allman Brothers songs and spirit alive!
Being an ABB fan. I like the way Devon plays with his own style.
Love! Great job on this song!

Excellent video, thanks ms. bluesbroad!!! Pretty good audio on it as well. Keep up the good work.

Nice lead work Devon, uncle Duane'd be proud.
Excellent job...
Rockin'!!

a creditable version of this song, and Erica is easy on the eyes.
Remarkable!!
Damn!!! WoW
Pure Blood Line...

Fantastic.
He's got Duane's looks and Gregg's voice.
you are fu$@%ng joking
Ronel Crooks Just my take. Looks like you don't agree.
alex hidell Not even close to Gregg's voice.
pac401 Each to his own, I suppose. We seem to see ( or in this case hear) it differently.
You are wrong! Most not have talent yourself!
Is that the bass player from Dickey's band Great Southern?
Yes, Pedro Arevalo
Cause there's a man down there, might be your man I don't know
He s good.......chip off the ole block....RIP Greg.
Hes so much like Duanes its incredible!
Jesus, He looks just like Duane. Helluva player and he's only gonna get better as time goes on...great news for Blues/Rock ~
I’m old school, if you don’t have anything good to say, don’t say nothing. I got nothing.
Just as good as his dad
Where the fook is Sellersville PA?
Bucks County, about 35 miles noth of Philly.

why would you even suggest comparing him to the ABB
DEC 7 SYLVANIA Ga North of Savannah w MARSHALL TUCKER BAND - DANA FUCHS BAND & BLOODKIN .,,,
He looks a lot like his uncle Duane Allman.. I'm sorry but I'm too impressed with this version. It Just don't flip my skirt up over my head at all !
Geil
Seriously, Sonny Boy Williamson (Rice Miller) wrote this as a comic song. The Allmans messed up by playing it as a screamin' n' crying' blues
he's a Allman fo sho
She needs to put some cymbals between her knees.
+Kathy Schildroth "Say, man, show me that crazy little walk you just did there. Slow it down some."
anthonyspare I think it's called the Funky Chicken...
Erica has onstage moves very similar to those shown by the ABB original bassman Berry Oakley.
That girl blows the rest of em outa the water
no review
The harp player repeats the same four notes over and over..........
He looks like his uncle.
Devon looks like and has some of the same facial expressions as Duane...
get rid of the juice harp! drives ya NUTS!
Had me until the harp solo
This really makes me miss Duane. A famous name isn't everything. The music's competent, but doesn't have any fire.
The "harmonica player" is just playing the same 3 notes over and over again. I wish I was a girl so I could get praise from mediocrity.
Cody Walker Jr. lol yeah but she is freakin hot
Erica has more talent than most of the hacks you call musicans!!
Cody the Barber I agree 100%, bad, VERY BAD!

knowing all the lyrics would help too.... very disappointing.. a mediocre garage band.....
You don't know what the "F" you're talking about. Attention is spelled with 2 t's jackass
You should go to one of his concerts and it may change your opinion. All of Gregg's sons are very talented.
no magic..not road tested cover band
Now that gay marriage has been legalized all over the place, I guess it can be acknowledged that Duane and Greg really were not brothers -- they were longtime companions!
Yeah, ok....
That is some crappy harp blowing...maybe she's better at blowing other things!
Any idea where I can find a tour schedule for this band? Do they have a website I can subscribe to? Thanks BluesBroad for the amazing music/videos!
