The demo version of the Oasis song "Where Did It All Go Wrong?" from the album "Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants". This version was never officially released but was leaked prior to the release of the album and featured on the bootleg "Standing In The Studio With Noel" which contained 15 tracks of demos from the SOTSOG sessions.

Oasis is one of the few (only?) bands I know of where their bsides are better than other bands a sides!!!!
A lot of people whine about Noel stealing riffs/lyrics from others - like Zeppelin and Beatles didn't! - but the overall sound of Oasis was NOT like the Beatles. This song is pure Oasis - sounds like no one else.

oasis did totally rip off songs sure like dont go away thats a direct ripoff, but what makes it different is it's oasis. It sounds NOTHING like the original song because that's the beauty of Noel Gallaghers song writing. Seeing him live tomorrow I'm already pissing myself
I prefer this version too. Although the album version is good this version just seems to have kept it simpler and it sounds better for it.
Yes, no screaming pipe organs here. I specially love how, from the solo to he final chorus, that anguished high pitch guitar lingers on.

If you wonder why this sounds incredible it’s definitely the mix. The bass is grooving more as if Noel played it himself. Acoustic up front more. The keys are droning and of course the video placed with this song. Nice homage to the album cover! 😃

I love hearing where this song actually came from & started as. Picking a favorite version is like picking a favorite child. All are so unique in their own way. Sounded incredible when I heard it live in Minneapolis! Only he called it, where did it all go fucking wrong! 🤘

its not bad but the version he should of put on the album should of been the version he play on oasis's 'later on jools holland' which was just acoustic,piano and gem on elec guitar. Beautiful.

The album version has been my favourite oasis song for as long as i can remember and im not sure why it but even though this is good it has nothing on the final version in my opinion. I can see why people like this too i love it also, i mean its a fkn choon

Familiar to Millions.
I always felt Noel made some of the best musical decisions and some of the his most poor decisions during this era of oasis. For example the mix of Gas Panic on the album is superior to the demo for sure, but it’s quite the opposite for this song. The demo feels superior to the album mix. Also he left out so many excellent b sides out of the album, some of his best material in my opinion, and added some of his most mediocre material instead. SOTSOG had such potential to be their best album with a few changes in my opinion
