    Great video, my Dad scooted out the woman from the hearing center who made a visit to sort these problems and said he’d take his business elsewhere… neither of them were happy.
    After some investigation my success to change to potentially change his world was a result of this video so thank you very much.
    The laser line was plugged into the digital box instead of the TV and the RCA plug were in use as well so by getting rid of the RCA cables and simply connecting the laser out from the TV to the laser in on the Adapter 3.0 it all came together with the new app which I had to download tonight as that the old one was disabled.
    I can now tell him to call the woman up at the hearing center to tell her the system is fully functioning and apologize for being a grumpy old man.

    Thank you so much for this video. It would have saved me some time if I would have watched this first. Finding the port for the TOSLINK cable and learning that I just had to open the Oticon app to turn the sound on and verify pairing helped me finish the set up. Watching movies with younger family members will be so much more enjoyable now. We can turn off the subtitles more often and have the sound at a more comfortable level now!

    Thank you so much for this video Dr Altus. I need to set one of these up for a family member that also streams phone calls through their iPhone and has the Oticon app. I realize that you have to switch to the TV program to listen to (stream TV audio) but if a call comes in on the iPhone do you have to switch back to P1 first to make the connection? Thanks & best regards.

    Your instructions are clear. What do two blinking blue lights mean? It doesn't connect to my Oticon More 1 aids.

    Great video however My wife has a set of hearing aids that use the Oslink cable and there seems to be only one connection function in the back of the TV. There are what appears to be two other links for the Oslink but when I attempt to plug into those connections. I can't? Whats is a solution to that issue?

    I’m just now seeing this video for the first time. I’m a musician and I need sound streamed directly to my hearing aids. Will the Oticon Adapter 3.0 work with a sound mixer in a live music performance setting?

    How do you get the sound to come out of both the TV adaptor and the TV speakers on a Sony Bravia TV? We have two adaptors and two TVs - the other is a Samsung and it works fine but with the Sony you have to change the Audio output and the sound then only comes out of the hearing aids

    I’m connecting my hearing aids using the TOS link. When I pair my hearing aids the lights blink blue and then stop blinking indicating my hearing aids are paired. But the TV adapter lights go off and only the power indicator light stays on.

    We are connected to the Toslink. The power button is green and the other is blue stating the toslink is streaming. My husband is switching to the correct program but he still can't hear the TV?? Also our TV is connected to a receiver for speakers. Should we connect to Toslink on the TV or the Receiver?

    Thank you for a helpful video. My issue is how to plug adapter into back of 2013 Samsung TV? There are two plugs for "Audio", but they do not say if they are input or output. When I plug into those, II can get the Adapter to go to the two blue lights when laying the hearing aid on it, but then it goes back to the red light. I can't get the adapter to show the green lights letting me know that it is streaming with the TV. I don't have the app. Sure would appreciate your help!

    Thank you for the great video. But what do you do if they were all set up and working fine for several weeks, but one day there is no sound? Could it be because my husband turned off the TV and not the TV program on his hearing aids first? Is it important to do that before turning off the TV?

    • @appliedhearingsolutionspho172
      @appliedhearingsolutionspho172  2 года назад +2

      Good question, no you don't have to worry about turning off the tv program or TV in any specific order. I would re-pair your hearing aids to your TV adaptor by essentially unplugging everything and following the step by step instructions in the set up video

    • @amerifax
      @amerifax 2 года назад +1

      @@appliedhearingsolutionspho172I'm probably the least qualified to have an answer. But as I mentioned in the topic, Robert Snow, I would disconnect the optical cable from your TV adapter and see if you have a blue light at the end of your open cable. That would tell me that the settings were not changed on a TV, possibly.

    Watched your You tube but didn’t help my problem. I have Oticon 3.0. It is hooked up properly and paired. The problem I am having is when I go to stream to watch a program I can only hear thru the left hearing aid and only 2 minutes and it goes off. Thinking I may possibly need to be doing something different with my hearing aides. Always worked before. Just bought a new TV. Thought maybe I muted something but why stream just 2 minutes and go off. Need your help please.

      @@lindaratliff6124 HI Linda, Sometimes there is a problem if you are paired to multiple devices at the same time such as a phone and an I pad. This can sometimes confuse the software and it tries to listen to two or more devices at the same time. Un pair from everything except the TV and see if that helps. If not get your audiologist to do a home visit during office hours so the can call Oticon tech support from your home if they can not fix the problem. I am an Audi and this is what I do.

      I have no answer since I only have a right ear Oticon More, sorry. But I would like to know the manufacturer and model of your TV. I'm doing research on what dB will work. I have a topic here, Robert Snow, that might show you what I'm trying to do.

    What's missing from this video? Yea, that's right: The fact that the TVAdapter costs $180. Four TVs/audio devices = 4 x $180 = I'll let you do the math. Is AHS going to do a video on a aftermarket V5.0 Bluetooth devices that don't cost $180 and will work with the Oticons, either direct to the hearing aids (preferred) or through the ConnectClip? $180 per device seems a bit much for something as simple as a Bluetooth adapter - which are typically $25-$40 on Amazon.
    I await AHS' answer. Thanks,
