Finally got a good fit with the left side, just ordered some new lock replacements and now it's locked in. Thank you!
Thank you so much for your clear directions. Now I know what I am doing. Like another poster this wasn't included in the maintenance instructions.
Thanks for this help. I was really struggling
Thank you for sharing this information. I have Phonax hearing aids, and the proper cleaning and insertion of the retention tails were never covered by the nurse at the clinic where I received my aids. I will look into your other videos regarding my brand. I have subscribed to your channel.
Thank You, I finally found a simple and direct explanation of putting on the anchors. Robert
Thanks. Have wondered how to check if I had put them back on properly. Now I know.
Thanks so much, very helpful.
Thank you very much! I had my Philips hearing aids cleaned but they didn’t fit when they were returned to me. Thank you for saving me a long return trip!
Thank you, thank you. I am a new user. My aids went out to be serviced and when returned the wire sticks straight out. Now I can check to see what if they are installed correctly!
Thank you !!!
Thanks!@
Are these cables the same on Oticon behind the ear HAs?
Are retention locks brand specific? I have Starkeys but can't find them anywhere, but I do see other brands.
Does anyone know where I can find the retention tail for Oticon Power 100??? Can’t find!
Great except your retention filaments are too small for my Costco hearing aids. Hearing aids are delicate and very expensive devices and even with a magnifying glass and small pliers I couldn’t make the Phonak retainer filament slip over the tip of the heating aid - the part with the numbers. How stupid of me to think that a Phonak filament- though it looks exactly like my old Costco filaments-,would fit my hearing aids. Now I can go online and spend a few hours trying to match my Costco brand with a few dozen other filament brands like yours- but not really like yours.. Thanks a million.
Huh...both of mine were put on differently by the clinic person...but when I put them on the way you show, one side digs into the skin...had to change it back.
I believe there are left and right side retention wires or concha locks as my HA professional calls them. And I have seen them use 2 of the same side in a pinch when the other side is out of stock. Hence the odd configuration.
100% annoying
