Thank you very much for watching my video!
This series is going along at a good pace 4 issues in! There going to be a lot of ups and downs between now and issue 12! Would love to see a B&W compilation of the whole thing sometime! From time to time I like seeing a flashback of early Batman and Robin! Batman and Superman/Worlds Finest and Teen Titans/Worlds Finest both provide entry level for modern audiences!🤞From my experience over the years, it’s neat to revisit different characters beginnings and add a little relevancy to the 80+years legendary heroes! Great review,Gray! 🎯👍👋
I feel like it's getting better and better as it goes on. I'd forgotten it was 12 issues. I hope they can keep it as good as this issue for the rest of the series!
Completely agree with all you said Gray, has a CHANCE at becoming a modern classic, so so good. The art work is stunning. I think it’s the best bat book full stop
Glad to hear you rate it highly, too. It's between this and Dark Patterns for me, but I think this is edging it now. Especially for those looking for a great Batman & Robin story.
@ PKJ is killing it too on Batman and Robin (need to sort these names out!!) I am enjoying Dark Patterns too, really happily surprised by the art work as well
I like that Dick saved Bruce’s life from getting drowned in the ocean (resulting in Bruce to thank Dick for saving his life) before he dealt what the Grimaldi. I find it hilarious that they and Alfred had to convince Laura Lyn that Bruce is doing his best at raising Dick by making her believe that Dick just woke up so that they can maintain their secret identities. Also, since this comic is set in the first week of September, I assume that it’s set in September 1954, since Dick witness his parents’ deaths by Tony Zucco in July 1954 before he made his debut in August 1954. Overall, this comic is good.
Yes there are so many good moments in this issue. I'm trying to get people excited about comics again, so I focus on reviewing comics I really enjoy. This issue is excellent in my opinion, probably the best issue yet. Thanks Joshua
