They really are beautiful lighters.
I have a 912S in polished brass and a 912 in brushed chrome. They are extremely well constructed and weigh a ton. And were it not for the historical value, they'd simply blow Zippos out of the water.
Yes, they definitely would. They are are some very well designed lighters. I'm loving the 912 brass one I've been using.
The hk is for the hong kong trade registration. The only one of these I don’t have is the solid copper.i have a chrome one that I’m saving to customize for myself. Since it’s larger I’ll get more detail on it than on zippo. I’m using the one I silver plated and I’m using it with no rubber seal around the lid. I took the gasket out to plate it. Never put it back lol. The lighter is machined so good that the rubber o ring on the lid isn’t even necessary. Lasted me 19 days and it was still lighting , I put fluid in it cause I had the insert out anyways.
Thank you for letting me know what the HK stands for. The solid copper one is really sweet. Especially with having an actual copper insert as well. The titanium one I ordered made it to Chicago and cleared customs, so hopefully, I'll get that one before the new year. Any word on the strike with the Canada postal service? USPS will not let us ship anything to Canada currently...

I just got done looking at copper armors because of this comment ZF. I didn't see an official Zorro, but the ones I saw were CHONKERS, and I couldn't help thinking "I want to see what my copper steampunk insert would look like in there".

Thanks for the video, I have the brass and silver 912 w/ logo, I'm waiting on the polished black. They have quite a few 912 brass designs that are tempting too. Looking forward to one of you guys reviewing that second generation insert from Zorro.
Pretty sweet that you have the chrome one and are getting the black ice chrome Zorro 912 lighter. I've been thinking about getting the black ice one. That’s fast shipping. The stuff I ordered from them says estimated delivery is February 15th. They are nice looking lighters.
These were estimated for delivery for sometime in January 2025. So far, I've gotten every order faster than estimated. The best tracking site for stuff from China, that I've found, is www.ship24.com
Just need the tracking number off of Aliexpress.
