“I dropped $70k on a Raptor, and it sucked”- this is the most prolific quote I’ve heard as someone that was considering buying a raptor. Sick video, dude. Looking forward to seeing more.
Can’t say enough good things about the Falcon Shocks. I have them on my JK Wrangler. Most expensive thing(s) I put on my Jeep until I bought tires. Worth every penny. I hope to get some for my truck.

@@KidRichmond They are looking for a limited for me but you have me questioning if I really need ventilated seats because legit I would copy your build

This is a really well made video!! Are you planning on doing more videos on your RAM? I just got mine a week ago (Black on Black) Also you 1 of 3 peeps in Utah who's not Mormon I'm guessing LoL
😂😂😂 keeping the coffee industry alive and well in Utah. Almost went black on black with the limited but then I got into a Rebel. You made an excellent choice.
Hey question about your long term review on your shock set up with your truck. Did you use your OEM upper control arm and ball joint? And if so have you had any issues long term by using the stock ram oem UCA
I just stumbled on your channel. Right away I thought "Oh ok some professional youtuber talking about his nice trucks" Then I saw your views only at 4K. I was in utter shock. I was expecting this to be another one of those 1M plus views vids - based on your content. You'll get there man, easily. Just subbed. Glad I found ya. Back on topic, so the Rebel is far superior over the Raptor?
😂maybe that’s my problem, my quality looks too good. Thanks for the praise. Yes with the right shock choice you can easily smoke the raptor. I’m currently doing a short write up about why the Raptor sucks and it just pisses me off more and more that I even bother to own one. I had an awesome supercharged tundra that I built for offroad and use to have raptor fanboys try to race me on road or offroad or say how superior their truck is just because it’s got a cool sounding name. I got sucked in, bought one and it was such a waste of 70k and a bigger waste cause I sunk another 25k into mods for it.
So you seem pretty jazzed about the Falcon shocks for off-road use, what about in you’re daily around town and highway driving? Is it better or the same as stock for those cases?
All around falcon builds a great shock. You will have one trade off on the street which is small bump compliance. As shocks get tuned to handle larger hits Offroad, they become stiffer on road. This provides some benefits though as you’ll see a decrease in body and improved high speed cornering. Since Falcon uses a digressive valve you’ll have a softer street ride when compared to other offroad brands like fox or icon which use a linear shin stack.
Truck is leveled with via Falcon shocks. Offset is +1 18x9 Fuel Zephyrs with Goodyear Duratracs 275/70/18 and they’ve never rubbed anywhere even at full tuck and full lock out with high articulation.
Kid Richmond Awesome thanks man I appreciate the response. Found out my 2020 ecodiesel was going through paint 2 days ago so starting to plan my build. Judging by your video your extremely happy with the Falcon shocks over the Bilstein
workplaytv ooooh time to start getting excited! Sounds like it’ll be shipping out soon. Yes I’m definitely happy with the shocks this far. I’ve also done quite a bit of hauling and towing and I thought their tow/ haul modes would be decent but I didn’t plan on them being near perfect. Street handling drastically improved as well.
Kid Richmond haha yeah well I also have a 2020 350 Platinum coming so yeah my head is spinning like crazy with build ideas. Awesome man you pretty much just sold me on what shocks to get. Thanks again
Ok I’m late to this even though you posted on the Facebook page awhile back. What lift if any. I have a Laramie off-road and both it and the Rebel come with a 1 inch over stock. So will a 3 inch lift only give 2 inch from what we have or will we actually get 3 inches from what we have now
What about a rebel with air ride. I'm a disabled vet and I need the air ride to help get in and out and I have a power step. Looking for a 4 inch lift. Who should I go with
Thank you for the video Loved it question did you also change your springs in the front or just the shocks I have a 2019 Ram Rebel and I'm looking to purchasing falcon shocks
Thanks dude. Wheels are Fuel Zephyr 18x9 with a +1 offset wrapped in factory rubber. Not sure what size tires because truck is now sold but I’ll look up stock size. There was zero rub and I think the metric size worked out to be somewhere in the 33” range.
Wierd I found this channel. This is what I've been looking for. Just good all around outdoor stuff and offroad. My wife really has been wanting to learn photography and just use our phones. How hard is it to use that set up u use? I'm in process now of getting truck to take out also and been debating between gladiator and Tacoma and upgrading suspension. Rebel would be cheaper and better ride and comfort and I too would swap to falcon suspension too if I went ram rebel full size. See the guy with falcon had a gladiator did you drive it?
Glad to hear you enjoyed it. My camera setup is rather simple to use once you learn the technicals with it but even in full auto mode you can capture some great photo and video. It’s a mirrorless which means what you see on the view finder is what the camera will spit out vs a DSLR where you have to keep taking pictures and making adjustments. With mirrorless you see your adjustments in real time. I too was interested in a Tacoma but they are just lacking in tech, plus they still use drum brakes in the rear which is mind boggling that a 2020 model would run such an antiquated system. I also have a need for more cargo room and a full size short bed is 👌🏻 for me. Not sure what would be cheaper as the Rebel fully loaded can run anywhere from 52-64k depending on what rebates you qualify but Falcon makes shocks for all 3 and yes I had some seat time in their gladiator. That’s the vehicle I drove as a loaner for a few days while they test fitted the Ram with shock. The gladiator and JL is dialed in perfectly and makes it handle off road more like a side by side but still gives a nice firm street ride. But what you’re really wanting to see is what they release at SEMA in a few weeks.
@@KidRichmond Cool. I'll let my wife know on what you have on set up from your video where it shows on pics. Yeah I'm just opposite and dont need full size truck but after discounts they sure are about same price with lots more stuff and comfort. Crazy how that works.

Bro just by hearing you say that you did not had no pride of ownership with your Raptor made me laugh of joy knowing there is someone out there as honest as I am . Because the truth is they suck and quality of build is crap. I had a brand new 2018 wich blew up the stock motor in 6 months got fix under Waranty and the same day it was ready for pick up it broke down again in the traffic light down the dealer. Make my story short it blew up the engine 3 times. The dealer replaced it for a 2019 and it is even a bigger shit than the 2018. That electronic suspension really fucked up the ride. It’s stif and it’s more like for on road than off road. The governor is set to 110MPH WTF !!! And the transmisión is acting up already with a check engine code and hard shifts. The pice of shit is falling apart with only 5 months . The interior is little by little just coming apart . And the engine has the same noise at start up as the other one that blew up the engine 3 times because of the variable valve sprocket wich Ford has not fixed the problem. This truck in P.R. Is $94,000.00 retail . So today I picked up a 2020 Ram Rebel and now I’m a proud owner of a real truck .🤙🏼

@@idontcaresapo8233 uh oh that ain’t good. So there’s definitely enough room when the weights are properly placed. It could be that your tire shop is double stacking them just under the caliper.
