- We went for the official Honda CR-V Media test drive and we ended up with the AWD Turbo V variant as we neared our destination in Penang.
It also happened that our test route went through the Balik Pulau Durian run road and it was too tempting to resist.

This car is already popular..but it would be more popular if it didn’t have a CVT
Actually CVT promotes fuel efficiency, and this CRV is quite efficient
this is not proton cvt which lazy and jerky..🤣🤣

They have the AWD programmed to put power to the rear under hard acceleration and when cornering in a spirited manner. They also have what's called Agile Brake Assist that activates the inner front wheel's brake to help with cornering as well.

Uncle, can you try CRV RS in genting ?
Mr Khong. is the tyre toyo? hows the handling with this tyre? Would changing to other brands such as Michelin or Continental improve its handling?
Changing to higher performance tyres always improves handling, but should be SUV tyres
any comments how this will win against the tiguan? the CRV using multi clutch plate for the AWD system? and which brand of AWD did honda use?
It's an electronically-controlled system so it can put power to all four wheels when it's deemed helpful, even on dry pavement. Anything other than light acceleration and it's actively 4WD.
So what’s the torque split for this? 40/60?
We are told it is available from 100 percent to 40 percent. Depends on conditions

The Harrier is more premium, but the CRV has a bit more power
3:50 Mr Khong, compare forester 2023 with this model
The Forester will not have as much power around the bends, but it will also handle just as well because it has AWD.

Definitely cannot touge on a straight road. This is one of the good touge roads in Penang, but a bit narrow in some places so one must be careful.
