This is why Mick and the Stones are so successful and long lasting.....
Personality and fluent French......great audience communication....
And working hard to put on a good show.....
I'm half English half French and I just LUUUUUUUUVE when he speaks french... He's funny and so simple and human WHILE being also this perfect cliche of the aging posing and slightly aristocratic Royalty Of Rock !!! I love you Mick...
So when you study the Hundred Years War who do you pull for?
It's an honor to see this guy speak French very well since he is part of one of the greatest rock band.
Kudos to Mick Jagger! He played a major part on James Brown video documentary!
It jist warms my heart to see how much Mr. Brown resembles my dad who passed in 2000 and since he has passed it happed it means much more to see his videos. My dad dod not straighten his hair but they look like they could be step brothers or half brothers but daddy wore a afro all the time in his youth was a top insurance agent, regional manager that wore a suit everyday and it gives me a chance to look back and imagine I am looking at my dad. I just lost my last picture of him being a child of divorce.
I hope your father still lives in your heart and he’s kept alive in your memories of him. God bless ❤️🙏❤️
I love how real Mick Jagger is in this interview - as he is every time - nothing to prove and comfortable in his own skin.
Obviously he has nothing to prove!!
Jagger has nothing to prove to anybody. He's probably in everyone's top-five most important people in Rock and Roll.
Word... His own skin...
@@Stranglerxx77 I had to say bye, too many wild horses I suppose.💧
i love listening to Micks interview, without trying to sound patronising he is a very intelligent man. i was always a Stones man ever since i stole my brothers Aftermath album so i could listen to Paint it Black.. i think their best concerts were at the Holywood Bowl and Arizona, in the 80s but those are just my choices, other will obviously like others.
i think their best concerts were in the early eighties too, ad i also stole my elder brothers Aftermath album
Some girls tour of 78 has some of their best live performances, it's on RUclips check it out if u haven't already

Following The Stones career from their beginnings to where they are today is still amazing to me. When I look back to their early years I would have never imagined their influence on Rock & Roll and music as a whole. The Rolling Stones became the James Brown's, Little Richard's, Chuck Berry's of my time and and generations ahead. There are no comparisons to be drawn (who is the greatest band of all time) between The Beatles and The Stones. They are in two completely different catigories. Both are the greatest in their zones but The Stones are the epitome of R&R / R&B of any that have come before.
Sir MICK Jagger best 👍
Mick is amazing!
fantastic interview. the best part is when he says: uè, bob! innanzitutt! fa figa! marò!
L'aspirino
You're right, that part is very informative. It also blew my mind when he says 'dai.. tiro gli schiaffi.. fisiopata!' That really shows Mick's emotional side imo
Thank you Mick for sheding light on experiences trhat only you and a handful of others may have experienced, how incredible it must have been for you to be a part of this thing we call Funk, Rock and Roll soul and everything in between. As they say you're a brotha from anotha mutha. Thank you and God Bless you.
Mick enjoyed that interview not the boring ones he normally has to endure!
yes it seems
Like the ones with the ‘age’ questions and talking to him like he’s some kind of exotic freak. Been a fan since 1968 and he’s always been smart irreverent and classy ( and sometimes a bit ‘little lord Fauntleroy’ pain in the butt). Love on ya Micheal Phillip Jagger. Thanks for it all.
God bless you Mick!
Mick just referenced Affrikaa Bambataa! Damn! Mick knows his shit!
Jagger makes a better Frenchman than an Englishman. No kidding, his mannerisms match much better in french.
Think so, more expressive than english people in general.
Vous avez raison. Cheers from Montreal
I didn't know Mick Jagger could speak French, although I've heard he does kiss that way.
hes living in his castle in france for many years
I laughed until I Ha’d at that.
I'm french. He speaks french during concert in France very correctly. He kept his sweet english Accent. Phil Collins is able to speak french too.
@@jacqueline23788 He also was married in France with Bianca who was talking French. As a kid he was on hollidays at the camping in the same place where he had a Castel now since early eightees.

Dan's un Chateau mon petit!
I just had a spliff before watching this..now me heads done in. Happy birthday Mick!
He got mixed up. - doing his 'FRENCH" interview - he called them THE ROLLING SCONES. What a delight he is!.
I have never ever before heard him speaking French.
Vendelín Vavřinec Sádlo he lives in france
Me too. But he speaks very good
@@Methilde As old as he is, his parents are still living? Wow....that's amazing. What are they in their late 90s or 100s? Cause Mick himself is 79 now (google says).
@@Sheryl777Jagger was happy enough to keep his father in good relations until 94 years.
@@Methilde That's good to hear...and thank you for the information too. Mick obviously comes from a long line of people who live to a ripe old age it sounds like.
Love you Mike Jagger appreciate you supporting blues artist funerals and James Brown movie! 💯😎💯
THIS GUY IS REALLY CLASSY !!
👌👌👌 👍👍👍
Jagger is a very smart guy
James Brown's music will live forever. stuff = musical genius !
Back when Sir Mick still looked happy. Alive.. Electrifying... Miss that feeling MPJ reflected back then..
JB was a great performer.🎶😎
James brown....fa figa!
Brown was every bit as important to modern music as Ledbelly, Ellington, Sinatra, and the Stones. Moreso, I think, than Presley at least in regards to how he changed or created a form of music.
It's what Jagger said in this interview, but he forgot Chuck Berry.
Anyone who doesnt understand how influential James Brown was is missing a massive part of music history.
For Keith it was Chuck Berry
You know what ? Before i came into the music of the Rollings Stones and Eric Clapton and the Bee Gees !!!! ( ps i love the Beatles and Elvis too anyway)I I had no clue about Black Music Blues R and B,or Funk,Soul and James Brown. Now 39 years later i have because of the inspiration that those Artists brought into my life.So that is absolutely beautiful because you start listening to your favorite musician and singers and also being inspired by their favorite singers and musicians. That phantastic.Isn't it It ?Is like a positive chainreaction of Inspiration. Thanks a lot Mick and Keith,Eric,Paul,John,George,Ringo,Barry,Robin,Maurice,Elvis snd James Brown🎙🙏
👉 I got a good thing and i ain't gonna give it up🎸🎙✍😉😎✌
When they started their goal was to turn other people on to that music. They did it to me too. Every thing from Charlie Patton to Miles Davis ✌️
Mick is simply great. The best & greatest Rock Star ever!!!
Philip Matsikoudis ... Elvis by a mile and I was Stones fan from beginning
Genius ❤🔥
I really dont understand a word of it....but he still looks very nice 🌺😝
Mick spent a lot of time in France, obviously learned the language .
Also he went to grammar school so he had it in school too. But you have to live it to learn. I’m an English Montrealer who speaks French and when you use it daily (after living here my whole life 61 years) it’s pretty easy. You need it to finish high school in Quebec. My grand parents were British but when they came here in 1905 it was pretty English. But is sure is different now. If you can’t speak French here you can’t do much.
Mick spent Hollydays with his parents in a small village in Vallée de la Loire where he bought a castel in the early eightees, he was there for the quarentine.
The Stones spent 6 months recording Exile and he married Bianca in south of france And he is really smart.
I didn't know that Mick could speak fucking English!
Mick speaks French and Keith has his own language.
Keith speaks Sulfate.
LIVING IN AMÉRICA - JAMES BROWN.
Iz Mick master ov language like every country he plays learnz there language's bright sharp crisp clear voice ov fifty decades generations yeah yeah yeah

I did not know Mick spoke such good French
Mick me encanta su musica como satisfacción
Yes... nice comments about James Brown, but I enjoyed checking out Jagger's French. Quite good.
Another side of Mick Jagger epic
Just think all that Mick has done and seen in life.
Several lifetimes worth!!
Uè BOB.. 'NNANZTUTT'... EH OH!

Hahhaha, ah caro Fabio... magari piu facile fare il doppiaggio quando Jagger parla francese? Boh.
@@benrichardson5798 No no. L'ambiguità dello scrivere. Tutto qua.
Mostly cause Mick didn't daid that at all, work your french
Right, in an interview from 1973 or...now, 2023?- he has been... that level headed person , in interviews. It's part of that era, though- they were all intelligent/ shrewd thinkers along with their art.
Monsieur Mick Jagger
The Point is: MICK & JAMES & LITTLE RICHARD AND ALL THOSE POWER3 NEW RISING VOICE OF POP MUSIC COULD AND CAN SPINE SHAKING OUR MINDS & SOULS... IMAGINE AT LIVE OVERWHELMING CONCERTS AND AT THE SPUR OF THE MOMENT OF GREET & MEET RENDEZVOUS TETE A TETE OF THEM IN SHOWS ON OR BACKSTAGES . QUITE SPARKLING & PHENOMENAL. THE MOVIE SERIES THE MOMENT IS A TOTAL MIXED UP EMOTIONS AND JAMES BROWN VERY CHARISMATIC HAD TO SHAPE HIMSELF INTO THE SCENE AND ON THE RUN HE GOT A WAY TO HOST OUR NEW COMING BEST OF RISING YOUNGSTERS : THE ROLLING STONES;! Ouhiii!! RR EXPERIENCE OF THE SIDEREAL POWER OF EACH ONE'S PERSONALITY & POWER OF ICONIC PRESENCE. Those UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCES !!🤣✨💫⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
L'aspirino.
nice Mick!
L'unica cosa che ho capito è che Balivo è giustificato..
Eh, ma chi è questo Balivo? Me lo sono chiesti piu volte
Ci sono..... due frecce..
Mercy
Its like a skinny rock drugaddict versión of schwarzenegger
yes, this always struck me, they have quite the same width of the mouth, same hair and are both the same sign in zodiac (Leo), which make them move their hands the same way when they talk..
Lol!
Schwarzenegger was also a druggie, and now he's fat.
Thou shall not judge. Which drug addict speak many languages, and know how to lead the biggest Rockn Roll Band on earth. Fluently french. i think the drugging times are over. long time ago.
Great movie. Mick based his floor on James Brown
And Little Richard as Mick said.
Bon interview!
Jagger's French sounds very good to me.
Je t'aime 😍😍

Il'est tres cool!
Astutamente.

He moves like Jagger
je l'admire
The french speaking Mick said ‘ the rolling scones’ ....hahaha.brilliant !
I'm surprised how much Jagger knows about music and the different genres of music.
Many musicians are also big fans
of other musicians.
He's been exposed to a lot of tunes in seventy years.
Plus his children expose him
to current artists.
class, dignity, reputation, urbane, polished, accomplished, titled, debonaire, all the things that I am---Je suis un rock star! Just ask Carli Bruni..
