Then calmly look at her and say politly someone will be right with you.

Oftentimes when I'm working, I'll go to show a customer where something they're asking about is and they'll be like "oh, you can just tell me where it is and I'll find it". Probably a generational thing. In the early 2000s I worked in a music store, and we were trained to walk someone to the product, pick it up and hand it to them if they asked us where something was. I would never expect it, though. I'd rather they just tell me so I don't have to awkwardly follow them in silence or feel obligated to make small talk, haha.
Yep. Usually if I can't find something I'll just ask where it is, although sometimes an employee will take me to it, but I don't know if I've ever asked them to do so.

I love when a girl gets into Dinos! They were very cool! I was a nanny for a little girl years ago who was the same way! I could easily picture her leading a "tour" in a museum just like the little one in the story. My own granddaughter has started to take an interest and I am looking forward to taking her to the museum to check them out. Tell your daughter this Nana thinks she is very cool!😁

It was Friday evening: After work, I put on a white, long-sleeved dress shirt, a neck tie and some good slacks with a casual cut to them. I was going to go out with some young people that I work with, so I wanted to look respectable, ya know? As we entered the bar /restaurant I noticed fairly quickly that the place was full of blue jeans, tee-shirts and tennis shoes... Boy! Did I stand out in that crowd! 😲About halfway through our meal, I went to the restroom to.... 'rest' myself, ya know!? 😀 As I was washing my hands afterwards, a young boy, maybe 8 to 10 years old, spoke up next to me and asked me something about the restaurant /food policy. I had no idea of course, so I just shook my head and told him softly that he should probably ask someone who worked here. "You're not the manager!?" the little boy asked me with wide eyes. I was still grinning at him as I slowly shook my head side to side, "Nope!" I said, "I'm just another customer here like you, young man!" I chuckled about it for a quick moment and then I thought about it, so I asked him "Why in the world would you think that I'm the manager here?" with a smile on my face. In all his innocence and honesty, the boy looked me straight in the eye and told me "Because you look so old!" 😀(I was only 33 or 34 at the time... But, to a little boy, I guess that is pretty old. Isn't it?) 🙂 I wished the boy a good night, "Hope you enjoy your meal!" then returned to my friends in the restaurant. When I told all the ladies what had just happened they gasped! A couple of them even said they would have slapped the boy for saying that to them! 😲 "Oh...." I told the ladies, "He didn't mean anything by it.... and besides, to him -- I am an old man!" The women laughed at the situation then too. 🙂

You know what I do when I need to ask an employee something and the employees at a place don't have labeled shirts or aprons or something? I do this magical thing, I ask "Do you work here?" It's amazing how much embarrassment that can save.
When I ask an employee for help, and they smile at me and say "Sure!! What do you need?" I tell them what it is I need, and they help me, I graciously thank them. Heck, if I could, I would even offer to buy them something as a way to say thank you. Of course, I would ask the manager for permission first. They love me at my local grocery stores, because I know how to act toward people. I even acknowledge the fact they don't get paid enough to deal with rude people. They know I understand that. They're grateful to me for being polite toward them.

I would reflexively grab that finger and yank down, hard, while turning my fist 90°, bending said finger the wrong way. #3 Some times, the best way to deal with a-holes and Karens is to act as an A-hole or as a Karen. So, Karen, if you think that person is a “lazy employee,” why do you feel it’s your duty to not only berate that person and so call discipline them by assaulting them! If they are employees, for one: they aren’t at everyone’s beckon call their whole shift (are you where you work?), do get breaks, and don’t work 24/7. Second: if they ARE being “lazy,” unless you’re paying them directly, which you’re not, it ain’t your concern nor your job to intervene much less reprimand them. Also, you start getting ridiculous, they do have the right to refuse service! And employee or not, you can’t put you hand or fingernail jabs on anyone else!!!

In story 3, OP is amazing. As for the critics I'd argue that you can't be enough of an a-hole to a person treating you like a slave; and honestly if it takes these people being treated like trash to curb their entitlement then all the power to these would be victims.

@@wfcoaker1398 Honestly though more people should be doing this, I firmly believe that a lot of this entitlement we see today is brought on by parents turning a blind eye or otherwise underplaying the antics of their children; I'm not saying that all the problems of kids are on the parents though, as children regularly go behind adults backs to get what they want or even lie, and parents don't have omniscience to know what company their child keeps in their social circle.
@@festro1000 good points but behavior like "Karens" is actually almost all on the parents and how their child was raised. The parents raise the child to believe they are the center if the universe and can do no wrong, also that others are beneath them. That starts very young. I worked as a nanny for many years and watched it happen over and over. I was lucky, the family I worked for and am still friends with all these years later actually cared about their child and did NOT want to raise a spoiled brat. I am proud to say they were successful in that, their now grown child is an amazing caring person but that isn't always the way. The stories I could tell of spoiled self centered children could fill a book or two (or more if I included stories from fellow nannies). I will give you though that it is not always the fault of the parents, some do their best and still end up with a problem child.

These people need to be taught the truth that they are not the center of the universe regardless of how their parents brought them up. I mean even if we brought awareness to the masses which we already have you's think the problem would not be as widespread, yet we still have people spoiling children. Frankly, like an outlook on any crime, entitlement will be a persistent issue in society as people have differing ideas on what proper parenting really is.

Story 3: Taking things out of carts is, at worst, incredibly rude. But when you have someone there who's unwilling to listen to reason, may as well be unreasonable back. No one comes out clean, but I'm sure OP came out happy at the very least.
When they shout, pretend you didn't hear. Bonus points if you can get them to scream louder. Then see if you can get them to do it in a higher register. Even more bonus points if they end up screaming themselves hoarse.

Even if the guy received more serious injuries, it is still self defense. The OP may feel bad about it, but the guy brought it on himself. Don’t hit someone without expecting to get hit in return. Being a relatively small guy, I’ve had more than a few bullies that thought it was safe to hit me. Much to their surprise, they discovered the opposite. Some I just embarrassed, a few others got hurt, the rest usually got some other punishment (Detention, suspension, expulsion). All ended up regretting attacking me. Yeah, this was back in my school days.
My husband has a habit of bringing drink and food forward whenever we go somewhere. He used to manage a liquor store and was constantly moving items forward lol.
Hey Dark Fluff! Always love the stories here. Now, if I was mistaken for op in first story, when Karen came out of bathroom, I would have told her that I heard them saying her car would need engine replaced, costing thousands of dollars and to go ask a real employee about it.
That last one is SO heartwarming! On my end, I was heavily into model rockets and jets, and explaining them to everyone was always such a highlight for me as a kid. I think that is what got me into my tutoring/teaching and my job.
Karen’s often make a scene expecting that their behavior will get them free stuff. The worst are from India. I work in Seattle and we have people come in and immediately make a scene hoping the managers will give them free food just to make them go away. It doesn’t happen very often now because word has gotten around that all our managers have been told no free food and anyone who makes a scene is to be immediately trespassed off the property with charges whenever possible. Cheap as they are, they will actually pay employees to go to court and testify if necessary. We occasionally get the mentally ill or disturbed people but the treatment is the same. Trespassed and if they show up again, charges and if prosecutors won’t press charges, management goes after civil charges that prosecutors can’t stop. No contact orders, the works. The police don’t like it because they don’t want to do their jobs and the prosecutors don’t want to look like they’re “persecuting the homeless.” It sure cuts the level of BS we have to deal with. And many of our best customers come because our place is “safe.”
If some idiot is bothering me when I am minding my own business, yes, I will turn into an asshole. I don't apologize, I don't say a damned thing, I just walk off. I owe other shoppers absolutely nothing beyond not being rude to them if I get into their way (with a polite excuse me or i am sorry pardon me). Some dill weed screeching at me just amuses me and I refuse to engage. It is called walking away. I know how pissy it makes them and that makes me happy.

Story 2: I know it's the OP's mistake not Fluff's, but in legal situations the word is "pleaded," not "pled". It's actually two completely different verbs. Plead (present) --> Pled (past) = to beg. Plea (present) --> Pleaded (past) = to admit guilt. There's no actual overlap in the words, they just happen to sound similar so people get confused.
Story 3: She can easily go back and get what she needs again and honestly, she deserves it. And they even put back the mayo. Also, they aren't wrong. I tend to straighten things in the store even now after 15 years away.
The story about the kid giving a tour at the dinosaur museum brings fond memories to me. My husband and I went on a tour of a Mammoth dig at Waco, Texas. The tour guide was great and it was a fun tour. At the end, the guide said we had a little time left and asked if anyone knows how they preserve and package dinosaur bones for shipment to researchers at university. A preschool boy excitedly waved his hand and then went on a lengthy, very detailed explanation of the process. The guide told the boy that he could have a job there when he grows up. Then he asked how the boy knew so much about dinosaurs. He answered, "Dinosaur Train!" Moral of the story: support PBS.
Story 5: Yeah, that's wholesome. Mom was probably thinking OP was some kind of junior guide, doing some internship of sorts. But all's well that ends well 🙂

It is in the possession of the store and is just a means of transportation for what you intend to buy. So no. What OP did was not wrong. Over the top maybe but not wrong. He did not steal her items and unless they were the last items in store/on the shelf store employees won't do anything about it.

I'd say while it's not illegal in any sense, it is rude, and shops have been known to ban customers who are rude / disruptive to other customers, but it's no more rude than what the Karen did I suppose.

Damn, there are so many techniques that anyone of any age can use to break bones of people who assault them. A poke in the chest? In a few weeks, maybe they'll use that hand. A slap? They'll get use of that arm in a few weeks. Grabbing your body? You need to make certain they won't get up. Keep crushing ribs until they stop struggling. Even if you are 80 pounds, a few full weight drops on the chest are often effective. There are more extreme techniques that I won't mention.
That'll get you in shit in some places, though. In Australia I'd be worried that'd count as grevious harm, especially since breaking someone's hand for them poking your chest could be easily argued as an unreasonable response.

Regarding the employee apologizing, when it wasn't their responsibility: I was grocery shopping the other day, and just as I was looking at something on the top shelf (Please note: I am SHORT. If I want something off the top shelf, I MUST ask for assistance), and deciding, "No, I'll be good and not get it. I'm supposed to be sticking to my new medical food plan. Darn it," so I did not ask for assistance to put it in my cart. Well, and employee saw me, and did the basic, "Hello. May I assist you?" "No, thanks. I'm good." "Oh, I'm sorry. Did you find everything you need?" "Yep. I just put the last thing on my list into my cart. I was just considering the juice up there." "Oh, I'm sorry. Well, have a nice day." "Why are you sorry that I found everything I need?" "I'm sorry. It's the rule." "The rule?" "I'm sorry. Whenever we aren't able to help a customer, we have to apologize. It's the new rule." "But, you would have assisted me, if I needed it and asked for it?" "I'm sorry. Yes, I sure would have. Is there anything else I can do for you?" At this point, I was weirded out, and strictly stopping myself from backing away slowly. Instead, I smiled, thanked him, and pushed my cart away. Behind me, I heard him say, "I'm sorry. Have a nice day!" I've been shopping at this place for YEARS, and never had an interaction like that. It was disturbing. But I believe, now, that it was a form of malicious compliance on his part. "Yes! I got everything I need!" should not have "I'm sorry" as the first part of the reply. It should be, "I'm glad," or "That's good," or something affirming and friendly. "I'm sorry" for NOTHING is just... WEIRD. Fortunately, every other interaction I had with employees that day involved actually assisting me so I didn't even know about the rule. I just got cheerful, professional service, got my groceries, and went on my way.
I don't normally comment on these, just enjoy them while driving around for my work. But, story 4, OP was a legend right there. Very firm lesson in why you don't just go around attacking people you don't know. The zip tie restraints were the icing on the cake. Hope ya doin well Fluff

I remember being a young waitress, and while I was putting a hot bowl of soup on the table, dude grabbed my butt. Totally on accident (ok not really). I had to apologize, and go get him another one. He went to do it again when I went to put the second bowl down. Some people don't learn.

The first story: I cannot even begin to tell you how I would have reacted if that woman got in my face. Theoretically, I would have backed up and told her to stay out of my space. If she had touched me, I would have probably pushed her back. It was Friday evening: After work, I put on a white, long-sleeved dress shirt, a neck tie and some good slacks with a casual cut to them. I was going to go out with some young people that I work with, so I wanted to look respectable, ya know? As we entered the bar /restaurant I noticed fairly quickly that the place was full of blue jeans, tee-shirts and tennis shoes... Boy! Did I stand out in that crowd! 😲About halfway through our meal, I went to the restroom to.... 'rest' myself, ya know!? 😀 As I was washing my hands afterwards, a young boy, maybe 8 to 10 years old, spoke up next to me and asked me something about the restaurant /food policy. I had no idea of course, so I just shook my head and told him softly that he should probably ask someone who worked here. "You're not the manager!?" the little boy asked me with wide eyes. I was still grinning at him as I slowly shook my head side to side, "Nope!" I said, "I'm just another customer here like you, young man!" I chuckled about it for a quick moment and then I thought about it, so I asked him "Why in the world would you think that I'm the manager here?" with a smile on my face. In all his innocence and honesty, the boy looked me straight in the eye and told me "Because you look so old!" 😀(I was only 33 or 34 at the time... But, to a little boy, I guess that is pretty old. Isn't it?) 🙂 I wished the boy a good night, "Hope you enjoy your meal!" then returned to my friends in the restaurant. When I told all the ladies what had just happened they gasped! A couple of them even said they would have slapped the boy for saying that to them! 😲 "Oh...." I told the ladies, "He didn't mean anything by it.... and besides, to him -- I am an old man!" The women laughed at the situation then too. 🙂

The funnest ones are when OP turns around and loudly demands, "Finally an employee, go get me , and be quick, I haven't got all day." Th look on Karen's face must be priceless when you do that.

I'm with you; if someone decides to jab a finger at me, they're gonna be treated to an ER visit to have that finger splinted.
You know what I do when I need to ask an employee something and the employees at a place don't have labeled shirts or aprons or something? I do this magical thing, I ask "Do you work here?"
It's amazing how much embarrassment that can save.
When I ask an employee for help, and they smile at me and say "Sure!! What do you need?" I tell them what it is I need, and they help me, I graciously thank them. Heck, if I could, I would even offer to buy them something as a way to say thank you. Of course, I would ask the manager for permission first. They love me at my local grocery stores, because I know how to act toward people. I even acknowledge the fact they don't get paid enough to deal with rude people. They know I understand that. They're grateful to me for being polite toward them.
#1 Someone jab their finger in my chest ? I would reflexively grab that finger and yank down, hard, while turning my fist 90°, bending said finger the wrong way.
#3 Some times, the best way to deal with a-holes and Karens is to act as an A-hole or as a Karen. Putting them on the receiving end of their antics. To play the Reverse Uno card on them.

So, Karen, if you think that person is a “lazy employee,” why do you feel it’s your duty to not only berate that person and so call discipline them by assaulting them! If they are employees, for one: they aren’t at everyone’s beckon call their whole shift (are you where you work?), do get breaks, and don’t work 24/7. Second: if they ARE being “lazy,” unless you’re paying them directly, which you’re not, it ain’t your concern nor your job to intervene much less reprimand them. Also, you start getting ridiculous, they do have the right to refuse service! And employee or not, you can’t put you hand or fingernail jabs on anyone else!!!
Karen’s believe anyone who performs a service for them is basically a slave that does not have rights. How does this attitude happen in an adult.

In story 3, OP is amazing. As for the critics I'd argue that you can't be enough of an a-hole to a person treating you like a slave; and honestly if it takes these people being treated like trash to curb their entitlement then all the power to these would be victims.

@@wfcoaker1398 Honestly though more people should be doing this, I firmly believe that a lot of this entitlement we see today is brought on by parents turning a blind eye or otherwise underplaying the antics of their children; I'm not saying that all the problems of kids are on the parents though, as children regularly go behind adults backs to get what they want or even lie, and parents don't have omniscience to know what company their child keeps in their social circle.
@@festro1000 good points but behavior like "Karens" is actually almost all on the parents and how their child was raised. The parents raise the child to believe they are the center if the universe and can do no wrong, also that others are beneath them. That starts very young. I worked as a nanny for many years and watched it happen over and over. I was lucky, the family I worked for and am still friends with all these years later actually cared about their child and did NOT want to raise a spoiled brat. I am proud to say they were successful in that, their now grown child is an amazing caring person but that isn't always the way. The stories I could tell of spoiled self centered children could fill a book or two (or more if I included stories from fellow nannies). I will give you though that it is not always the fault of the parents, some do their best and still end up with a problem child.

These people need to be taught the truth that they are not the center of the universe regardless of how their parents brought them up. I mean even if we brought awareness to the masses which we already have you's think the problem would not be as widespread, yet we still have people spoiling children. Frankly, like an outlook on any crime, entitlement will be a persistent issue in society as people have differing ideas on what proper parenting really is.

Story 3: Taking things out of carts is, at worst, incredibly rude. But when you have someone there who's unwilling to listen to reason, may as well be unreasonable back. No one comes out clean, but I'm sure OP came out happy at the very least.
Last story: It would be cool if OP currently works for that museum! That would be the perfect ending to the story!

Story 3: OP didn't curse. OP didn't ruin any food. THE ITEMS STILL BELONG TO THE STORE. So, no, OP got his point across in a reasonable, nonviolent way.
Even if the guy received more serious injuries, it is still self defense. The OP may feel bad about it, but the guy brought it on himself. Don’t hit someone without expecting to get hit in return. Being a relatively small guy, I’ve had more than a few bullies that thought it was safe to hit me. Much to their surprise, they discovered the opposite. Some I just embarrassed, a few others got hurt, the rest usually got some other punishment (Detention, suspension, expulsion). All ended up regretting attacking me. Yeah, this was back in my school days.

My husband has a habit of bringing drink and food forward whenever we go somewhere. He used to manage a liquor store and was constantly moving items forward lol.

Hey Dark Fluff! Always love the stories here. Now, if I was mistaken for op in first story, when Karen came out of bathroom, I would have told her that I heard them saying her car would need engine replaced, costing thousands of dollars and to go ask a real employee about it.
That last one is SO heartwarming! On my end, I was heavily into model rockets and jets, and explaining them to everyone was always such a highlight for me as a kid. I think that is what got me into my tutoring/teaching and my job.
Last Story: I absolutely love this and wouldn't be surprised if that little boy remembers it still too!
Karen’s often make a scene expecting that their behavior will get them free stuff. The worst are from India. I work in Seattle and we have people come in and immediately make a scene hoping the managers will give them free food just to make them go away. It doesn’t happen very often now because word has gotten around that all our managers have been told no free food and anyone who makes a scene is to be immediately trespassed off the property with charges whenever possible. Cheap as they are, they will actually pay employees to go to court and testify if necessary. We occasionally get the mentally ill or disturbed people but the treatment is the same. Trespassed and if they show up again, charges and if prosecutors won’t press charges, management goes after civil charges that prosecutors can’t stop. No contact orders, the works. The police don’t like it because they don’t want to do their jobs and the prosecutors don’t want to look like they’re “persecuting the homeless.” It sure cuts the level of BS we have to deal with. And many of our best customers come because our place is “safe.”

If some idiot is bothering me when I am minding my own business, yes, I will turn into an asshole. I don't apologize, I don't say a damned thing, I just walk off. I owe other shoppers absolutely nothing beyond not being rude to them if I get into their way (with a polite excuse me or i am sorry pardon me). Some dill weed screeching at me just amuses me and I refuse to engage. It is called walking away. I know how pissy it makes them and that makes me happy.
I suppose my habit of wearing a faux-fur tail when I go out in casual clothing prevents me from being mistaken for an employee.
Jabbing finger: I would have asked her if she liked her finger because if she doesn't stop jabbing that finger, I'll break it off and hand it back to her.

The guy getting punched in the nose has no sence of self preservation. I have been knocked down several times and fell backward when a chair broke under me landing flat on my back every time. But not once did i allow my head to hit the ground.

Story 2: I know it's the OP's mistake not Fluff's, but in legal situations the word is "pleaded," not "pled". It's actually two completely different verbs.
Plead (present) --> Pled (past) = to beg.
Plea (present) --> Pleaded (past) = to admit guilt.
There's no actual overlap in the words, they just happen to sound similar so people get confused.
Story 3: She can easily go back and get what she needs again and honestly, she deserves it. And they even put back the mayo.
Also, they aren't wrong. I tend to straighten things in the store even now after 15 years away.
I still do it, but im always looking around in case anyone sees me doing it.

The story about the kid giving a tour at the dinosaur museum brings fond memories to me. My husband and I went on a tour of a Mammoth dig at Waco, Texas. The tour guide was great and it was a fun tour. At the end, the guide said we had a little time left and asked if anyone knows how they preserve and package dinosaur bones for shipment to researchers at university. A preschool boy excitedly waved his hand and then went on a lengthy, very detailed explanation of the process. The guide told the boy that he could have a job there when he grows up. Then he asked how the boy knew so much about dinosaurs. He answered, "Dinosaur Train!" Moral of the story: support PBS.
The last story put a huge smile on my face. I love listening to wholesome stories and stuff

I'd say while it's not illegal in any sense, it is rude, and shops have been known to ban customers who are rude / disruptive to other customers, but it's no more rude than what the Karen did I suppose.

Damn, there are so many techniques that anyone of any age can use to break bones of people who assault them. A poke in the chest? In a few weeks, maybe they'll use that hand. A slap? They'll get use of that arm in a few weeks. Grabbing your body? You need to make certain they won't get up. Keep crushing ribs until they stop struggling. Even if you are 80 pounds, a few full weight drops on the chest are often effective. There are more extreme techniques that I won't mention.
That'll get you in shit in some places, though. In Australia I'd be worried that'd count as grevious harm, especially since breaking someone's hand for them poking your chest could be easily argued as an unreasonable response.
@@damien678 understandable but here in the US you could get away with it if you were defending yourself. Hell, depending on the State you, sadly, could get away with shooting them. I know that sounds screwed up and it is.

Regarding the employee apologizing, when it wasn't their responsibility:
I was grocery shopping the other day, and just as I was looking at something on the top shelf (Please note: I am SHORT. If I want something off the top shelf, I MUST ask for assistance), and deciding, "No, I'll be good and not get it. I'm supposed to be sticking to my new medical food plan. Darn it," so I did not ask for assistance to put it in my cart.
Well, and employee saw me, and did the basic, "Hello. May I assist you?"
"No, thanks. I'm good."
"Oh, I'm sorry. Did you find everything you need?"
"Yep. I just put the last thing on my list into my cart. I was just considering the juice up there."
"Oh, I'm sorry. Well, have a nice day."
"Why are you sorry that I found everything I need?"
"I'm sorry. It's the rule."
"The rule?"
"I'm sorry. Whenever we aren't able to help a customer, we have to apologize. It's the new rule."
"But, you would have assisted me, if I needed it and asked for it?"
"I'm sorry. Yes, I sure would have. Is there anything else I can do for you?"
At this point, I was weirded out, and strictly stopping myself from backing away slowly. Instead, I smiled, thanked him, and pushed my cart away. Behind me, I heard him say, "I'm sorry. Have a nice day!"
I've been shopping at this place for YEARS, and never had an interaction like that. It was disturbing. But I believe, now, that it was a form of malicious compliance on his part.
"Yes! I got everything I need!" should not have "I'm sorry" as the first part of the reply. It should be, "I'm glad," or "That's good," or something affirming and friendly. "I'm sorry" for NOTHING is just... WEIRD.
Fortunately, every other interaction I had with employees that day involved actually assisting me so I didn't even know about the rule. I just got cheerful, professional service, got my groceries, and went on my way.
I don't normally comment on these, just enjoy them while driving around for my work. But, story 4, OP was a legend right there. Very firm lesson in why you don't just go around attacking people you don't know. The zip tie restraints were the icing on the cake. Hope ya doin well Fluff

I remember being a young waitress, and while I was putting a hot bowl of soup on the table, dude grabbed my butt. Totally on accident (ok not really). I had to apologize, and go get him another one. He went to do it again when I went to put the second bowl down. Some people don't learn.
Some people really are awful. I am so glad I never had to deal with that when I worked food service. Our 6'5 500 pound cook/manager would never have allowed it.

The one thing I always notice is that when Karen rudely demands service, the victim always calls her "ma'am". Calling her "ma'am" just reinforces their beliefs that they are talking to an employee.

I like the Happy Story at the end. All of your Karens described in these stories are just plain, rude people. I'm amazed they think they should even talk to a store employee like they do, let alone another customer in the store. The ones that smacked down deserved it.
The Home Depot story is a prime example of the axiom "Fuck around and find out".
The first story: I cannot even begin to tell you how I would have reacted if that woman got in my face. Theoretically, I would have backed up and told her to stay out of my space. If she had touched me, I would have probably pushed her back. If she would have ended up on her back, I would have told her to stay down there like the street walker that she is or if she would end up getting hurt.
If someone poke me in the chest like the first story there’s a really good chance they gonna walk away with a broke finger.
