I watched the video from my home at 4,5m (14 feet) below sea level somewhere between The Hague and Rotterdam.
    Rick is spot on!

Lovely. I've never been, usually trips to Europe to Spain to see family and we may squeeze one extra country. Looks like I need to plan to get beyond Amsterdam.

Gosh this was so interesting! Seems like countries other than the US are doing something to help their people live better under the climate change. The US could learn a lot. Thank you

Being Dutch, it is funny to see my native country from the perspective of foreign visitors. Still..... you've spoken about the Randstad. And there is much more to visit... Is there a possibility to show The Delta Works in Zeeland? It's an interesting story because this combination of dams protect the South-West of the Netherlands from Rotterdam to Tilburg to the Belgium border. You can enter the Haringvlietdam: walking in the dam itself. The museum Neeltje Jans explains the whole history of The Delta Works.
In the province of Friesland we've got the Eisen Eisingamuseum: one of the first planetariums of Europe. It still works like a huge clockwork and is acurate up today. Imagine the ceiling of your bedroom being turned into the sky and see Mercury and Jupiter turning around the Sun. This small museum is in Franeker.
Have fun when being in The Netherlands🙂

When I bought a train ticket from Liverpool Street to Amsterdam (via Harwich and Hook of Holland) I found that the ticket allowed me to go anywhere in the Netherlands so, as the event I was attending in Amsterdam finished at noon, I was able to stop off at three different towns on the way back to Hoek - Haarlem, Leiden and Delft, have an hour in each, and still have plenty of time to catch the ferry back to Harwich.

I watched The Beyond Amsterdam video already a several dozen times and i also shared it with so many foreigners (non Dutch), because i think it's the best introduction video to the Netherlands! 🥰👌🏼
It's really great to hear and see what happened behind the scenes!👍🏻
Oh yeah, you spelled Scheveningen wrong, but i think you already know that, because you just said it right! 😁
And to translate De Grote Kerk, i think it's better to say The Big Church, instead of The Great, otherwise it would be De Grootse Kerk or De Geweldig Kerk, because Grote means Big or Large! For example, de grote boom = the big or large tree!
By the way, in the video you didn't eat the Pickles with raw Herring, only the Onions! 🤢🤪
Which one did you drink, the Young or the Old Jenever? 😋
    Eet smakelijk en proost! 🐟🍸
And thank you so much, i enjoy it every time!✌🏼

Yummm!!! Stroopwafels are delicious!!! I just freeze dried a few of them. They puff up and are airy and delicate. 😃
