She was a beautiful dancer. It's a little sad that she decided not to dance anymore but I wish her well in all her future endeavors.

Absolutely beautiful to watch. Her extension and expression is exquisite. Her timing is right on. It has been a pleasure following Miko for the past several years and see her mature into a beautiful young woman. Keep dancing.

Miko, you're a beautiful dancer and I believe the potential you have is enormous ~ I have been constantly supporting you since I first watched you in "First Position".
I've been wondering though, why aren't you attending the big four ~ namely the Vaganova Ballet Academy, Paris Opera Ballet, the Royal Ballet or the Bolshoi?
Or other similarly reputable ones such as the American Ballet School, New York City Ballet School or the San Francisco Ballet School etc.?
Don't get me wrong, I think your teachers have done a wonderful job, and you're obviously a hard worker, but I think you can achieve so much more ~ especially when it comes to the "feel" and character of a particular ballet ~ they're all so contrasting from each other ~ you don't wear the same expression for each .
You're born to be a ballerina, but you can tell if a ballerina has been trained at these schools or not from the videos.
That said, you've come a long way since you were first featured in "First Position".
You have great artistry. You have a very sweet personality and this clearly shines through, not just in your dancing, but off-stage as well.
Miko has been to many of their summer intensives (I think either Bolshoi or Vaganova), but she does not attend SFB. Her studio has done her fantastic things, so I don't think she needs to move as of now.
I understand where you're getting at that, but I'm not Miko so I'm not sure why she isn't at one of the larger academies either. :)
If I'm not wrong, she's currently training at the Indiana Ballet Conservatory? Do enlighten me if I'm not mistaken. :)

I think this variation of the Esmeralda dance is the best
if there was ever a Prima Ballerina, Miko is absolutely it! Her makeup of Swiss, English, and Japanese put her right on target for having the precision attributes to be a professional artist!

Is the Indiana Ballet Conservatory a world-class ballet training centre?
I don't know for sure.
All I know is that they use the Vaganova method for teaching.
I'm sure it's very good but it's not "famous" or highly commended like SAB, POB, VBA, etc.

На удивление неплохо, обычно зарубежные Эсмеральды уровень наших хореографических кружков в клубах. А тут неплохо, немного от музыки отстаёт и прыжок слабоват, а так -умничка.
🤔😂 А у вас в России остались клубы, а в них хореографические кружки???🙄 "И даже в области балета..." - с экранов и ю-тьюба вещает только ректор Вагановки, о себе великом и любимом... Он же поведал, что и филиал во Владивостоке благополучно приказал "долго жить"... А вы про клубы🤦. А конкретно эта балерина по сравнению с "великой выпускницей" Вагановки по фамилии Севенард - просто мега-уровень...🤷🤪
@@ОльгаГринштейн кому-то и кобыла невеста, а мадам сравнивает солистку Большого с корифейкой кордебалета. Ты сравни ещё русский балет с израильским. Сама небось пятую позицию от четвертой не отличишь, а шанжманы от антраша. Сравни ещё Терешкину, Крысанову, Захарову, да видно ничего не выйдет, кроме хасидских плясок ничего и не видела. А по поводу кружков, клубов, так ты узнай откуда приезжают и где занимались поступающие в наши академии и колледжи. Кстати, а у вас есть студии хореографии?
