Good energy. I was hyped because you were hyped. I am very interested in all the down hill gear. It is so different that every else I skate. I want to build a setup but I want to get it right. I like to say, i am too cheap to buy cheap. Meaning I like to buy nice so I don't have to buy again too soon. I did bomb a hill the other day on a 1978 G&S Fibreflex Teamrider with a original a HPG Split axle front truck with an OG tracker Half Track in the rear with first generation Kryptonic wheels. It was a good time. Ohh and it had Rad Pads in it. I guess that is a spoiler alert but no one here is watching my channel 😂😂😂. Stay Rad Sir.
@@Benni3e I have started. Put up a video with my first 3 days of honest learning. Recently went to Ashville for an outlaw event and learned a lot from them (upcoming video)
Toe spacers are the way. Work up to wearing them all day with shoes. Your entire body will feel better. Also, Splay shoes make a great wide toe box shoe that works well for skating. Canvas body, gum sole, and pretty affordable.
Relax…where you going…hahaha. All good fun. I never watch unboxing, but you made it fun-thank you. Had to pause mid video to check out the Becker grip soles. Always enjoy your vids for continuous learning…and of course I got some soles, and more. 😆 Look forward to your vids on e-board, wheels, trucks. 🤘
Tried toe spacers before and all they did for me was push my small toes to the side while my big toe still stayed the same. Hope they work better for you. Barefoot shoes are great, I have several. Wish there were more options that keep the wide toe box but have thicker soles. Your first reaction to that electric skateboard (“heavy”) is something I’ve been hoping the eskate industry does something about but they just keep making boards heavier. Yours is about 8 kg, which believe it or not is more on the light side by today’s standards.
I agree with you, the ones I got are so sock like. I don't mind but I want a skate type shoe ... It's only 8kg? Damn I really am weak ... It's not bad when riding around, not crazy noticable but only when carrying around does it suck loads
I’ve been all about wide toe-box shoes and toe socks for a couple of years now. I can’t go back to normal shoes. I wear Lems Chillums for general skating and Xero (Prio) for LDP
Super exciting products! I just got the "analog" Bustin Shrike a couple months ago and it is super fun. Excited to see more reviews and stuff from ya :)
so excited for you to try the electric! it definitely is not a push board but a wonderful animal of its own. its also a great way to get first time skaters to point down a hill with more confidence.
*Whoaa the Caliber inserts* 🤩 Where can we get them? 👀 got a link?? The Rogues look so good 🤩 Electric skateboard!! 🔥 You're in the eBoard game now 😁 Will be interestin to hear your thoughts, with your downhill experience/background!
@@downhill254skate thank you bro! i cut a spare caliber Blood Orange plug bushing a few weeks ago cos I needed a barrel for a different truck, kept the "ring" but had to sand it down a bit 😂 will check the site out, appreciate it! Merry xmas man 🤙🏼
