I have the same product on my 2018 F-150 but the black matt color, unfortunately the plastic is disintegrating and breaking down due to Florida’s sun and rain. I may have to remove them as they’re starting to look old and ugly.

I didn't know this was a thing. My wife says all the chrome on the truck makes it look like an old mans truck HAHA. This was my biggest concern was what to do about the bumpers. Looks good!
i have some black 750 paracord wrapped around my chrome tow hooks, if you wrap it neat & tight it’ll hide all the chrome & bonus for always having paracord for camping/emergencies etc. little ghetto but i like it 👍🏼

You leave the front plate off just in case you actually want the already very inefficient intercooler to actually get air. Your truck looks good. I blacked my 2016 out long time ago but had less to do, my bumpers were already paint matched. My grille was black but I installed the same gloss grill as you.

I found a center piece insert I'm going to replace the OEM one with too. Did my handles and badges today. Are there covers for rear bumper like the front? Thanks.

I can’t tell for sure in the video, but it looks like you have the tuxedo black paint with the metallic look to it? Did the gloss black covers clash at all with the rest of the pick up?

Those covers look great! I got the Onyx edition Subaru Ascent ordered, and there is a chrome piece that runs through the middle of the trunk hatch. Was planning on just using vinyl, but those covers with tape might be a better option if they're available.

I changed the front bumper over to an OEM paint match bumper since this video. But I am still running the shells on the rear bumper. Holding up well and look like new still.
Go for it brother! It's not only a great way to help others along in their journey, but it's a great way to look back on how far the project has gone. Also a great selling tool as potential buyers can see the history of your ownership.
I’m not sure what you paid but I paid 900 for both the front and rear bumpers combined and that was paint matched and installed. Definitely worth just buying brand new bumpers.

10 months later. I decided to get a matte grill, matte middle section of bumper. Then gloss corners for the front and rear bumper. Should look good.

yes the paint code is tuxedo black. It doesn't clash since it flows with the bumpers nicely.

I don’t believe so. I just used some vinyl. Very easy piece to wrap!

How does it hold up in a car wash? Do the brushes scratch the surface?
I hand wash my cars so I wouldn’t know how it holds up to an actual car wash. But so far, they are holding up well.

Definitely worth it. I showed how much was visible. Not much at all and I don’t even notice it at all.

Holding up well. Just plastic so you want to wash just like you would paint.
Wish they had these for the 2021 MY.
I’m sure they will come out with something for the newer gen’s.

It was around 250 for the bumper pieces and another 70 or so for the handles.
