you can play the French or Caro kann, a lot more dynamic to play got to 1600 playing the French and the Caro kann is slightly different but similar ideas
Play the Scandinavian if you're too concerned about your next few moves in the opening because the move orders in the Scandinavian are pretty straightforward
@@muhammedga7303 Cmon guys, my question is about his repertoire, i am higher rated and i found that Pirc is not for beginners, hence the question. Like why do you play this hard stuff. Also 14:44 45% winrate is ok-ish with black but sertainly not very good.
@@muhammedga7303 No idea. I am very lazy at studying and the database in my head is not very big. First i played e5 hoping for Stafford but most people decline it, and i kinda dislike Italian, next i played Owen but it's not very good for my style, i like when i have attacking opportunities and Owen is too risky for that. I kinda wanted Caro-Kann but then i realised most "road 2k" youtubers i watch are Caro players and it's not fun seeing the same stuff all the time. So now i learned some Pirc but every game is a torture. It feels better than Owen tho. So this is my story vs e4 in the last 3 years :) I think every player should find something that he likes, knows and it's successful. I love King's gambit for example and my winrate is pretty high there.
bishop takes f7 is not a brilliant move because it gives you a massive center with tempo, which u didn't take
What happened to cornered chess really like watching his videos ?
Bro was hanging rooks
I was worried you did not upload earlier
I just started playing Pirc. God this is tough, so much work required for every win. Do you have any other openings against e4 in your repertoire?

@@williamblake7386 I see. What do you recommend for a player of his rating? Maybe going for an e4 e5 and adapting to what his opponents play?
