Sounds great! I just ordered a 1975 MIJ Alvarez 5021 , very similar to what you’re playing there. Beautiful sounding guitar, I’m definitely excited now! Thanks for the great demo bro!! You got the mojo 😎🤘🏼

Appreciate it! A lot of haters out there that think you need to be a professional musician to demo a guitar. Been playing since 97 and love to jam with others on acoustic. I plateaued years ago, so I am trying to learn new skills as often as I can. Thanks for watching and keep on jammin!

@@briansuniqueguitars right on bro! I just got back into playing last winter so I’m nothing special myself , I just enjoy it all !! Been buying cheaper guitars and modding them out for a hobby at home

I also have this guitar. Purchased around 1976, I think. Date also faded away on mine. Still sounds very good. Enjoyed your video

I’ve just found one of these on eBay. The label had been torn out so the seller didn’t know the number! The perfect partner to my Alvarez 5064 6 string. Arriving Wednesday 👍

Go Pokes! I recently acquired an Alvarez 5054 from a pawnshop here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Tom from St. Louis Music estimated mid 80s from the serial number. This is a beast, very solid. Do you know what original guitar this was modeled after? I'm guessing it's Sitka or similiar and mahogany woods?

That’s cool that you found one in Tulsa. Not sure if it is copying a model, but it has rosewood back and sides. So, more of a D-28 12 string copy.
