    A little spray of PB Blaster, Liquid Wrench or similar products world help. Apply previous day or longer for a good soak. You can also make up your own product with motor oil 10-20% cut by kerosene 80-90%. Old school stuff. You can use old motor oil vs new oil as it has carbon and metal fines to aid in the process. I’ve used heat like you do if all else fails.

    How does it handle on highway going 70 with track & sway removed? How about on turns going 60-70?

    • @JeepSheepTV
      @JeepSheepTV  5 лет назад +7

      It handles excellent on the highway. The leaf springs do a great job keeping the vehicle under control on their own. If you have springs that are not as stiff as mine or if you are lifted higher than me then a sway bar might be a good Idea. Highway turns are so gradual that I haven't had any issues. Where I live everone drives 80mph minimum and when I can keep up I do just fine maintaining control of the vehicle. One important thing to note is make sure your ball joints, steering linkages, steering box, and steering stabilizer are in good shape. Those things really dictate how well you can control the jeep and when they go bad. Things get dangerous very fast.

    My yj. Has the track bar removed in the rear, I'm thinking of removing the front track bar and sway bar.. my jeep has a 4" rough country lift... whats your thoughts?
    And I daily this jeep

      @JeepSheepTV  3 года назад +1

      I'm not sure. I only have 1.5" of lift. I say try it but be ready to put it back of needed. Maybe in your case you want to keep the sway bar.

      Yea, realized that I said it wrong after the fact. You could play a fun game and try to find all the times I mess that stuff up... you will probably find quite a few. But we are all here to learn! Even the goof on camera...

      This has been on my list for awhile. Finally got the HUGE TORX bits and did it today. HOLY MACKEREL!!! This solved all my problems!! Dang Jeep was STIFF!! I thought it needed an alignment, more caster on front axle, and on and on.. removing that totally useless trac bar made this Jeep a joy to drive. I took at test ride and was gone 2-1/2 hours!! It may not gain any horsepower, but it sure makes it so ANY speed is more comfortable and enjoyable!!
