Hey, I don't have any video of the cribs. But I initially found them using a basic depth finder. No imaging. I trolled around the areas on the maps (linked below the vid), and took a few drifts. You look for where it goes from 9'-12' suddenly up to 4'. That's definitely a crib. Takes time, but they're big at Arthur. 4-5' high. Usually spaced at least 30 to 40 feet apart to cover a 50 yard area, or so.
But casting right over the cribs matters mainly in spring, when nice fish are right on top of the cribs. Otherwise, the bigger fish are hovering around the cribs, somewhere in the 20 yard perimeter, looking to pick off the shad, perch or gills that wanter too far from the cribs. So trolling or casting in the general area can get it done. Thanks for watching!
