Hi Sherine, Thank you for sharing this video! I really enjoyed it. I have a couple of questions that I hope you might be able to answer. Firstly, is it possible to transmit text from a PC or mobile to the machine, using the fonts that are default on the machine? Additionally, do you know if it's feasible to embroider a small fabric backpack? Your insights would be greatly appreciated!
Hi Jordy, Thanks for the comment and questions. Great to hear you enjoyed the video😀 As far as text goes.... It is not possible to import text fonts that are not pre-digitized. 1. You can only bring in fonts that are already digitized. So, for example if you purchase a collection from an embroidery site, you can use the Brother Design Database transfer program to open the collection, and then send the individual letters you need through to the machine wirelessly, and once you have the letters you require, you an group them and arrange them as required. OR you can put the collection onto a USB stick and put that in the machine and open the letters you require individually, and then arrange them as you want once you have all the letters you require. 2. The other option is to use digitizing software and use any font you like, then create your words, save them, then open them in Brother Design Database Transfer and send them wirelessly to the machine - or put them on a USB stick that will go into the machine. 3. If you do not have digitizing software, I have set of Video lessons on the FREE My Editor program, where you can import collections of pre-digitized fonts, create entire words, arrange them as you like in the program, and then send the whole word to the machine. This is the quicker easier way. Here is a link to the video lessons and the link to download the free program. www.sewandcraftstepbystep.com/product/my-editor-program-video-lessons/ As far as embroidering on a small back pack goes - depending on where you want to embroider on it - and as long as that area will fit onto a hoop ( not necessarily in the hoop) then you can. I do also have a set of Video lessons that you might find helpful. "Machine Embroidery Video lessons" that cover a range of hints and tips for embroidery which includes embroidering on ready made items. Hello, Yes, I apologize... this machine can only take 150 x150 - not 200 x 200. You can also download the Brother Mobile Support App to double check on all the accessories your machine can use. Here is a link. ruclips.net/video/VkyQaJwdtn8/видео.html Kind Regards, Sherine Haines
Hello I just saw you’re video and I went and am buying a desk top because I have a brother SE725 which says I need a pc to transfer embroidery patterns , I’m very new to this but have not known how I could use my iPhone or my iPad tablet 8th gen. I would like to find an adapter to be able to do this so I can return this computer that I will probably never use. Please help. Thank you
Hi, As far as I am aware, you do need a PC to use the Brother Design Database transfer program. I do not own any of your devices you mention - so I am not able to test it. But try to download the app onto them following the instructions that they show for how to access the design database transfer program for the PC, from this link. support.brother.com/g/s/hf/pcapp_info/ddt/en/index.html?prod=WLAN&media=i_txt If it won't work - then it does mean you can only use the PC. I hope this is helpful. Kind Regards, Sherine

Yes, there is a function ; before starting to embroider, press the button with 3 spools in the embroidery setting screen to rearrange the embroidery order and sort it by thread color. It is page 46 of the manual.

I was winding my bobbin and the cotton got stuck under the winder. This is my second time using this machine...how do I remove the cotton underneath the winder😢 I'm using brother nv880e
Hi, Thanks for the comment. If the thread is winding under the bobbin - then it means the bobbin has not been put onto the winder correctly. There is a slot in the bobbin that must go over the spring on the bobbin winder. I have a set of step-by-step video lessons that explains all of the important things you need to know about the machine. They whole set of lessons costs less than just one face to face lesson. You can find them by clicking on this link here. guides.sewandcraft-courses.com/nv880e-video-lessons-4900 I hope this is helpful. Have a great day! Kind Regards, Sherine Haines
Hi, Yes I can. Looking at the front of the machine the length (with the embroidery unit on) it is 69,5cm The width is 41,5 cm, but you need to allow extra space on your workspace because the embroidery arm needs to be able to move freely. If you would like a photograph of these dimensions, email me at info@sewandcraftstepbystep.com and I will email it to you. Kind regards, Sherine
Great explanation in an accent I love! ❤
Thank you! 😃
