I had a chance to catch Rodney Dangerfield's act in Las Vegas.. I was laughing at a joke, and he was already 5 more jokes out in his act. He didn't use a single curse word in his act, but man oh man, he never ran out of double entenders.

The only one I renember as a kid was " I get no respect. I walked into a psychiatrist's office. I said Doc, no one listens to me. The doctor said, NEXT!" That always cracks me up.

Mr.Bean "Invisible Drums" And Clint Eastwood, nothing funny about that guy and now you have done the "King Of One Liners". Nobody has as many ready or is as fast with his delivery. That Face Is legendary.

Check out the movie "Back to School". Rodney sitting in the hot tub with a couple young coeds and asks one, what she's studying. When she says English literature he says , maybe you could come over later and help me straighten out my Longfellow. 😂
One liner comics like Dangerfield are a rarity today. Probably the closest are Steven Wright and Mitch Hedberg.
If you haven’t listened to Bob Newhart’s first album, “The Buttoned Down Mind of Bob Newhart” you absolutely have to. This COMEDY album was so amazing it actually knocked The Beatles off number 1….a comedy album!!!

Rodney is the perfect example of not ever being politically correct.
Rodney was a very funny man. Another great comedian is Sam Kinison. His routine on "Marriage and World Hunger" is hilarious and he has a very unique delivery style! definitely recommend Sam.

Just before Rodney died he was with Howard Stearn and said he has avoided doing political or religious jokes, BUT he has been an Atheist for the past 50 years and smoked Cannabis nearly everyday for the same time.... My kind of guy.
Rodney did some great movies and TV shows too. I hope y'all find the time...
