Good video! Thanks for including both the good and bad examples so it can clearly be seen how the good examples are inspiring as a vision statement should be.
@@berndgeropp-d Hi Bernd, thank you for taking the time to answer. A lot of first here :). I know you might be busy, but I was wondering, would you accept to take a look to my statement, I watched your video 5x really inspired and guided a lot? My email is sarah@ls2.ca
I'm a little stuck with a vision statement. I do entertainment (something close to audio drama), which doesn't really solve any meaningful problems. How would I go about making a vision statement when it doesn't really matter if my company (or the stories we tell) exists or not?
Well, if you offer entertainment which emotionally moves people, that does really matter. A vision example from this are is: “To make people happy” which was Walt Disneys vision. This statement is a little bit to broad for a really good vision - at least in my opinion - but it represents the overall goal and global direction of Disneys business. Maybe you could think a little bit more about your ideal customer and how you want him or her to be moved or influenced with your audio drama. Another way to find your vision maybe found in your personal past. Why did you start to build the company and why does your audio dramas and your stories matter for you? Maybe if you think into these direction it will help you to find your true vision. I wish you all the best on your way and with your business Bernd
@@BerndGeropp How great to are you offer a complete, well thought out, and valuable response to a comment. Also, great video. Your intensity is fantastic.
Can my business vision statement get to be : "To be the core of technology and digital marketing worldwide, to inspire and pave brighter future for everyone." ??
Thanks for your question. In my view your statement already goes into the right direction, but it sounds too general. The question which comes up on my mind is: "What exactly does inspire and pave brighter future for everyone mean?"
