    Interesting there's a morning train and afternoon train (same train of course) i asked this question where is it during the day in the siding of course that someone who explained to me😀

      They have to go somewhere when not required. This is one of a number of places. 👍😀

    Do you know ahead of time that you will going into No 2 road or do you just follow the points that get set for it?

      @@cabbagepatch8947 that set of points are hand operated. The driver must ensure they are set for number 2 road and change them if they are not. 👍😀

    So you park the train there, now you're one and a half stations away from Southern Cross... and you're expected to walk back or something? Or are you expected to sit there all day and wait for it to be needed again?

      North Melbourne station is not far away. We can catch a train back or request a car if we are short of time for the next move we have to do. 👍😀

    Is Arden Street Sidings is use for V/Line Trains or Metro Trains.?

    Did not know Metrol is controlling Arden St Yard

      They control the main line in that area. As such, it is Metrol we need to talk to for access into and out of the siding. 👍😀

    Genuine question, what happens if a train passes a red light?

      @@ExzoXV the driver is replaced and an investigation starts up to determine if it was a driver error or some other problem that caused it. 👍😀

      @@driver667do they use both sidings seen here? I know A66 and its H set used it between peaks before it was retired from VLP service a few years back. Given how rusty that track is, I’d say it isn’t.
