Very glad I can help and thank you for the nice comments. This video on Google Jamboard might also be really useful www.teachertrainingvideos.com/training_google_jamboard
The sharing stage was what I needed to really understand. Thank you for the awesome tutorials. But which is more practical, Padlet or Google Docs for online work?
Thank you! Trying to find a way to use something similar for use during a virtual training for special education teachers. How might this be used with a large group of people? Any way to have multiple people respond to a multiple choice question? Trying to make an online training interactive & not permitted to use polls or surveys. Your content is GREAT!
Hi Russel, thanks for helping here. I am developing Short Learning Programmes and need these online teaching platforms. What I will be further interesting in to learn is online assessments. Perhaps any advice?
I like the simple assessment tools in Edmodo, which is a free teaching platform and I like the way you can give the feedback when using the assessment tools. You might want to look at some of my videos on Edmodo. www.teachertrainingvideos.com/edmodo-moodle/introduction-to-edmodo
It's very helpful. Thank you for your time and efforts. Do you know by chance how to organize the work on google docs anonymously? For example, peer review or some group comments. Is it possible to code the names? Thanks
Thanks for another great, useful video! One question: when you only want one person from each group to write on the document, how to you ensure that that happens. Is there a way to share the link to just one person in each group if you don't know their email addresses?
That would be tricky. The best way is through the email address. You can only share the document with specific people. If you were using something like Edmodo, I guess you could share it with the specific people that way. Are you using a VLE?
@@ttvRussell Hi Russell, love your videos. How do I take the background out using a green screen when I'm adding a video of myself to my powerpoint using camtasia
This is a great place for me to start using Google Docs. Thanks, Russell!
Nancy, glad it was useful
Interesting and informative source
I LOVE the idea of adding a visual onto Google doc and then a table for student/s to add comments. 8m going to do this in my one to one EFL class!!
A great idea and good luck. More on Google Docs here:ruclips.net/p/PLqYj2sOxDkVwZXr15Cb6gm0lJ4sRcWdqt

Google is FREE...Padlet is really a paid tool if you are planning to use it lot but if you are happy to pay then Padlet offers many more options.
Thanks Russell....great tips and fantastic training

can share the link through any messenger app?
I believe so..
Russell....I want to make live chat without background...how can I do this.thanks
You can't really do that. I take out the background by using green screen. Not really possible in live chat as far as I know.
