Thank you very much for this video, Russell. I've found it extremely useful, with no less value of your other videos. Much grateful to you for your help. All the best, ever.
The video was very informative and there was a lot that was inculcated. From the point of view of a student who is experiencing classes online, I certainly think and really recommend to every teacher that is conducting online classes these days to watch the video and learn something out of it.

Russell, I like your videos very much. But I have a couple of questions for you. 1. I would like to know how you include the animation in you videos and the arrow that comes when you are doing the talking to emphasize the point. 2. In Moodle, I would like to know how you include navigation bar on top of Moodle page with a logo and how can I include portal on navigation bar. 3. How do l link my moodle installed on Localhost to any website. 4. kindly show me how to integrate teaching tools you use into Moodle
Hi Monday. Whenever I record these videos, I use Techsmith Camtasia to record both my webcam and the desktop / screen. The animations and annotations come with Camtasia, so I add these after I have done the basic recording. I can't remember exactly which Moodle tutorial I explain this, but have a look at these videos on Moodle and if you are still stuck then comment again. Reply to this comment and I will get back to you. bit.ly/2Wrqkq6
Awesome , useful video . Would you please write the links of the imp.sites you used in the video it would be helpful. Thanks for sharing your experience. 🌹🌹
More coursebooks have an e-book or digital version. It would depend, to some degree, on whether you are working in an institution who has access to these. For an individual, private tutor this might be expensive. But with online teaching, this are great time savers. But they do cost. In the example at the end of this video I use one that I have access to.
Hello Russell and all the community here, I love all the flipped classroom concept and I'm trying so hard to help my students who are learning English but I'm struggling since my school has stuck to only using Google Meet for virtual meetings and I don't know how to make my students work in small groups and most importantly I'm struggling trying to find ways to make them practice their speaking skills during our virtual meetings. I hope someone can give me some useful advice.
It is fine. As long as you are using it for educational reasons and not trying to make money off it. I can't really see that it is a big problem. Strictly speaking you should ask for permission but of course most people don't
@@ttvRussell I was wondering if you can use this resource to use other articles. It looked like the resource only had select articles. Is there a way to use different sources of text or copy and paste text to use this activity.
The concept of flipped learning is blending basically between online and F2F classes. Several studies and researchers focused on that aspect and giving reasons for that. They favored FLC to pure online or blended since it requires the physical attendance because studies showed that students crave physical interactions. In this video ( which is great) I cannot see but e-learning and the teacher is assigning a h.w and moves on based in blooms and shy collaborative acitivities online. where is flipped classroom here? Please reply
Hi Soha. I only briefly dealt with the theory of flipped learning and the flipped classroom, which I use interchangeably in the first four minutes of this video. It's an organisation of learning, not a theory, as I stated. I broaden this to teaching online with examples after that. Thanks for these great ideas! Do you know of any similar kind of websites for learners of Spanish?
Dan, not really. I am a Spanish speaker but these days tend to engage with native based stuff. Sorry I cant be of help

Can flipped classroom teaching be used in primary grades? If yes, what things should be kept in mind?
I can't really answer this question as I don't teach that level but I do know teachers who do it. Sorry I can't be more help

How to assess My students? Online teaching is very wonderful but the system of assessment should be in our consderation
Fair point, It is just a few ideas. I am a big fan of E-portfolios
What course book are you talking about?
Not sure. At that point in the video I wasn't really talking about a course book. Unless it comes at another part of the video. I can't recall, sorry.
