Hello Ms. Courtney, really enjoyed your video. I am currently back in school for a Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc), with a focus on medical education. My professor has us learning about the functionality of Google Suite. Of the videos that I have watched so far, yours is the most informative. It provides practical information and has me motivated to try creating a course for my current students (3rd & 4th year medical students, Physician Assistant & Nurse practitioner students) in addition to my DMSc work. I am especially interested in integrating Forms during the slides presentation to reinforce key learning points. Great job highlighting the key features of these tool. Thanks, Mike
Very Nice video with great and valuable information ,so I have subscribed your RUclips channel I like it. all the content in the video. once again thank You so much for uploading video.
Thank you so much Courtney so helpful! I've already got my courses on kajabi which I am coming away from, too expensive and too complicated to use I feel. Can I upload my already recorded videos in zoom into the modules as well?
Thank you for the great video explaining all of this. I've got a quick question. Do you know if we can prevent the students from downloading the videos uploaded to a folder on Google Drive?
Hello! Great question - we host all of our videos on Vimeo (and we know some people host them on RUclips or course sites with native hosting like Teachable or Thinkific). And with Vimeo and RUclips, you can share or embed unlisted links and on those sites, unless people really want to screen record or find other ways to do so, they can't download the videos from those host sites. There will likely be people who will steal your work (unfortunately), but we honestly hardly ever run into this and we've had thousands of students come through our courses. Hope this helps! - Joanna | Team CFD
Great content...very insightful. Thank you. Would it possible to have a page interface for the course (user friendly) once shared? so students can see clearly the course content and choose what tab to click on?
Thanks for watching! Yes, we highly recommend hosting on Thinkific, Teachable, or MemberVault. These are great, user-friendly, and affordable options to host your course! Hope this helps :) - Joanna | Team CFD
Hi Jay! In the video, Courtney describes how she organizes her courses with her online courses, but we definitely recommend a course platform. You want to be able to password protect your info and use something with an official payment processing system. We love Membervault which is free for its first 100 members and we also recommend Thinkable or Thinkific. And of course, Ontraport and Kajabi are great all-in-ones (it's a CRM, can host your courses, can run payment, etc). Hope this helps! - Joanna | Team CFD
Hi Lia Marie, great question! G Suite is a free tool to create, organize, and host documents, files, spreadsheets, and more. Google Classroom is more for classroom teachers to host and help grade assignments - it looks like it may be a new creation for more digital learning in this new reality we find ourselves in. It's still a similar hosting company, but geared more towards schoolteachers, it appears (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google_Classroom). We still recommend G Suite for organizing your courses. G Suite also has a great paid option for business owners that can incorporate your unique domain. Lots of great options for a business owner! Hope this helps :) - Joanna | Team CFD
@@TheCourtneyShow I am creating and selling my courses on coursera and udemy. And I was trying to make my own platform where I do not need to be dependent on third party. So it is possible to charge course fees using the method you showed in this video ?
@@technicalamanullah7019 Unfortunately, you cannot charge fees and we don't recommend hosting via Google Drive. For her courses, Courtney built on a self-hosted WordPress website with the Divi theme. The membership plug-in is called AccessAlly. She uses Vimeo for her video hosting, and the whole integration is powered by her CRM, Ontraport. But, Teachable and Thinkific make course hosting so easy and affordable these days. We highly recommend those two hosts as well! - Joanna | Team CFD

Can you do everything for an online course with G suite? No need to go find a platform or use udemy? How do you collect payment from students? PayPal?

this feels like a tutorial on g-suite, the main topic0 using to make a tutorial is rather absent... not helpful to really create a course...
