    Tony this is beautiful! I've done aging with an airbrush and dye and even cotton balls, but I'm going to switch over to this method. So beautiful!

      Did this method work for you ? I looked up is candle wax ok to darken Leather and their isn’t a good or bad comment so lol 😂

      Yah it worked well for me on vegtan. I use tea candles containing paraffin wax. I did get a cylinder for my drill to use with the felt because it was just taking too long with the felt by itself.
      But it still works. It won't work on chrome tanned or oil tanned leather though.

    Fantastic, I didn't have to dye the belt I'm working on black bc your shared method burned it black making it soft and awesome. I'm unsure what kind of felt, how thick etc.

    Hey Tony ! Love the videos man, such a huge help. Getting ready to put the finish on my first belt and have a question. If I age this belt, won't the wax prevent me from adding a finish or neatsfoot oil ? Should I do so after I apply the die, before final finish ? Thanks so much.

      Always apply wax AFTER you do any dying, oiling etc.....

    Great method. I was wondering if you can use this technique with colored leather. I have an orange guitar strap, but give is a more vintage/faded look.

    Nicely done. Can't find that sort of felt pad anywhere. Got some adhesive pads for bottom of furniture will try that stuck to some foam.

      You can get 4" x 3" half inch thick, felt squeeges, from sign makers supply companies, such as Graffytype ( in UK ) hope this helps.

    I have blocks of paraffin wax that I found around the house, would that work? I ask because I have lots of it and I would like to use it for something. Can this be done to veg tanned leather after I dye it?
