I struggle with anger and bitterness. I literally plead and pray constantly for God to change me in this area. I have trouble controlling my emotions and it brings me great grief and sorrow when I fall and I hurt those around me. It’s something that The Lord has been working very deeply in me and I know He is working because I have changed and I have recognized it more and its gotten better, but I still really struggle at times. How come pastors like Todd don’t feel the same sorrow for my sin? I’m blessed to go to a church that preaches sin and doesn’t pander to one particular type of sin.
Btw I’m not saying I don’t sympathize with the homosexual. I can truly relate to the sorrow and pain you feel when you are pleading and praying for God to change your heart and desires and it doesn’t happen in an instant or as quickly as you want. Sancitification is truly a process and it’s painful. Seeing ourselves for our true sin nature Can be very painful but thank Jesus for His grace and mercy and his atonement and that we can place our burdens on Him. The Joy of the Lord is our strength! That's the thing. We all fall short, we all have struggles. We all must die to our flesh and take up our cross and follow Jesus when we choose Him. You are so right that even the struggle with anger and bitterness is sin that will send us to hell if we don't repent. That's the part I'm not hearing him say. It isn't clear to Mike Todd because he doesn't have the Holy Spirit helping him to interpret difficult passages like "You shall not lie with a man as with a woman; it is an abomination" or "homosexuals ... will not inherit the kingdom of God." If only God had written it with less ambiguity. Why couldn't God have spoken less cryptically when he said he made them "male and female" in the beginning? WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN????? This is what happens when an unregenerate man whose not been Born Again into the Kingdom stands up to preach God's Word without God. He's simply an Actor. Look at him. He wants to be on stage. When I watched this sermon and he got to this topic, I thought he was gonna really go in about marriage is suppose to be between a MAN & a WOMAN. This is a touchy subject but at the end of the day the truth is the truth and the Bible is the Bible and it will never change. I don’t think he should’ve even talked about that if he wasn’t gonna tell people the truth. You can love some of that community but still tell the truth and what the Bible says.

So far I hear his thoughts and feelings on homosexuality, he also said he has to put his will and thoughts under submission to God which is encourage trans/gay/lesbian people to get under submission to God's authority. When he says he doesn't know, he's trying to relate to homosexual people as much as possible, he understands they're genuinely confused. He's encouraging them to submit to God with all their confusion.
