I treat gay folks the same as I would a heroin addict. I love them, bless them, pray for them, and welcome them into my life wholeheartedly. What I won't do is take them to buy heroin, let them shoot up in my bathroom, or give them money to buy heroin. Loving people doesn't mean you agree with and support everything they do. Love says no. Love draws lines we are unwilling to cross. Too many people think loving someone means you have to give a thumbs up to their lifestyle. Jesus wouldn't do that, neither should we.
I feel you brother. The beginning of my walk with Christ I listened to Elevation and Transformation Church while I was dating the same sex. And let me tell you that I felt the love soo deeply with no judgement that then a months later after knowing who Jesus is and the way he loves us and the reason why we’re here, I felt conviction for the first time when I read the Bible when it talks about homosexuals not being able to enter the kingdom. I prayed to God that he would let my partner feel and understand what I felt because I wanted her to hear God for herself so she wouldn’t think I was trying to “convince” her. 2 days later God spoke to her… the same way & at that moment we became sisters and turned to our real first love, Jesus ❤ Love covers a multitude of sins. First we have to feel and understand the love of Jesus so it can transform us from the inside out. We can talk about the mistakes of leaders but if in the Spirit we know they are brothers and sisters, let’s not forget to talk out of love for them. Because I know God made encouragers in the family. Let’s point it out and encourage one another. I love you brothers and sisters! Keep the light on fire !
Whoa! You truly have known the Father's love! It is a transforming love! So full of grace and gentle ushering. satan had me fooled into thinking that God was so angry with me all of the time for my sin. That very thing kept me in shame and it was so painful. But then the hands and feet of Jesus in this world opened my eyes to the truth and God's word is truth. I grew up with having my mother in a homosexual relationship. So I don't hate gay people but God helped me to understand that it is sin and it is a disorder of His will but many do not understand why they are gay and that there is true hope in Christ for freedom.
I’m so glad that Jesus blessed you and gave you the baptism of repentance. Your testimony is authentic, but this person he’s speaking about is an imposter positioned to infiltrate (as he’s already done) and lead many astray. He has a foul spirit, as he’s not just a musician but a preacher of the word of God. We see throughout the Bible that wicked preachers are a tool of the devil. Musicians however have a different grace - they’re graced to bring sinners and saints to a place of worship and preparation for the King which is why you were ultimately delivered and preserved. Their gift is different. But ANYONE who’d PREACH another gospel, let him be accursed is what Ap. Paul says. I don’t think we should be as merciful about that.

Recovering Ex - Homosexual woman here!! Sometimes we don't need to know, sometimes in our pride we ask questions that we don't have the answer too, and we think we deserve an answer. As i was overcoming drug abuse and struggling/ grieving with not being able to stay In sin, i asked God over and over, " why can't I be gay?" "Why did you have to make it wrong to love?" "God, it doesn't make any sense!" And in my spirit he told me, "you don't need to know". WE DONT ALWAYS HAVE TO HAVE the answer to trust God, we just have to obey him and trust him. The thing about Pastor Mike Todd is that he appeals to Christians that are “coming back God” or even “new Christians.” (See Hebrews 5:12-13). Now in no way am I discrediting him but I believe he’s anointed to open the door for those who those who were in world and trying to get close to God. He helped me a lot when I came back to the LORD but I don’t listen to him much anymore. I believe he is important to the Body and pray that the LORD increases his anointing & keeps him in his calling to reach more people! 🙏🏾
Couldn’t agree more, when it comes to going out and making disciples, baptising people, honoring Pastors, Tithing, serving in the house of the Lord, forsaking worldly practices, this guy is no help to me at all. But he helped me come back to the Lord for sure

Marcus, it really is spiritual!!! I used to be part of the community before I got radically saved, and before I got saved, I ALWAYS used to twist the Bible to my advantage, and if anyone came against me I would be so ANGRY. Additionally, I was super supportive and always defended the community. But once I got saved, I sat down and said, "God, what does your word truly say?" And it was clear as day as to me, and feeling convicted in my spirit, I turned away from that sin and though I have been tempted, I can say that as of today, that attraction to women is GONE!! Thank you Jesus!! Honestly tho, I'm so guilty of watering down the truth to those who are part of the community. I've repented of that but it's so difficult cause like you said, there's always gonna be a riot, and the main argument is "I was born this way!!!" Which is why Jesus says we need to be born again. The most dangerous thing about people from my generation (I'm gen z) is the fact that we've started CLAIMING OUR DEMONS!!! I really admire your transparency and honesty. Many of us do manipulate the bible to suit ourselves. Watering down the gospel as well is another issue especially in the work place. I think one of the reasons we struggle is because we have soul ties/ relationships with people who indulge in certain sins so we have become so accepting and politically correct. BUT the fact is the bible is meant to offend. It is meant to act as a mirror showing us our true selves. Other people don't worry about offending us so that shouldn't be our priority. We already know we will be hated for Christ's name sake. If you're liked by everyone all the time it probably means we're not doing our job properly
@@Preacher123 Amen 🙏 I had a problem where people just harbored to me. Some of them know I’m a Christian, and I go by what the Bible says and spread the gospel. They always cling to me and want to talk to me. Even hardcore atheists and LGBT huge supporters want to talk to me. I’m supposed to be hated. Why are they clinging to me? Am I doing it wrong? But then God spoke to my heart that said I had an Anointing. Even before I was born God chose me. I grew up in the church, but my spirit was different. It’s like God was there Himself looking out for me. Even amongst my loved ones. I’ve also had people tell me (non-believers) that out of all Christians,I am the coolest and kindest one. I just listen try to see from their point of view. And they them the truth without sugarcoating it. Also my actions speak louder than words. I be helping people a lot and very trustworthy.

As someone who has been delivered from homosexuality, it’s very clear what God wants and expects from his bride. Romans 1:25-32 is the scripture that was shown to me by the Holy Spirit after I surrendered my whole life to God. It’s is truly all spiritual and every spirit is less than the Holy Spirit, so if people fall out of agreement with them and repent, they must leave!

In order to get delivered from Homosexuality (or any sin for that matter) you have to acknowledge before God that it is wrong. He will not empower you to overcome it until you repent and surrender to his Lordship. I was a fornicator. I loved someone who did not want to get married. I knew what God said in his Word but had backslidden. I decided to return to the Lord but still had issues in this area. One thing I have learned in my walk with God is "DO NOT RUN AWAY FROM GOD WHEN YOU FALL INTO SIN...RUN TO HIM!" I started seeking the Lord and asked him why it was wrong, because I loved this man. God did not answer me right away, but I continued to seek him and study his Word, then one day it happened. The Holy Spirit spoke to my spirit and said one word "Purchased." When he said that I knew the scripture he was referring to: Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 KJV From that point on, I knew what I had to do and got out of the relationship.

Some of us are just flat out ashamed of the Gospel so we offer our own form of "apologetics"! That's what God has been challenging me about!! It's hard to confront, but I'm going to face it with His loving help and get delivered!!
I used to love Mike Todd's way of preaching. He's actually one of the first Pastors I started listening to but the deeper I grew in Christ the more Christ convicted me about his messages. I listened to one of his messages one day and that was the final straw. I deleted him and unfollowed him and haven't really watched any full messages since. There have been a few things I have seen since from him that's confirmed what the Lord showed me.
I felt the same about Joyce Meyer lately. God used he alot in the beginning of my walk ,but over time he began pulling me away and started showing me things that were off in her most recent teaching over the past few years . God has lead me to more meat and his actually truth. Andrew Wommack, Joseph Prince are preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ... And they don't sugar coat it at all.

Mike Todd's crazy faith series was a true benchmark in my growth as a Christian. It's so sad to see him fall in faith. I pray that God reignites that burning passion for Jesus back in His life. But as I must say as a Christian, that none of us are perfect but we must continually seek the father for guidance and grace to live a life that's holy and acceptable unto Him

So true. Before my sister was saved, she was a fervant, left-leaning activist to the point that I wondered if she was mentally okay. She got saved and set on fire for God in 2020. She just sold her house and half of everything in it and is on her way across the country to a bible school to be an evangelist and missionary!

100% agree. There were some churches that I went to, and I got deliverance, the holy spirit was moving all in the church. And there were churches I went to and it was a regular church that you go to, nothing special about it. Well, I don't go to church anymore, not because I don't like churches. It's just because I found the way to have a true relationship with Christ. I am, however, seeking a church just to have my christian brothers and sisters to talk to and to worship the Lord with. To everyone listening, just seek God with all your hearts, open the bible, and read to learn what is true. And also pray daily. I have recently stopped listening to music and watching TV. I do, however, get on RUclips, but only to hear more about God. I have been strengthened in my faith. I haven't been doing this long. It has only been 2 weeks, and I have been strengthened, and it is so wonderful to find peace.

God opened my eyes on 1/3/23 after i chose to submit to him and Mike Todd will lead so many away because of that false statement. So many will lift up their eyes in hell because of pastors like this. Yes we are called to love but like you said God made things very clear in his word (something I avoided for so long) I’m forever grateful for my pastor, parents and other family members for never allowing me to be comfortable in my sin and the prayers of the righteous that led me back into Gods hands! Pastor Mike Todd made it sound like he doesn't fully agree with God's decision and that God is so hard on the people of that community. He threw God under the Bus! I liked the teaching until then. If we acknowledge our sin, God will be faithful to forgive our sin. The problem is some people refuse to accept what they are doing is sin and Pastors don't want to confront them .
That is the absolute truth. God loves the sinner but hates the sin because he sent his son to die on the cross to pay the penalty of all our past, current and future sins and now lives inside of us through the power of the Holy Spirit so we can live a righteous and holy life before him. Why? Because Jesus is coming back for a righteous and holy people and he says in his word that we are to be holy as he is holy. No sin is entering into the Kingdom of God and we must speak this truth boldly to anyone who has ears to hear. Jesus wants us to love the sinner but speak truth to the sin so he can set people free from the bondage of sin, death, hell and the grave. The sobering truth is some will listen and some will not, and God is going to allow each person to make their own decision. There will be no heel marks dragging any of us to heaven. God's Word says I have set life and death before you and I beg of you earnestly to choose life. (Deut 30:19)
I think with this guy he knows right and he knows what the word of God says he’s just afraid to say it in the way it needs to be said and how it should be said because he doesn’t want to offend, condemn or lose members so I believe he says if I blur the lines I’ll be good. I agree with you. I watch TC every week. This part of the sermon didn't sit well with my spirit either when I watched it. I was like no it is very clear. I understand wanting people to feel welcomed and accepted (esp as numbers continue to grow with the church being open again after being closed for 3 years), but that shouldn't come at the cost of speaking God's truth. The fact is, it doesn't matter what his opinion or feelings are about it; God's word is CLEAR. We all need to stand on that. Politically correct preaching is dangerous like you said because it breeds confusion. I do want to say, you have a photo of Pastor Charles on the cover of this video. Idk what he has to do with the sermon or if you're implying he's LGBTQ. Don't judge his appearance. He's happily married to his wife and has a beautiful family.

Preachers should preach the WHOLE truth… hurt us with the truth now because it will hurt way more to hear God say “I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!” (Matthew 7:21-23).

After watching this video, I read the comments to see if I would find anyone with a difference of opinion. I did not find any, unless those comments were deleted. As a Christian man who has been happily married to a man for the past five years, I felt the need to present my opinion. First, I'd like to commend Pastor Mike Todd for admitting to the complexity of the LGBTQ experience, particularly as it relates to the Bible and spirituality. There was great honesty and truth to his statement. While we may all be aware of what the Bible states about homosexuality, we are not all aware of God's sovereign plan that compensates for realities of the human experience. To Marcus, and many of you in the comments, I suggest that you focus your attention on the life and purpose of Jesus. His focus was on the love...The love we have for God and for each other. I guarantee you that none of us are in any position to call out others for what they are not doing right in the sight of God. Much less to criticize a man who is spreading the word of God to millions. I pray that we allow grace to abound, for it is needed more than we even realize, even for our sins that we cannot name.

I treat gay folks the same as I would a heroin addict. I love them, bless them, pray for them, and welcome them into my life wholeheartedly. What I won't do is take them to buy heroin, let them shoot up in my bathroom, or give them money to buy heroin. Loving people doesn't mean you agree with and support everything they do. Love says no. Love draws lines we are unwilling to cross. Too many people think loving someone means you have to give a thumbs up to their lifestyle. Jesus wouldn't do that, neither should we.

I feel you brother. The beginning of my walk with Christ I listened to Elevation and Transformation Church while I was dating the same sex. And let me tell you that I felt the love soo deeply with no judgement that then a months later after knowing who Jesus is and the way he loves us and the reason why we’re here, I felt conviction for the first time when I read the Bible when it talks about homosexuals not being able to enter the kingdom.
I prayed to God that he would let my partner feel and understand what I felt because I wanted her to hear God for herself so she wouldn’t think I was trying to “convince” her. 2 days later God spoke to her… the same way & at that moment we became sisters and turned to our real first love, Jesus ❤
Love covers a multitude of sins. First we have to feel and understand the love of Jesus so it can transform us from the inside out.
We can talk about the mistakes of leaders but if in the Spirit we know they are brothers and sisters, let’s not forget to talk out of love for them. Because I know God made encouragers in the family. Let’s point it out and encourage one another.

Whoa! You truly have known the Father's love! It is a transforming love! So full of grace and gentle ushering. satan had me fooled into thinking that God was so angry with me all of the time for my sin. That very thing kept me in shame and it was so painful. But then the hands and feet of Jesus in this world opened my eyes to the truth and God's word is truth. I grew up with having my mother in a homosexual relationship. Your testimony is authentic, but this person he’s speaking about is an imposter positioned to infiltrate (as he’s already done) and lead many astray. Recovering Ex - Homosexual woman here!! Sometimes we don't need to know, sometimes in our pride we ask questions that we don't have the answer too, and we think we deserve an answer. As i was overcoming drug abuse and struggling/ grieving with not being able to stay In sin, i asked God over and over, " why can't I be gay?" "Why did you have to make it wrong to love?" "God, it doesn't make any sense!" And in my spirit he told me, "you don't need to know". WE DONT ALWAYS HAVE TO HAVE the answer to trust God, we just have to obey him and trust him. The thing about Pastor Mike Todd is that he appeals to Christians that are “coming back God” or even “new Christians.” (See Hebrews 5:12-13). Now in no way am I discrediting him but I believe he’s anointed to open the door for those who those who were in world and trying to get close to God. He helped me a lot when I came back to the LORD but I don’t listen to him much anymore. I believe he is important to the Body and pray that the LORD increases his anointing & keeps him in his calling to reach more people! 🙏🏾

I used to be part of the community before I got radically saved, and before I got saved, I ALWAYS used to twist the Bible to my advantage, and if anyone came against me I would be so ANGRY. Additionally, I was super supportive and always defended the community. But once I got saved, I sat down and said, "God, what does your word truly say?" And it was clear as day as to me, and feeling convicted in my spirit, I turned away from that sin and though I have been tempted, I can say that as of today, that attraction to women is GONE!! Thank you Jesus!!
Honestly tho, I'm so guilty of watering down the truth to those who are part of the community. I've repented of that but it's so difficult cause like you said, there's always gonna be a riot, and the main argument is "I was born this way!!!" Which is why Jesus says we need to be born again.

I really admire your transparency and honesty. Many of us do manipulate the bible to suit ourselves. Watering down the gospel as well is another issue especially in the work place. I think one of the reasons we struggle is because we have soul ties/ relationships with people who indulge in certain sins so we have become so accepting and politically correct. BUT the fact is the bible is meant to offend. It is meant to act as a mirror showing us our true selves. Other people don't worry about offending us so that shouldn't be our priority.
We already know we will be hated for Christ's name sake. If you're liked by everyone all the time it probably means we're not doing our job properly

They always cling to me and want to talk to me. Even hardcore atheists and LGBT huge supporters want to talk to me. I’m supposed to be hated. Why are they clinging to me? Am I doing it wrong? But then God spoke to my heart that said I had an Anointing. Even before I was born God chose me. I grew up in the church, but my spirit was different. It’s like God was there Himself looking out for me. Even amongst my loved ones. I’ve also had people tell me (non-believers) that out of all Christians,I am the coolest and kindest one. I just listen try to see from their point of view. And they them the truth without sugarcoating it. Also my actions speak louder than words. I be helping people a lot and very trustworthy.

As someone who has been delivered from homosexuality, it’s very clear what God wants and expects from his bride. Romans 1:25-32 is the scripture that was shown to me by the Holy Spirit after I surrendered my whole life to God. It’s is truly all spiritual and every spirit is less than the Holy Spirit, so if people fall out of agreement with them and repent, they must leave!

In order to get delivered from Homosexuality (or any sin for that matter) you have to acknowledge before God that it is wrong. He will not empower you to overcome it until you repent and surrender to his Lordship.
I was a fornicator. I loved someone who did not want to get married. I knew what God said in his Word but had backslidden. I decided to return to the Lord but still had issues in this area. One thing I have learned in my walk with God is "DO NOT RUN AWAY FROM GOD WHEN YOU FALL INTO SIN...RUN TO HIM!"
I started seeking the Lord and asked him why it was wrong, because I loved this man. God did not answer me right away, but I continued to seek him and study his Word, then one day it happened. The Holy Spirit spoke to my spirit and said one word "Purchased." When he said that I knew the scripture he was referring to:

I used to love Mike Todd's way of preaching. He's actually one of the first Pastors I started listening to but the deeper I grew in Christ the more Christ convicted me about his messages. I listened to one of his messages one day and that was the final straw. I deleted him and unfollowed him and haven't really watched any full messages since. There have been a few things I have seen since from him that's confirmed what the Lord showed me.
I felt the same about Joyce Meyer lately. God used he alot in the beginning of my walk ,but over time he began pulling me away and started showing me things that were off in her most recent teaching over the past few years .
God has lead me to more meat and his actually truth. Andrew Wommack, Joseph Prince are preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ... And they don't sugar coat it at all.

Mike Todd's crazy faith series was a true benchmark in my growth as a Christian. It's so sad to see him fall in faith. I pray that God reignites that burning passion for Jesus back in His life. But as I must say as a Christian, that none of us are perfect but we must continually seek the father for guidance and grace to live a life that's holy and acceptable unto Him

100% agree. There were some churches that I went to, and I got deliverance, the holy spirit was moving all in the church. And there were churches I went to and it was a regular church that you go to, nothing special about it. Well, I don't go to church anymore, not because I don't like churches. It's just because I found the way to have a true relationship with Christ. I am, however, seeking a church just to have my christian brothers and sisters to talk to and to worship the Lord with. To everyone listening, just seek God with all your hearts, open the bible, and read to learn what is true. And also pray daily. I have recently stopped listening to music and watching TV. I do, however, get on RUclips, but only to hear more about God. I have been strengthened in my faith. I haven't been doing this long. It has only been 2 weeks, and I have been strengthened, and it is so wonderful to find peace.

I agree with you man of God. When a leader isn’t clear on things it opens doors for him or her to be influenced against the will of God. The Bible is crystal clear on how we need to live our lives and what we need to believe in.
I will admit that Mike Todd does have good messages but it’s just something about his teachings that makes me put my guard up spiritually.
I think the issue is he gets messages directly from God but assumes that every single thought of his is from God. There are some times in my thoughts i’ll think i got a personal word from God for my life but then it doesn’t match with scripture and i have to cast it down

as someone who was recently delivered from over 10 years of practicing homosexuality it saddens me to hear that come from a pastor. God opened my eyes on 1/3/23 after i chose to submit to him and Mike Todd will lead so many away because of that false statement. So many will lift up their eyes in hell because of pastors like this. Yes we are called to love but like you said God made things very clear in his word (something I avoided for so long) I’m forever grateful for my pastor, parents and other family members for never allowing me to be comfortable in my sin and the prayers of the righteous that led me back into Gods hands! He definitely need our prayer because he's consistent with it. I mean every quarter of the year I'm hearing about something Mike Todd has to apologize for or say "I know it wasn't right". I get a person trying grow in their walk with God and challenge tough topics with Him, but this man is supposed to be a shepherd and he has people that are like sheep and there has to be a process he goes through before he presents the message to people that'll show he's learned lessons from his previous struggles. If we acknowledge our sin, God will be faithful to forgive our sin. The problem is some people refuse to accept what they are doing is sin and Pastors don't want to confront them .

God loves the sinner but hates the sin because he sent his son to die on the cross to pay the penalty of all our past, current and future sins and now lives inside of us through the power of the Holy Spirit so we can live a righteous and holy life before him. Why? Because Jesus is coming back for a righteous and holy people and he says in his word that we are to be holy as he is holy. No sin is entering into the Kingdom of God and we must speak this truth boldly to anyone who has ears to hear. Jesus wants us to love the sinner but speak truth to the sin so he can set people free from the bondage of sin, death, hell and the grave. The sobering truth is some will listen and some will not, and God is going to allow each person to make their own decision. There will be no heel marks dragging any of us to heaven. God's Word says I have set life and death before you and I beg of you earnestly to choose life. (Deut 30:19)

I agree with you. I watch TC every week. This part of the sermon didn't sit well with my spirit either when I watched it. I was like no it is very clear. I understand wanting people to feel welcomed and accepted (esp as numbers continue to grow with the church being open again after being closed for 3 years), but that shouldn't come at the cost of speaking God's truth. The fact is, it doesn't matter what his opinion or feelings are about it; God's word is CLEAR. We all need to stand on that. Politically correct preaching is dangerous like you said because it breeds confusion. I do want to say, you have a photo of Pastor Charles on the cover of this video. Idk what he has to do with the sermon or if you're implying he's LGBTQ. Don't judge his appearance. He's happily married to his wife and has a beautiful family.

I was just about to speak on that. In the Bible it clearly states that there should be no question in regards to what is manly or masculine and what is feminine. Because we are living in the blurred lines and because a lot of things are considered acceptable we are now taking the aesthetics of the world and blending it in with the church and just because men have families and hiding behind that.

I agree with both of y’all. We should love that community despite how they choose to live their lives but we shouldn’t ever lie to them. God’s word does not change no matter what society says. Preachers should preach the WHOLE truth… hurt us with the truth now because it will hurt way more to hear God say “I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!” (Matthew 7:21-23).

After watching this video, I read the comments to see if I would find anyone with a difference of opinion. I did not find any, unless those comments were deleted. As a Christian man who has been happily married to a man for the past five years, I felt the need to present my opinion. First, I'd like to commend Pastor Mike Todd for admitting to the complexity of the LGBTQ experience, particularly as it relates to the Bible and spirituality. There was great honesty and truth to his statement. While we may all be aware of what the Bible states about homosexuality, we are not all aware of God's sovereign plan that compensates for realities of the human experience. To Marcus, and many of you in the comments, I suggest that you focus your attention on the life and purpose of Jesus. His focus was on the love...The love we have for God and for each other. I guarantee you that none of us are in any position to call out others for what they are not doing right in the sight of God. Much less to criticize a man who is spreading the word of God to millions. I pray that we allow grace to abound, for it is needed more than we even realize, even for our sins that we cannot name.
