Just reading my 'Digital Hereford Times' and saw a piece by Julia Baker re: The Great British Pub Crawl And Dale Harvey visiting 23 pubs in one day. I am from Hereford originally so found this very interesting and good for 'PUBlicity' for Hereford plus.the HT newspaper and RUclips both excellent news and information. Nick my lovely nieces hubby meets his mates in the Barrels in Hereford every Friday and loves it.
Hogarths used to be named the Hop Pole and in the Seventies and Eighties you could barely get through the door on a weekend. For a time was arguably the most popular pub in town.Great boozer once upon a time.
Lovely to welcome you to Hereford. You went to some great places and makes me appreciate the pubs we have. The Wetherspoons used to be a Kwik Save supermarket not a cinema and the place you thought was the Catherdral was All Saints Church. The Cathedral is just down from the Orange Tree. This is the first of your videos I’ve seen, will definitely be looking through your previous ones 😊
You'd like The Golden Wake distillery just over the river from the Black Lion. The Commercial is the pub you missed, another sister pub to The Brewers.
Wellington, another pub that was a great boozer beloved of football fans and fellas that loved a wager on the horses due to the proximity of a. bookies....oh,well.
