- Just got finished with my etune from derek robinson at innovativemotorworks and let me tell you he did and does an amazing job.

They say the 10 speed in mustangs hunts for gears and always tries to downshift when performance driving, so I'd say you did good. Manuals are also just plain better

@@kpelmao8754 yeah I wasn't talking about shifting speed, I was talking about gear selection. For full throttle, acceleration it does fine, but when not in track mode the gear selection while taking a corner per say will upshift to crushing gear too much. For spirited driving the manual is going to be better. Just a software thing, could easily be adjusted to suite performance driving. But the ecoboost mustang people don't care, not saying he bought an ecoboost, it's just that that is the most common option
@@colin_deans yeah it’s way more fun and you’re better connected to the car. The 10 speed is impressive but I’d rather stick to my manuals. And yeah I have a gt not an eco boost lol.
@@kpelmao8754 yeah that 10 speed is much quicker than the 6 speed’s for sure. But I personally would never buy another automatic car, too boring for me. Not hating on them, they’re very sophisticated and quick but nothing more fun than banging gears.

The accord V6 have always been a sleeper but this one is on another level since is turbocharged, also it actually sounds good for a 4 cylinder, I’m still not sure if I like it more than the 3.5 V6 I think that engine is a better and sounds better but if you want to get more power out of your car and modify it, get the 2.0T 10 speed is the ultimate sleeper

@@HondaAccordPerformance working on getting her track ready still some things I got to do. Getting bad wheel hop at the track and goes to 10th gear in manual in mode and then it throws itself in like 6 gear and getting crappy times due to it going in such a high gear and no boost. I need stiffer suspension, coils on the way , next mod possibly strut bar

Fast cars that are supposed to be slow impress me way more than fast cars that are supposed to be fast. Getting gapped by a Camry in a Silverado with a cammed 350 is a sobering experience.
No kidding.. had an 07 camry v6 and maaann that thing pulled on so many cars I woulda never thought it could beat. I managed to pull on my buddies 2015 wrx a couple times in a straight line, he would get me on slight corners though.

33% isn’t really even gonna allow for anywhere near max timing maps either, you’ll see another 20-30whp easy with a 70+ % content and probably 50 more whp than what your making right now if you run E90. These cars love the corn. We’ve put customer’s 10AT cars well into the 12s on stock turbo with bolt ons and E90. Typically we use Ignite products but I’ve seen good results from Sunoco E85R as well.
Without fueling upgrades the accord can only utilize about 30% ethanol. I'm curious what upgrades you use to run E90 effectively since hondata isn't even doing that yet

@@Maroco918 I said WELL I to the 12’s. I didn’t say hits 12’s, like their high 12 second passes. I’m talking 12.60s for 10 speeds on stock tires and 12.3x for a 6 speed on a radial. All Stock turbo work. And the PRL PnP flex kit and a custom tune can take advantage of much more content than any of the off the shelf canned tunes. They aren’t commanding hardly any timing and don’t take full advantage of the increased boost targets like you can when you actually dial in what the car likes on the rollers. It doesn’t NEED E85R/E90 but it is beneficial nonetheless, makes more power than any E30 blend you can make, and adds a safety net for finding more torque and therefore HP when we play with timing and rev her a bit. Nobody is selling a max effort OTS tune. They might get you low 330s whp and 360ish TQ peak and a fairly flat TQ curve with FBO and flex fuel, a good tuner on the rollers or running street logs will find another 15-20whp and 10-20wtq basically everywhere in the curve over any OTS map.
@@kennethpowers8995 not doubting your custom tunes are better than ots. I'd never argue that. But fact is the stock fuel pump and injectors run out of steam around E30. This hondata fueling upgrade that just came out for the 2.0, making it beneficial to now fun e45 with the upgrades. The hardware doesn't support what your saying, on a stock car. The computer will see the higher ethanol content and demand more fuel than the system can give. It will cause the car to pull not only timing but boost as well. You'll notice alot of stock type R will actually make less boost on their ethanol tunes for this reason.
@@Maroco918 You would be very lean running straight E90/E85R, but you can safely be significantly leaner than the canned tunes have their OTS maps, we blend about half 100 octane gas, half E90 and end up with a 47-50% content most of the time. It’s not strictly the ethanol content that allows increases in timing and power gains though, the fuel itself is better suited to a performance application than anything you get at the pump. These cars don’t respond all that significantly to changes in air/fuel but really response to changes in timing. Getting the knock control in check makes a big difference. And once it’s dialed in, they can throw whatever fuel they like to drive to work, but then they are still dialed for a max effort run at the track too when good fuel is in the lines.

A tune is a recalibration of the ecu, so its most likely advanced the timing and increased boost.

curious on where you get e30-e35 ? cant find any around my area
E30 is a mix of 91/93 with e85. So you’d mix an X amount of e85 with an X amount of 91/93 (depending on the size of gas tank and if you have 91 or 93) to achieve “e30”.
It’s A blend percentage
I use the E85Cal app (iOS) to show how much mix to use.

Well fwd small tires heavyish car and a good 300+ hp when it shifted it hazed the tires. Seen cars do it at 150, something about going really fast makes cheap tires start to lose their grip on the road

E85 will not give you better gas mileage. If anything you’ll lose some mpg but it’s way cheaper so it evens out. E85 burns a lot faster than regular gas.

Ktuner is the the device you use to tune it it has base maps but every mod you do to your car changes your vehicle. So when I say “tuned” I mean it’s eTuned by Derek Robinson he is very knows in the accord community and definitely knows what he is doing to get max power safe to my vehicle.

Just recently installed the catless rv6 downpipe. I flashed the car and turned off the sensor but once im on the highway and hit around 85mph i get the emissions system problem with the check engine light. By any chance have you also experienced this? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks
I had the same problem too so I went back and disabled p0420, p0138/9, p2a01, and p2097. Never came back on.
