Mahdi Tohidi I’m in Canada so ur gonna have to convert currencies but, I got the 2.0 Touring with the white colour. Got the protection pack and some warranty options and it came to 49 or 50k.
I test drove a 2.0T EX -L today. It is pure Honda Magic. The engine sounds great and loves to rev. The chassis is playful and very buttoned down. I love that Honda returned to a lower dashboard height that give great visibility and sportiness. I think you can't find a better sports sedan for even 10K or 15K more. I also drove the 1.5T Sport. It was nice but a little down on the power. The 2.0T is definitely the way to go.
Honda awoke from their deep slumber with some really good cars. Civic and Civic Type R are wins. This new Accord kills the competition with performance and interior quality. The exterior design is the only area it isnt a runaway victory, but apart from the Mazda 6 everybody else is pretty stale. And with that fastback profile, the aftermarket is going to transform this car into a stunner. Welcome back Honda. Glad you could join us!!
The Accord is the better performing car, but I still think the new Camry is the better looking of the two IMO. You cannot go wrong with the black and white two tone look of the new Camry with red interior seating.
why not? accord has always been the benchmark in it's class. it's been on car and drivers 10 best list a record 32 times. it's main competitor, the camry, has never been on the list.
I just bought a 2018 2.0t EX-L a couple of months ago and I love driving it. When I’m not driving it I’m thinking about driving it. It’s just an all around excellent car. Fast, economical, fun, comfortable, sexy, roomy. I know of no other car at this price point that does so many things so well. The damn thing gets 37 mpg on the interstate running 77 mph. 0-60 in 5.5 seconds! Who says you can’t have power AND fuel economy?
So I just came here to say thanks for making this video, because it was instrumental in my decision to test drive one. Last year I picked up a 2.0T Touring, and it's the first car I've owned where I enjoy driving it all the time. There's really not much this car can't do well. It's a comfortable long distance cruiser, and yet it carves up mountain roads with ease. There are sportier cars, and there are more luxurious cars, but at this price point I don't think there are any other options that combine the perfect amount of both in one package. I think Honda struck a nearly perfect balance.
Rainman Noodles Exact same story for me. When car shopping a year ago, I wasn’t even THINKING about an Accord until I came across this video and some other reviews. Long story short, we bought our 2.0 Touring in December ‘17 and have been enjoying the heck out of it ever since. I never thought an Accord would make me smile this much.
Same with me. This is coming from someone who owned an S2000, followed by a Mazdaspeed 3, followed by a WRX, Followed by a BRZ, followed by a 10th gen Si, followed up with my EX-L 2.0T. Best car i've ever owned without question. The handling isn't as sharp as the BRZ or SI, doesn't have the insane boast at the top end as the MS3 and doesn't have the AWD acceleration from a dig and while it doesn't excel at just one thing, it does EVERYTHING extremely well. I was impressed when I test drove it but I continue to be impressed 5 months later owning it. Honda hit it out of the park with this one.

I know this video is older. But your video is part of what prompted me to give Honda another go. I love Hondas. But Honda lost it’s way somewhere. I have owned quite a few Hondas. But the new Civic, and especially this new Accord, is what brought me back to Honda. This is the Honda I fell in love with. From my first car, a 1st generation Prelude, and the next Prelude, to the CRX’s I’ve had, plus many more, to my 2018 Accord 2.0 Touring. I’m a Honda man! Thank you Chris. Like you said, Honda is back!

Honda knocked it out of the park with this car ! I just drove it today and honestly there’s no point of wasting more money on an entry luxury car . This to me would be the smart way to go for a sport sedan .
This gives people less of a reason to go for an entry level luxury car such as a BMW 320i or 328i, Audi A4 2.0T, Mercedes C300, etc. The new Accord pretty much makes the TLX pointless.

I just hope the 10 speed auto is serviceable. This model brings back every bit of hope I had in Honda. When they went the CVT route in 2013, I didnt like it.
I have the hybrid version of the 2018 Accord Touring. Other than way-lower-than-expected MPG, no matter the conditions or speed, it's a sweet ride. But don't expect the sticker MPG.
Saw this thing in person. All the models including Sport. If you think it looks not great as I used to, then give it a chance and see it in person. Definitely changed my view. It doesn't look as long and big as it does in pictures and video. This thing looks nice, and the lines and curves of the car look good in person too. Sport model looks especially nice. I'm very impressed by the new Accord
If that would have happened. People would have tuned it up to 300 horsepower and then the Type R would not sell as much. Honda was smart not to do that.
How the hell does anyone prefer the new camry over this beast? Accord looks classy asf and hits way above its weight. Not to mention the 2.0 comes with a MANUAL (are you listening, toyota?) and possesses impressive driving dynamics for a family sedan.
I own a 2011 Accord 2.4. The car has aged pretty well and hasn’t been heavy on maintenance either. Now, I want to buy a good SUV and am very keen on the new BMW X3 30i.
If you're looking at this car, one thing you should pay attention to are the brakes. I test drove two other Accord models because when I drove the first one I thought there was something wrong with the brakes or they had some defect. I was wrong, there was nothing wrong with the vehicles and that was the intended feel of the braking system. In the Touring 2.0 (and I believe the non-sport models) they have zero communication and are spongy. Your foot and ankle get easily fatigued, as you have to hold your foot in place because there is no resistance to the pedal; that is if your're a *soft and smooth braker:* good at modulating the pedal to reduce negative pitch and "jolting" motions for you and your passengers. I find that difficult because I don't know and* can't feel the bite point, when the brakes engage, precisely how fast the car is decelerating, and when it's crawling *(in every other car I've driven you can feel the motion/movement of rotors through the brakes, but you can't in the accord. That's the most concerning part of this car because you don't realize when the car is slowly creeping forward and can be potentially dangerous. Especially if you're in stop and go traffic, a dense line of cars, or stopped near close objects.) All of this may not be a concern for you, or you may even like the numbness of the brakes, but it's still something to keep in the back of your mind when you're test driving the car.
@@volcalstone if you can help me please i have question! When you chang the speed to kph in the gage cluster does it change as the same time in the HUD?
Don't understand the Honda hate on YT - the 10th Gen Civic is a hell of a car, the Accord is fantastic - I know not everyone loves the styling lately, but they offer *so much* on even the base models, and the cabins are very nice places to spend time in. The only misstep was ending production of the S2000, but it sounds like a new one may hit the market in 2018. Love Honda.
OH, and driving/handling is superb for FWD car, don't think there's better except maybe in Europe with some car manufacturers they don't have here (e.g., Peugot).
Traditional musclecar guy here....and I'm thinking seriously about trying to get one of these. Honda actually made a cool Accord...supposedly that 10-spd auto was co-developed with Ford.
The Accord is one of the proper "Sport Sedans" out there.. Since not only accelerates fast but it also has a very decent handling with its suspension setup... Drive most cars in this segment and you will appreciate how well tuned it is to take the corners.
The whole "let's put it into normal mode and stop driving like a jackass" had me rolling. This is why I want something like a subaru crosstrek because, I would be driving this like I stole it constantly.
The video channel 'Throttle House' did drag races with the 2.0T Accord racing many other different cars, and in most of the videos it won the race. It really is a FAST car, period!
You really got to see this car in person. In pictures and videos the car looks plain. The taillight looks like a civic in pictures. But in person it has a nice sport look without overdoing it and making the car look futuristic. I can't decide what color to get
This new accord is so nice, it’s just hideous on the outside! I especially like how it’s an actual auto now instead of cvt. I hate cvt on my 16 accord :(
Holy crap. I got spooked how fast this is for a family sedan. This is more power than anyone would ever need. Honda sure knows how to make engines and you get 28 MPG. Man if they made a Civic Type R with this automatic or Integra with an automatic, I would be all over it! Just prefer a smaller, tighter car for city living. Super sleeper. Maybe I just need to get out of the city and own one of these!

Are you blind?
they all look like BMW interiors sorry
This car looks real good in white
Also, please take this car out at night man, we need to see those headlights lol.
I own a 2007 Accord 2.4L and it is surprisingly quick so I can only imagine how quick this must be... My car will do 140 mph all day with ease...
💀
Old video but I have a 2019 2.0 Accord Touring and it’s so much fun to drive.
10:45 is me when checking my engine.
If the engine is there it's okay
I bought a 20 Touring earlier this month and I still haven't check on my engine yet haha. That's Honda for you. I will check it out tomorrow tho 😁.
Love Honda.
OH, and driving/handling is superb for FWD car, don't think there's better except maybe in Europe with some car manufacturers they don't have here (e.g., Peugot).
i wonder what people are thinking that are driving by him when he walks around the car talking
probably he's figuring out how to steal the car :D
Traditional musclecar guy here....and I'm thinking seriously about trying to get one of these. Honda actually made a cool Accord...supposedly that 10-spd auto was co-developed with Ford.
Honda did a really nice job on this new Accord, but let’s not give the “sport sedan” label to everything with decent acceleration. 😄
He was talking about the handling as well. Listen.
The Accord is one of the proper "Sport Sedans" out there.. Since not only accelerates fast but it also has a very decent handling with its suspension setup... Drive most cars in this segment and you will appreciate how well tuned it is to take the corners.
b286guy AND YOU ARE A BULLSHIT!
I agree, but lets give that label to this Accord
Richard Joash Tan Thanks. Have a great day.
The whole "let's put it into normal mode and stop driving like a jackass" had me rolling. This is why I want something like a subaru crosstrek because, I would be driving this like I stole it constantly.
Wow that car looks visibly quick on camera is Honda coming back?
I never knew that it had a head up display for the driver and the experience is 10x better
this is better . is so good . i'm feel a flying
We know it’s drives nice, now let’s hear that sound system
The car is so look good, but the one thing I don't like is The Taillight
The video channel 'Throttle House' did drag races with the 2.0T Accord racing many other different cars, and in most of the videos it won the race. It really is a FAST car, period!
I like the silver wheels, I'm sick and tired of the black wheel trend
My dad has the 2018 EX-L and he loves it he got it up to 125 MPH and said it still could have gone faster
Sport 2.0t comes with 6spd!
Zhar it comes with a 6 speed manual or a 10 speed auto but the touring he is driving only comes with the 10 speed
every engine comes with a 6 spd manual
Only on the sport 2.0 model.
Kellan Larson wrong
I can’t get a 2.0t touring in a manual?
You really got to see this car in person. In pictures and videos the car looks plain. The taillight looks like a civic in pictures. But in person it has a nice sport look without overdoing it and making the car look futuristic. I can't decide what color to get
this is my first non pornographic pov I've seen
My dad bought this one last month..man it’s a far cry from its ‘17 predecessor.
This new accord is so nice, it’s just hideous on the outside! I especially like how it’s an actual auto now instead of cvt. I hate cvt on my 16 accord :(
The 1.5 turbo on the lower end models still has a CVT. Only the 2.0 turbo comes with 10 speed transmission.
Cvt on 16 accord is not too bad comparing with other cvt cars
Karim nassef cvt sucks.
cvt is optional
The old Touring model never had a CVT.
Dam imagine upgrading the exhaust uff
So far the best sounding 4 cylinder I've ever heard!
First I about to fall in love with the car and then at 2:00 I see a white BMW M5 ☠☠☠
I enjoy that he’s not screaming at the camera
