I'm hoping they do a Farming Simulator DLC collaboration and enable steering wheel support for Spin Rhythm XD to allow you to spin and tap along to hits such as "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy", "Who's Gonna Feed Them Hogs?" and the classic "Old MacDonald Had a Farm".
Dj Hero 1+2 was an hidden gem that people didn’t buy because they only thought rock music was good at the time. Me and my family came across DJ hero years after release and absolutely loved it, we would hook up speakers to the tv and just blast the amazing soundtrack that both games had, we loved mixing music and the idea of being DJs. Daft Punk to this day is one of my favorite DJ groups out there. More people should’ve bought the game, it was challenging when you wanted it to be, the music was amazing and the hardware was decent. A new DJ hero would be something that I hope to see sometime in the future of this shitty slightly rhythmless game world.
So it’s basically, you put guitar hero and beat saber in a pot mix it up. Then you think to yourself, “you know what would make things more interesting, a wheel of fortune. Yea, that’s what it needs!”
It actually isn't a minefield if the devs import a pure audio file. That the player uses illegally acquired file is not the devs problem ;) I sincerely believe since there is a custom track editor using existing track that they will add custom song support ! And I hope someone ports Carpenter's Brut full Trilogy using that ahah ! On a secondary note, may I recommend playing with a mouse if at all possible ? ;) The feeling of actually playing some scifi instrument is multiplied by 100 ! It's like you're actually a futuristic music maker it's just crazy !
I'm not the kind of guy that is super serious when it comes to rhythm games, or really plays them at all, but God damn this gives me an erection, an unexpected euphoria every spin. I might even get it myself, but I don't know
Custom song support, way more tracks, an additional harder difficulty, improved and clearer graphics, a head-to-head multiplayer mode where you tune in to "always online" radio stations, lots of accessibility options. If this 2019 video didn't sell you on the game yet, do check it out, because it is way better now! (albeit still in early access)
It’s always fun to listen to non rhythm gamers talk about rhythm games and see an outsiders view on the genre. While I don’t agree with what you think makes a good rhythm game, there is definitely merit to the games controls emulating the type of music your playing. Spin Rhythm is a very simple rhythm game, mostly because it’s appealing a main stream audience and misses a lot of the cool gimmicks the games it’s was inspired by have (Sound Voltex, IIDX.) But it’s not trying to be a competitive game, more of gateway to show people that rhythm games aren’t absurdly hard but are fun and have satisfying patterns.
This game is The Shit! i use an old midi cdj controller(gemini cntrl-2) with a modified script on ableton, mostly for macros, because most of the software compatible with it is crap, but i never thought that i would find something this cool. now suddenly this old thing has new life! I can see it as flow enhancer in my production sessions... maybe no, i dont want it to become more rewarding than making music for real xD Also the songs and artist selection, pretty nice imo
Give me a Donkey Konga HD collection Nintendo you cowards.

I lost my virginity to "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy". That song slaps.
This game is so good I honestly haven’t had this much fun with a rhythm game in a while
Fun fact: spin rhythm is underrated.
custom song support... so beautiful but so dangerous
Finally out in 1.0 3 years later and this is still one of the only but best reviews on the game!
And developed in Australia. Makes me proud :)

Commenting because yes, your dreams were answered.
Custom Songs, and a level maker...yesssssssss
oh yea gotta get me some of that!
Good vid as always chap. I like the reflection on guitar heros success. Nice amount of nostalgia and introspection
Custom song support is said to be in the pipeline! I'm super curious to find out where this game is headed because I'm loving it so far
Hey there!
Not sure if you've been keeping tabs on the game but there is custom song support now!
I haven't but I absolutely will have to go back and check it out! Thanks for the heads up!
Great video, you deserve more subs and views!

I walked away from rock band able to play drums, I just had to learn some left foot stuff. That was 15 years ago now. oof.

I haven't been keeping up with the game for the past 12 months but always online radio stations? That sounds amazing!

You should check out the game Later Alligator, if you haven't already. I think it would fit you well. :)
Thanks for the heads up! Added it to my list :)
Revisit this please, it has so much potential!!!
this game feels amazing with a midi controller
