There are so many people in this community that are always like “this isn’t a rhythm game” “that isn’t a rhythm game” and just blatantly call other mechanics shite just because it’s different to what they are used to. I love any sort of rhythm game but some of these people are soo damn toxic and annoying. 😒

Rhythm games are so niche (especially when you play the lesser-known ones) so to see the games that I play daily in a video like this is so surreal. It's like, "hey, that's my people!"

As a long-time arcade game enjoyer (have retired since then), seeing Dance Dance Revolution at 1:45 makes me smile. Makes me want to have a go at the game again after all these years.
@@venb Not that easy. Each video has a different satrting time, a different volume and a difgerent length. The majority of these are the condensed version, so I had to splice them together in a way that it sounded like the full song

So true, I discovered Stepmania over a year ago and it's so hard to find people still playing. People were most active in the early 2010, and my biggest regret is probably that I never got to make a stepmania account on the website
When I first saw cytus and tried it it was absolute hell but after playing for some time it became somewhat bearable. Now I'm seeing this and almost everything looks like hell again.
I have never picked up a proper rhythm game in my life, but it's so impressive watching everyone being so focused and synchronised to such a banger song.
