@@ChocolateKieran anytime! And sorry if I actually butchered some of my words xD. But if you do need some extra lore in Granblue Rising, please don't hesitate to ask away!
there are special animations when you finish someone with a SSBA. Also the races are as follows: Humans, Harvins (the short ones like Charlotta), Erunes (animal ears and stuff), Draphs (they have horns like Ladiva and Vaseraga) and Primals who all have their unique calling since they were created for a specific purpose. Belial and Avatar are primals I believe. The "godess" Lowain summoned is Yggdrasil, who is also a primal with the power of Earth. Zoey is also a primal related to Cosmos, but I'm not going too deep into that. Siegfried has dragon blood that burns and kills him a little. Anila is one of the 12 generals, related to the Chinese New Year animals (her's is sheep obv). Nier's counter SSBA depends on how low her stacks are so it looks really underwhelming since you had 13. As for story, Relink is just a fantastic game so you should defo check it out, but the majority of the story is in the mobile game, which I doubt you'll ever play, but it is incredibly interesting. We just had our 10th anniversary too
Just to ad to that Beelzebub and Lucilius are Astrals. They are basically higher beings with a lot of power since they are from the old world or so... I don’t know too much about them tho And then there are also Angels like Sandalphon but there aren’t any in the Game yet.
Though Gran and Djeeta are supposed to be clones in game, they added a little reference to the anime where gran is the new player growing stronger as a fighter in the main story, and the ova is djeeta powering through end game dungeons with advanced classes. Pretty much an ongoing joke Cygames has with these two.
GOD I love Vira. I love her so damn much. I've only played the OG Granblue (since Rising doesn't have regional pricing, Sadge), but her SBA and SSBAs are the same, and god that evil laugh does things for me.
Love your reactions! I would absolutely love if you reacted to some of the character intros and outros for this game, they’re fantastic and have so much personality. Also, an explanation for Belial and Beelzebub (as someone who hasn’t played the gacha but has consumed a lot of content)- they are related story wise, being on again off again allies and enemies. Bubs is an Astral, a member of an advanced society that sought to conquer the skies, and seeks to rule all of creation. He’s pretty megalomaniacal. Belial is a primal beast, an artificial deity created by an Astral named Lucilius (who actually shows up in Rising), who governs the concept of cunning. He is extremely manipulative as a result (as well as being a complete perv and sadomasochist. He moans and smiles whenever he takes damage). Belial seeks to destroy the skies in their entirety at the behest of Lucilius. This puts him and Bubs at odds. Bubs and Belial are both some of the most powerful beings in existence, being canonically matched only by each other and Lucilius, as well as a character named Sandalphon, who isn’t playable in game. Avatar Belial is the result of Belial absorbing something called the Versus core, and an extremely powerful creature known as Avatar. They’re the same character but Avatar Belial is all of Belial’s traits turned up to 11, being essentially a bloodthirsty obsessive yandere. Can you tell who I main yet? Lol
Summoning monsters is a big part of the gacha mechanics, but for Gran/Djeeta/Katalina and a few others it's lore relevant which is why they're in their supers. Every character has an elemental affinity as well
Rising is fantastic. A really great total package fighting game. The implementation of simple controls is seamless amd intuitive like no other easy/modern controls. When I played the 1st GBVS I barely used easy inputs. I was too jaded and hung up on oldschool technical controls, plus GBVS easy inputs had a much longer cool down period. In Rising however, over time I have come to use easy inputs almost exclusively except for specific timing/spacing needs. Rising easy inputs are so good, I honestly miss them when playing other FGs and actively want other developers to implement similar plans in the future.
Lowain's great! Every time he loses, he loses. But every time you win it cuts to him hanging with his bros and it reveals the entire fight was just a story he's making up about how the fight's GOING to happen, so you don't technically 'win for real', either, lol!
Love Lowain and his bros. At first when you see him you expect him to be this cool badass guy who's a real fighter, but then you realize he's just one of the bros, one of us. He may be cool at the end of the day, but he's still a hopeless daydreamer who knows everyone else out of his league or so his mind is set to.
Nier Super is not a counter, you need to have Death (she's a puppet character) summoned for it to work. And she has a special animation when she only have 1 stack left of her Death jaudge that you missed Great video tho, really liked your reactions !
So I feel I should mention that Gran's SBA has a blue version that was added in Rising. You have to do qcf + U after doing the SBA while in blue health range. It's really cool-looking. Also, the "stand" Djeeta and Gran have with them is Lyria. She's very cute and has a black hole for a stomach.
I'm late for the party, but I wanna say that Gran has an alternate SBA when you tap your skill button as soon as the first hit of his normal SBA connects, he'll then use the same weapon summoning power as Djeeta. Nier's SSBA can be used during her combos, but using it on its own is a counter move. Her animations will also be slightly different the less stocks she has. I think the thresholds are at 13, 7 and 3. There are beings called Primal Beasts in GBF and some of them make contracts with characters, that's why some characters can summon "stands" in their SBA or Ultimate skills. Some characters are Primal Beasts themselves who have humanoid forms. There are 4 main races in GBF, Human (your average Joes), Erune (the ones with animal ears and tail if they're royalties), Harvin (the hobbits) and Draph (those with horns). These four races together are called skydwellers, because they live on islands that float in the skies. There's an uncommon 5th race called the Astrals who are super powerful overlords that once conquered the skydwellers. Atm, only Lucilius and Beelzebub are from this race. They're basically a race made of Jesus. Another race that has yet to make it into this game is called Moondweller, as you can guess, they live on the moon. These guys are also hostile towards skydwellers with some characters like Zeta, Vaseraga, Eustace and Beatrix, who belong to an organisation with the main goal of fighting against the moondwellers.
As for Zeta, her armor is similar to Beatrix's armor, who is the next character to come out. Zeta is Vaseraga's partner, and she, Vaseraga, Eustace and Beatrix are members of the same group. As for Vaseraga, his voice actor also voiced Ikari Gendo, Zaraki Kenpachi and Sakazuki (Akainu) from One Piece.
I've only recently stumbled upon your channel, so the best way to describe some of the characters in Street Fighter terms, lol. Gran, Katalina, Djeeta, Vira - The Shotos Ferry - Dhalsim with a DP Charlotta - E. Honda & Blanka with a small hitbox Ladiva - Zangief Narmaya - Gen (Stance Changes) Vaseraga - Hugo with a projectile Grimnir - Rashid Anila - Terry Bogard
Soriz: his U / unique move is half taunt half armor, you take substantially less damage for the first hit you eat in exchange for a counter next to his health to rise from 1-5. Every level equates a higher defensive buff when he activates his fundoshi (underwear) mode at low health. At Lv5, he takes close to 40% less damage while his damage output and special moves are all buffed to high holy hell.
Generally speaking, only the main protag squad have those stands. There's some other cases, but mostly, it's the protag squad. Also: Bakugou is in fact in the mobile game, he was part of a crossover event with MHA.
I highly recommend playing Relink, but something to note, the story beyond the introduction is different between the mobile game, Relink, and the fighting game. It tells a similar narrative and I don’t think stuff changes too drastically. Lore runs deep
@@ChocolateKieranLike a parallel worlds deal. Granblue has been going in on multiverse lore for a couple of years and the side games are their own timelines.
KOing with a Super Skybound Arts have a unique win screen too btw. Edit: And yeah Ladiva's Super Skybound Arts does finish the count if you KO with it!
you actually missed out on Grans cooler basic Sky Bound Arts when you are at the range of Super Sky Bound Arts his regular one changes slightly, he does the reginleiv like usual but also goes into his Boundary Form (basically SSJ Blue) like Djeeta and does a follow up
I was confused when you said base game bc to get familiar with all those characters, that's well over 400 characters in the main granblue fantasy game which is on its tenth year😂 I think you'd actually dig the action rpg version of this series which is GBF Relink. The four skyfarer races in this series are human, draph (horns), erunes (ears and tails) and harvins (smol). And yes, Ladiva is highly beloved, she's an absolute gem and a sweetheart. She runs the bar on the grandcypher!
I'm going to have to tune in! A few fun lore facts (which you may have already read up on 😂) Anila is a Draph the same race as Vaseraga and Narmaya. She is one of the Twelve Divine Generals that guard a portion of the sky (Hers is South-Southwest). I think all of them are female, and most are waifu material. Hates conflict and hopes/fights for world peace, and has a good relationship with Gran and his crew. She's also based on Terry Bogard from Fatal Fury. Her Super Skybound Art is her Buster Wolf.
idk if chat explained this to you but Gran and Djeeta are essentially the same character in the mobage gacha game, they are your main character inserts where you pick whichever gender you wanna play as (this is why both of them are accompanied by a blue haired girl with a Bahamut summon in their Super Skybound Art) Tho due to years of memes it is generally regarded by the community that Djeeta is the cooler MC who is basically the veteran player personified as someone that grinded a bunch for 10 different event-specific weapons (used in her Skybound Arts combo thing)
Still missed one of Gran's super skybound, the one where he goes blue. It does require him using his skybound art (not super skyboumd art) at low health, and after hitting it, you have to press the arts button
Great stuff but u missed a few things like some SBA (Sky bound arts) and SSBA (Super sky bound arts) also each character has a cinematic SSBA that changes when defeating an opponent on a last round victory when the opponent is at 20% health.
To be specific, he missed Gran's cinematic normal super (land the super point blank), Nier's true Ultimate Super (Land the counter with a low number of the heart gague), and all of the minor install supers (Ferry, Anre, Seox, Siegfried, Grimnir, and Nier all have install supers, albeit less flashy than the installs that actually showed up like Vira and Soriz)
@@daikaichis6229 it... changes quite a lot, I don't know what you're talking about. It takes it from the single least impactful SSBA in the game to one of the sickest
@@ShinxBOOM247 we just she her crying , good for the lore . But still not that great of a change , at least not something that make it that much better
Here's the short version of the "magic system" in GBF lore, everyone can use magic / skill depending on what element they are, fire, water, wind, earth, light & dark. Other than that, it usually falls on to their own special talents or their weapons have special powers. Then there's Lyria, the girl with the blue hair that you see with Gran & Djeeta, she have the power to summon, like that dragon, Bahamut. Even the "waifu" in Lowain's SSBA is also actually her summon, Yggdrasil. Katalina's knight also kinda falls under that category, but lore wise they made it so that Katalina is able to summon that knight
I highly recommend Relink, even as a beginner to the world of Granblue. Relink takes place in a later part of the main story of the mobile game, however it will try to introduce you to the world and the lore of each character with something called Fate Episodes. It's a good point to start to learn the lore, and it's also pretty short as it takes around 15 hours to finish the main story. It also features some really amazing boss battles in it.
@@ChocolateKieran Yes, Versus isn't bad as a start, but it takes heavy references from a trilogy of story events from the mobile game called "What makes the sky blue?". Meanwhile Relink doesn't need any prior knowledge as the story and villians are all new. Both Versus and Relink have a glossary/codex in case you wanna learn more about the lore. There's also an anime, the first season of i tells how the journey of Gran started from scratch, it's on netflix I think.
So the lore is that Gran/Djeeta saved Blue Girl (Lydia) and she made a pact with them using her special power to summon monsters known as Primals. So whenever you're together, the MC can use Lydia's powers to summon the dragon, which is Bahamut. These Primals are also remnants from an ancient war against the Astrals, too, which are all angels and demons from what I understand.
My man talked about dragalia lost. That game was dope, the first op was dope, gameplay was easy to do, too bad it's gone now. Dude, you didn't do gran's special standard skybound art.
Good video but if I took a shot every time you made a reference to an anime or a game I would've died 7 minutes into the video Just realised someone mentioned this exact drinking game already lol
Yeah the reference drinking game has been a theme on this channel for like two years honestly, it’s kind of an inside joke for me and anybody who’s been around long at this point 😂
GBVSR is a blast and I hope you enjoy it I've been a gbf fan for a while so here's a few deets for the characters lore and stuff without being too spoilery Gran/Djeeta are the same person pretty much, the girl in blue is Lyria who has this mysterious power that allows her to summon Dragons, Primal beasts ect Other characters also have this ability though not many (eg Katalina summons Ares who is the blue knight in her SSBA) Charlotta is actually in her mid 20's, Harvins are just like that No the the people in Siegfried's SSBA are not dead, all of them are in fact playable (Lancelot, Percival and Vane) They're collectively known by the fans as the Dragon Knights All of Lowain's interactions in GBVS are non canon and in lore he is the weakest character in the GBVSR roster (His SSBA summon is also not canon, as Yggdrasil is a primal that Lyria summons and not Lowain) Zeta, Vaseraga and Eustace are all a part of the Society which is a group that hunts Primals Anre (Uno) and Seox (Six) are members of the Eternals who are devoted to protecting the skies, some of their names changed with english localisation Cagliostro is the founder of alchemy and is thousands of years old- and has an ego for being the cutest Ladiva, Vaseraga, Anila and Narmaya are Draphs. Male Draphs are massive 9ft tall dudes while Female Draphs are half that and often times quite busty. Nobody knows why. Grimnir and Belial are Primal Beasts Beelzebub and Lucillius (DLC) are Astrals, the Astrals created the Primal Beasts GBF lore is so interesting sometimes but there is quite a lot of it. Rising's story mode and Relink does a good job in getting you started on GBF story.
I'm kinda sad you missed a thing with Nier. Basically she has a ressource that allows her to use Death (her puppet and basically only friend) and her super skybound deals more damage the lower that ressource is and once you it bellow 4/13 (I think I'm not sure) she has a full on mental breakdown and cries like crazy dealing a shit tone of damage. If you win with it the animation at the end of the combat will be death rising from the enemy's blood to comfort her after that.
Beelzebub and Belial works together but Belial serves another person named Lucilius who is the final boss in GBVS Rising. Avatar Belial are basically Belial fused with the "Avatar" that took form of Primal Beast "Satan" in granblue universe.
Oh, and Every mythical creature and god-like being in Granblue Fantasy is called Primal Beast, they were created by the Astral to serve as a living weapon to conquer the Sky Realms(Earth)
I just had to upgrade too because I got Horizon Forbidden West and the Dragon's Dogma 2 character creator. The DD2cc wouldn't even run on my 2019 laptop😂 I got a 2024 Acer Nitro5 with 16GB ddr5 ram an rtx4050(but only 6GB Vram😢). Great deals on that machine. Got mine for $879(factory refurb). Not the best, but damn good enough.
So there are two things that you missed. One is every character has a cinematic finish but you can only see them in versus mode. Another one is Gran actually has a second version of his fireball super if you hold the button.
Yes, Gran and Djeeta is the two main character from the original game (Male and Female Version) Also there's a fun explanation why Djeeta animation is so much more cooler than Gran. Their name was taken from the game title in japan, Granblue Fantasy (グランブルーファンタジー) Which Gran (グラン) is taken from the beginning of the game's name, while Djeeta (ジータ) is taken from the end of the game's name. (Fantasy is read as Fantajii in japanese, so if read backward it will read as Jiita) That's why Gran is often portrayed as a basic character that just started their journey While Djeeta is often portrayed as an overpowered character that reached the end of their journey
He paused for a whole 3 seconds when Vira stepped on him. Then , with a smile as wide as the sky, says "I like her". The masculine urge to be stepped on by a strong woman 😂
Ohhh so THATS what I missed, thanks for explaining further! I actually think this is my fighting game of choice by the way so if you guys like this I’ll stream and do more Granblue. I put in 20 hours just in training and casual online since this video 😭
Still a little early in the video, but it seems you missed out on some versions of the supers you can do, like Gran's full cinematic normal super (its counted as an SSBA) and some minor installs
Vaseraga is a Draph, the males are naturally large, but he is one of the biggest thanks to modifying his body to the extent where he can't feel pain anymore, and intends to use that trait to protect his friends until his body gives out, or as close to it as he can manage. He's, contrary to his appearance, the nicest person in the entire cast just about.
One of the races in Granblue. A common trait they share are horns sticking out of their heads. Males tend to be tall and muscular behemoths. Females, on the other hand, tend to be short stacks.
Lowain is kinda cool cause he is a weak dude who has no palc efigthing demons and gods ... when he win a round is ending cinematic reveal that he is actually in a bar telling is friends a tall tale of how he win ( the tale is the figth we just have) and no one actually beleive him but everyon enjoy the tale. thats why is super skybound art is literrally " and then the goddes appear and say let me finish him bro! and she atack the enemy for me"
Belial is my favorite is kinda an incubus a horny one at that since all his lines are so out of pocket 😂 my favorite are seox, Belial, Ferry, Percival, and Lancelot
Could you please react to Blazblue? The combat is crazy because everyone has really different playstyles, and the combos can become serious pretty quickly. Blazblue is also hilarious, and has multiple funny gag reels.
Gran has 2nd part to his SA, you are supposed to press ultimate after the blade hits the opponent. T_T So it looks far less impressive than Djeeta's...Although its still looks less impressive nevertheless but not as much as the SA without the 2nd part
This was recorded before any of the DLC characters were even out LOL, I've just taken forever to edit this! I also wasn't given a code for the DLC and haven't bought them yet so holding onto that for now

We just had our 10th anniversary too
Vira is also basically a primal, since she fused with Luminiera, primal of Albion (that's her install/transformation).
@@Dispensa7 I know that but it gets confusing and I already left a wall of text.
@@fel524 Yeah no sweat, just figured I'd append the little detail.
@@Dispensa7 true enough, thanks
Just to ad to that Beelzebub and Lucilius are Astrals. They are basically higher beings with a lot of power since they are from the old world or so... I don’t know too much about them tho
And then there are also Angels like Sandalphon but there aren’t any in the Game yet.
This video can be summed up as thus: This character is like "insert anime character" from "insert anime name"
I'm guessing you're new here huh? 😂 Welcome in
Love your reactions!
Every character has an elemental affinity as well
Interesting, it does feel quite similar to Dragalia Lost then!
My man truly has an anime point of reference for ANYTHING you could throw at him
I haven't watched over 400 anime with over 2700 hours for nothing 💀 hahahahah I need ot go outside...
That's what I'm sayin!
Man my anime lexicon never flourished harder than during quarantine 😅
Lowain's great! Every time he loses, he loses. But every time you win it cuts to him hanging with his bros and it reveals the entire fight was just a story he's making up about how the fight's GOING to happen, so you don't technically 'win for real', either, lol!
Love Lowain and his bros. At first when you see him you expect him to be this cool badass guy who's a real fighter, but then you realize he's just one of the bros, one of us. He may be cool at the end of the day, but he's still a hopeless daydreamer who knows everyone else out of his league or so his mind is set to.
It was revealed before that Gran Blue characters have ton reference to SNK fighting games, like KOF. But not every character appear in this fighting
Nier Super is not a counter, you need to have Death (she's a puppet character) summoned for it to work. And she has a special animation when she only have 1 stack left of her Death jaudge that you missed
Great video tho, really liked your reactions !
anila pose when trowing her skybound is Terry buster wolf pose .. i friend tell me there are man figthing game references in other characters too
you missed nier ssba variations. And also the killing blow of each Super Skybound Art u.u
My main is Belial in master rank in this game so I always love to see people see his SBA and SSBA
Anila's super skybound is a reference to Terry Bogard's Buster Wolf. Because she's a Buster Wolf in Sheeps Clothing.
I've only recently stumbled upon your channel, so the best way to describe some of the characters in Street Fighter terms, lol.
Gran, Katalina, Djeeta, Vira - The Shotos
Ferry - Dhalsim with a DP
Charlotta - E. Honda & Blanka with a small hitbox
Ladiva - Zangief
Narmaya - Gen (Stance Changes)
Vaseraga - Hugo with a projectile
Grimnir - Rashid
Anila - Terry Bogard
Soriz: his U / unique move is half taunt half armor, you take substantially less damage for the first hit you eat in exchange for a counter next to his health to rise from 1-5. Every level equates a higher defensive buff when he activates his fundoshi (underwear) mode at low health. At Lv5, he takes close to 40% less damage while his damage output and special moves are all buffed to high holy hell.
Yoo I hope you enjoy the Trails games!
You legend! I’m still on Second Chapter because I’ve been backed up with Persona but it’s been so fun so far!
Ohh so it’s all the same story but different? 🤔
@@ChocolateKieranLike a parallel worlds deal. Granblue has been going in on multiverse lore for a couple of years and the side games are their own timelines.
@@JazzLafayette YO WAIT, that's so dope! Okay I'm gonna play both then LOL
KOing with a Super Skybound Arts have a unique win screen too btw.
Edit: And yeah Ladiva's Super Skybound Arts does finish the count if you KO with it!
I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE
Would love to see you react to all the character trailers too!
he mentioned Dragalia Lost im happy to see a fan that plays fighting games
you actually missed out on Grans cooler basic Sky Bound Arts when you are at the range of Super Sky Bound Arts his regular one changes slightly, he does the reginleiv like usual but also goes into his Boundary Form (basically SSJ Blue) like Djeeta and does a follow up
Fun fact about Lowain's Super Skybound, if he wins using it: The match is revealed to be a dream in his victory screen.
Oh, and Yuel's "Homegirl" is actually her girlfriend.
All those super skybound art have special win screen animation. You can try them out in local match to see it easily
Anila is my main too! She's so fun and she just got a buff!
LET'S GO!!! I heard about this buff, I'm looking forward to checking it out on stream on Monday 😁
I'm going to have to tune in! A few fun lore facts (which you may have already read up on 😂)
Anila is a Draph the same race as Vaseraga and Narmaya.
Her Super Skybound Art is her Buster Wolf.
idk if chat explained this to you but Gran and Djeeta are essentially the same character in the mobage gacha game, they are your main character inserts where you pick whichever gender you wanna play as (this is why both of them are accompanied by a blue haired girl with a Bahamut summon in their Super Skybound Art)
Tho due to years of memes it is generally regarded by the community that Djeeta is the cooler MC who is basically the veteran player personified as someone that grinded a bunch for 10 different event-specific weapons (used in her Skybound Arts combo thing)
Still missed one of Gran's super skybound, the one where he goes blue. It does require him using his skybound art (not super skyboumd art) at low health, and after hitting it, you have to press the arts button
Don't feel bad for Gran. Djeeta needs such a powerful looking SBA to make up for Gran's BOOT
Well nier "true ssba" doesn't really change that much so not really missing on it
@@daikaichis6229 it... changes quite a lot, I don't know what you're talking about. It takes it from the single least impactful SSBA in the game to one of the sickest
@@ShinxBOOM247 we just she her crying , good for the lore . But still not that great of a change , at least not something that make it that much better
Cagliostro is a TRIP and a half in the lore.
You can play the story mode in Versus to get a general idea of the characters, also cool unlockables like stages and music.
Would love to see you go through the supers for Examu games like Daemon Bride or Arcana Heart.
So Relink's story would be better than Versus story for getting into things?
@@ChocolateKieran Yes, Versus isn't bad as a start, but it takes heavy references from a trilogy of story events from the mobile game called "What makes the sky blue?". Meanwhile Relink doesn't need any prior knowledge as the story and villians are all new. Both Versus and Relink have a glossary/codex in case you wanna learn more about the lore.
There's also an anime, the first season of i tells how the journey of Gran started from scratch, it's on netflix I think.
U miss out nier full ssba when she has 1 stock left (the number 13 under the meter)
The fighting game came out in December, the action game "Relink" came out in February
Bingo! I clocked my mistake after I uploaded 😂 I have ReLink as well but haven’t played yet
Holy shit I haven't heard anyone mention Dragalia Lost in years. I was half convinced I hallucinated that game's existence lol.
Hahaha I don't blame you! Glad to see more people that played it are out there though 😁
My man talked about dragalia lost. That game was dope, the first op was dope, gameplay was easy to do, too bad it's gone now.
Dude, you didn't do gran's special standard skybound art.
44:30
Bro talked about gilgamesh but didn't even click the almost 1:1 Saber's Noble Phantasm (Excalibur)...
Winning matches with their supers gives different endings, don't think you can be in training mode to get them though.
Dragalia lost has some amazing music
Another Dragalia Lost fan, let’s go!!!
Good video but if I took a shot every time you made a reference to an anime or a game I would've died 7 minutes into the video
Just realised someone mentioned this exact drinking game already lol
Yeah the reference drinking game has been a theme on this channel for like two years honestly, it’s kind of an inside joke for me and anybody who’s been around long at this point 😂
Beelzebub is actually voiced by Katsuyuki Konishi who also plays Diavolo
GBVSR is a blast and I hope you enjoy it
I've been a gbf fan for a while so here's a few deets for the characters lore and stuff without being too spoilery
Gran/Djeeta are the same person pretty much, the girl in blue is Lyria who has this mysterious power that allows her to summon Dragons, Primal beasts ect
Other characters also have this ability though not many (eg Katalina summons Ares who is the blue knight in her SSBA)
Charlotta is actually in her mid 20's, Harvins are just like that
No the the people in Siegfried's SSBA are not dead, all of them are in fact playable (Lancelot, Percival and Vane) They're collectively known by the fans as the Dragon Knights
All of Lowain's interactions in GBVS are non canon and in lore he is the weakest character in the GBVSR roster (His SSBA summon is also not canon, as Yggdrasil is a primal that Lyria summons and not Lowain)
Zeta, Vaseraga and Eustace are all a part of the Society which is a group that hunts Primals
Anre (Uno) and Seox (Six) are members of the Eternals who are devoted to protecting the skies, some of their names changed with english localisation
Cagliostro is the founder of alchemy and is thousands of years old- and has an ego for being the cutest
Ladiva, Vaseraga, Anila and Narmaya are Draphs. Male Draphs are massive 9ft tall dudes while Female Draphs are half that and often times quite busty. Nobody knows why.
Grimnir and Belial are Primal Beasts
Beelzebub and Lucillius (DLC) are Astrals, the Astrals created the Primal Beasts
GBF lore is so interesting sometimes but there is quite a lot of it.
Oh, and Every mythical creature and god-like being in Granblue Fantasy is called Primal Beast, they were created by the Astral to serve as a living weapon to conquer the Sky Realms(Earth)
you should react to all Character Models Comparison - Tag Tournament 2 vs Tekken 7 vs Tekken 8! im ur biggest fan
I'm mad my laptop can run vanilla GBFV and Guilty Gear Strive but not Rising. I really wanted to play this.
Yes, Gran and Djeeta is the two main character from the original game (Male and Female Version)
Also there's a fun explanation why Djeeta animation is so much more cooler than Gran.
Their name was taken from the game title in japan, Granblue Fantasy (グランブルーファンタジー)
Which Gran (グラン) is taken from the beginning of the game's name, while Djeeta (ジータ) is taken from the end of the game's name. (Fantasy is read as Fantajii in japanese, so if read backward it will read as Jiita)
That's why Gran is often portrayed as a basic character that just started their journey
While Djeeta is often portrayed as an overpowered character that reached the end of their journey
The best way to get good is learn to shimmy people with the strike throw ups. And don’t jump otherwise you’re eating half life combo’s
What’s the button command for a strike throw up? I’m not sure what that is? I definitely learned to not jump too much for sure 😂
Anila basically did Buster Wolf
**Buster Wool* 🤣🤣🤣🐏
He paused for a whole 3 seconds when Vira stepped on him. Then , with a smile as wide as the sky, says "I like her".
The masculine urge to be stepped on by a strong woman 😂
"I'm scared of her"
"I like her"

You still missed out on some like Gran's low health super
The super skybound? Pretty sure I did that, unless I forgot it in the edit
Gran has a just frame input of his stab super when low health.
Ohhh so THATS what I missed, thanks for explaining further! I actually think this is my fighting game of choice by the way so if you guys like this I’ll stream and do more Granblue. I put in 20 hours just in training and casual online since this video 😭
@@ChocolateKieran i trusted Twitch chat to guide you through these supers, they failed me

Still a little early in the video, but it seems you missed out on some versions of the supers you can do, like Gran's full cinematic normal super (its counted as an SSBA) and some minor installs
19:26 every straight guy reacting to vira confused between scared and horny
I mean I'm wlw and I adore her (and her romantic pursuits).
What is "Draph"? A species of demon or something in fantasy lore?
One of the races in Granblue. A common trait they share are horns sticking out of their heads. Males tend to be tall and muscular behemoths. Females, on the other hand, tend to be short stacks.
Lowain is kinda cool cause he is a weak dude who has no palc efigthing demons and gods ... when he win a round is ending cinematic reveal that he is actually in a bar telling is friends a tall tale of how he win ( the tale is the figth we just have) and no one actually beleive him but everyon enjoy the tale. thats why is super skybound art is literrally " and then the goddes appear and say let me finish him bro! and she atack the enemy for me"
RIP Gran's low health super... xD
