I love Eric's enthusiasm he gets so excited he's so cool to watch about everything that happened it's just like a new toy I love it keep at it never lose that Joy
BEST SOLO YET!!!!! Always enjoy your videos Eric, whether you're hunting, shed hunting or just vlogging. Got to be honest, I have a new found respect for you since seeing those throwback 8's from 1999. You were YouTubing before You Tube was even invented. Haha!! Not too many people have the determination you have to keep doing what they love and you have definitely knocked it outta the park brotha. Mad respect from your outdoorsman down here in New Mexico. Keep hammering!!!
Hey Eric, what a fantastic video! I’m a big fan of your start to finish vids including you packing for the hunt, etc! I love all the Hush episodes, but especially your solo segments whether hunting for critters or sheds as I also hunt solo for the most part other than taking my wife along on an occasional archery antelope hunt or something similar! I hope your Covid recovery is coming along at a quick pace, you should google recovering sense of taste and smell, I watched a vid where an orange was burnt on the grill, then peeled and mixed with brown sugar and eaten, maybe worth a try! Thanks much for taking us along on all of your adventures! God Bless!
So looking forward to the rest of this hunt. I like that you showed us all of the stuff at the house before you left for the hunt. I enjoy the way that you guys film and edit all of you videos.
You did good Eric that bear footage was awesome hell that whole video was awesome that's why I like you guys you don't sugar coat it you said you weren't Tough Enough I appreciate your candor
That was cool E! I always like to see what everyone else packs into the woods. I know I take entirely too much stuff but I have never needed something that I didn't have. Cool solo action in the saddle. Can't wait to see what's next.
Awesome video. Excited to watch purchased a jumping this summer and used it for my elk hunt in Manitoba. Awesome trailer and can’t wait to use it next fall for my Montana elk archery hunt.
Yay, can’t wait to see how this hunt plays out. Great job on getting the elk located. Loving BSY 4.0. Keep up the hard work. Hope your late season hunts are going well :) We haven’t had any luck this season. Going out today. We’ll see if that will change. Got a few bucks on the trail cam. I think the rut is heating up. Might have to invest in one of those tree saddles myself. Hunting in North Idaho has proven to be different then hunting southern Idaho. Anyhow one day we’ll figure it out. Thanks for taking us along. Take care, see ya.
Hats off to hunting from a tree saddle. As a lineman Im still not sold on a tree saddle. Not sure why, maybe just because I spend enough time on my hooks hanging from poles that I don't wanna be doing on my off time.
I like the load out part it shows different organization skills and that it takes a lot of prep. I use a tree stand when it's hot mostly, never considered a saddle. Looks like that would be great so you can move it easily. Maybe because you are filming, but usually I always have my bow in my hand when I'm walking around during season. Great vids!
Doing a few 7-10 day solo adventures whether its hunting elk or just kayaking down a stretch of river, will really teach a man if he actually enjoys his own company.
Jumping jack tent looks pretty cool I have one of those Bi mart trailers I could use and put the tent in that . Don't know for sure if it will fit Its 8 foot by 4 foot
@@gethushin I got my LE bull this year first bull with a bow found him sleeping and took a 58 yard shot to find myself a 310 bull. I ask about the stand as I'm very new to it, but am going to start it this coming year as to utah early elk makes sense.
@@gethushin I use the same alligator clip for the hat, I just have to turn the camera around so the back of the GoPro is against the clip. Than I just clip it on my belt or backpack strap. It might be worth a try.
@@gethushin Thanks man, want to give it a try in NZ. Just been walking and stalking the reds with good success, but would love to try this during the Roar (Rut) 😊
Going on my first elk hunt with my own tag this year in Wyoming. I went with my dad without a tag last year to be with him but we didn’t have any success. What size cooler will a whole deboned elk fit in? I’ve read a 200 quart cooler should work. Any help would be much appreciated!
i understand its an old vid the tent you stuck on the trailer what is the name of them im looking just for the tent part of the trailer to custom build me a rack for it
I'm serious about hunting and also prefer to hunt alone. Nothing against B Mac and Casey, love to watch them too, but I always have higher hopes on your videos that we'll see some good hunting and less jacking around!
Eric needs to branch away from hush, at least for videos.. Most hush videos now are just Casey’s heavy breathing, kids and Logan being annoying. Not worth a watch anymore
FANTASTIC VIDEO FROM START TO FINISH!
I love just hunting with my wife and me on my hunting. We have a lot less stress instead of worrying about lots of people.
I love Eric's enthusiasm he gets so excited he's so cool to watch about everything that happened it's just like a new toy I love it keep at it never lose that Joy
Looking forward to seeing the rest of this unfold. Thanks Eric and hush for putting out great clean content.
Absolutely 🇺🇸

I love the diversity between the hush guys! Everyone of you has a completely different way of getting it done. All effective, but unique. Love it!
Archery elk hunts are my favorite videos to watch. Sweet video!!
Make sure to catch Thursday’s episode
So looking forward to the rest of this hunt. I like that you showed us all of the stuff at the house before you left for the hunt. I enjoy the way that you guys film and edit all of you videos.
Cool, thanks 🙏
Awesome!! Can't wait to see the rest of the hunt. Excited to see you use the tree saddle. I have been using one for 3 years now and love it!
It’s been a great addition
Thanks for sharing everything from home packing to getting out there a getting set up! Looking forward to seeing how this plays out!!!
I agree like seeing everything from packing to packing out! I'm the same doing solo stuff is great.
I’ll make sure I do that every video series I film
Love the vlog style hunts keep them coming! That cow had no idea you were there I got to get me one of those saddles to Hunt in! Awesome video!
Thanks again EC!
Great video, love the getting ready part and setting up camp. The hunt is always more than the kill it's all the prep work that goes into each hunt.
Glad you enjoy it all
Definitely the most anticipated hint of the year!! Love seeing it on IG, but to see the whole story is epic!! Hope you’re feeling better EC!
Glad you’re here. I’m feeling better already 👊🏻🇺🇸
I agree, I love the videos from the pack up to the pack out!
Let’s do it 👊🏻 I’ll keep them coming.

Exactly, I usually have more than I need but with a truck and shell I have the space. Make sure you come back Thursday
Sweet hunt Eric! You’ve been motivating me to hunt harder and smarter since I was 15 and saw the fire bull hunt. Keep up the great work man!
Let’s work hard Rex, season only lasts so long 👊🏻
Finally An Eric Video! watched it as soon as it was uploaded! cant wait to see how it plays out!
You’ll love Thursday’s video 👊🏻
Your the man E!!! Good luck Brotha!!! Can’t wait til the next release in this series!!💪🏽
Solo series with Eric are the best. The others are good as well.
Really enjoy when you guys show from beg to end from at the house packing and loading up till packing out also love it keep them coming!
Ever thought about putting a pulley system in that carport so you could keep that tent up and just lower into the cart?
Never thought of that 🤔
Looking forward to the rest of this hunt as it unfolds.stay safe and healthy
Definitely prefer the longer videos that show everything. Can’t wait for the rest of the series!
That’s what’s up Jose, thanks for watching everything 👊🏻

Keep after them, it’ll pay off. The saddle would be killer up there in all that timber. Just gotta be patient!
Incredible video, can't wait to see how the hunt will play out. Been waiting all year for your solo Elk hunt.
You’re gonna love Thursday’s video 👊🏻
I enjoy the vids especially the camp scenes
I’ll have to do more of those
Doing stuff on your own. You get such a good feeling of accomplishment you build confidence in your ability
Love it. Now I got to pull out the bow and shoot, visualize being in da wood. Guess I have store it away yet for the winter.
Good idea. Shoot when you can
Hats off to hunting from a tree saddle. As a lineman Im still not sold on a tree saddle. Not sure why, maybe just because I spend enough time on my hooks hanging from poles that I don't wanna be doing on my off time.
Don’t blame ya 😂

Sure does, got to have some alone time doing what I love!
What, no way Eric rocks climbing trees and saddle hunting for elk! That's too awesome.
Oh you just wait for Thursday’s video 👊🏻💯
I've been waiting for this hunt of yours!!!!
Jumping jack tent looks pretty cool I have one of those Bi mart trailers I could use and put the tent in that . Don't know for sure if it will fit Its 8 foot by 4 foot
LET’S GOOOO!!!
Same :)
I love watching solo Eric hunts
I remember saying years ago how beneficial the saddle would be in the elk woods, STOKED to see it
It’s going down! Stay tuned Thursday
Your Solo Hunts are my favorites.
Çause I can relate best to them.
Can I go with you next year haha!! Awesome video exited to see the next one like the vlog hunt style everything from start to finish
How high would you suggest doing a stand minimum? How high was your saddle?
I was 5 climbing sticks up so maybe 20-25ft
@@gethushin I got my LE bull this year first bull with a bow found him sleeping and took a 58 yard shot to find myself a 310 bull. I ask about the stand as I'm very new to it, but am going to start it this coming year as to utah early elk makes sense.
What boots do you wear and Socks do you prefer .Happy hunting
Been using Hanwag all season. The tall all leather ones. I have a variety of socks.
@@gethushin thank you good luck be safe
Way to keep us hanging. Can't wait for the next video.
Thursday 👊🏻💯
The older you get, the tougher all that gets
I’ve been experimenting with using ATV … use it to get to and from hunting spot. Makes a world of difference.
I just bought the Tethrd saddle this fall. I love it. Did you use a platform, or just the screw in steps? Hope you get one from the saddle!!
Platform is life 👊🏻
Try putting your GoPro on your belt. I attach mine to my hip facing the target when I shoot my bow. It's way better than the hat.
Hmm, I’ll have to try that. How to you attach it?
Aha, belt…
@@gethushin I use the same alligator clip for the hat, I just have to turn the camera around so the back of the GoPro is against the clip. Than I just clip it on my belt or backpack strap. It might be worth a try.
Great video! I always worry about leaving my stuff behind when I’m on the hunt, especially my ATV…. I also solo hunt a lot. You ever have that worry?
How high up the tree where you?
Hmm maybe 20 ish feet up. 5 climbing stick
@@gethushin Thanks man, want to give it a try in NZ. Just been walking and stalking the reds with good success, but would love to try this during the Roar (Rut) 😊
Awesome video, looks like good times!
nice job. I like the new camera. good luck on the hunt. have you sat in the fire bull meadow since the fire bull?
No, that’s in a unit that took me 11 years to draw. I wish…
Awesome job self filming Eric
Thanks Jeff!
Curious as to which states allow screwing into a live tree or trimming a live tree? I hunt IL and WI and can't do that on public land.
Going on my first elk hunt with my own tag this year in Wyoming. I went with my dad without a tag last year to be with him but we didn’t have any success. What size cooler will a whole deboned elk fit in? I’ve read a 200 quart cooler should work. Any help would be much appreciated!
Eric what climbing sticks are you using and what platform?
Timber ninja sticks snd the Tethrd brand platform 👊🏻
Eric are those the factory straps that come on steps? and are yours the aluminum steps or carbon?
Why did you switch to Hangwa boots? What was wrong with Crispi boots?
Buy what fits your foot & works best when it comes to boots - never by brand.....
Gotta be cautious with Aspen trees. Super shallow rooted!
i understand its an old vid the tent you stuck on the trailer what is the name of them im looking just for the tent part of the trailer to custom build me a rack for it
You're the best RUclipsr
That tent is crazy!
Works like a charm!
I have a older Zimmen 4wheeler trailer 8x8 probably be better for the jumping jack tent
How high up are you in the tree?
I'm serious about hunting and also prefer to hunt alone. Nothing against B Mac and Casey, love to watch them too, but I always have higher hopes on your videos that we'll see some good hunting and less jacking around!
Haha people say I’m pretty serious when I’m out there. I’m definitely there to hunt 👊🏻
Why did you switch brands of boots?
Archery hunting is the best.
It just hits different huh?
I love this video!
Great content as usual.
Thanks man! Just a guy and his camera gear … and a bow 👊🏻
That’s killer!!
I enjoy your Solo hunting.
I love solo archery.
It’s the challenge for me 👊🏻
Is Eric An offspring of Les Stroud? “Survivor Man”
Got My first kill from a saddle this season(a month after buying it). Stud of an 8 pt whitetail
Oh heck yeah, nice work 👊🏻
always wondered who was the one camped off the side of the road there 😂
This year I really wanted to get my buck by my self and I did it is such a great feeling
Nice work 👏🏻
hello my name is tyrien and you should come down to sk sksatoon Canada by bigger sk canada elk wildlife
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Practice my brother
Did Eric skip leg day
Obviously not 😂
nice calves dude 🤣
BBD!
IYKYK 🤫
Home boy can’t back up a trailer.
Lol why would you even say that? I’m must say, I’m pretty dang good!
If only you had ears to hold up your hat with the gopro on!
If you want to tailor your vids to the 2% of people that half no life, great but the rest of us fast forward to the hunting!
No worries, that’s in there as well.
Never wanted to watch elk hunting from a tree stand, pretty boring
You drink Dasani?! I'm done with this channel.
Whoa, why? You know something we don’t?
Eric needs to branch away from hush, at least for videos.. Most hush videos now are just Casey’s heavy breathing, kids and Logan being annoying. Not worth a watch anymore
