Happy Sunday ya'll....today's video is the culmination of a 5 day hunt with the winner of the Ultimate Elk Hunt Giveaway, Adam. He and his dad, Dean drove all the way out from New York and have worked really hard the past 4 days searching for a mature bull. Like many hunts, we've dealt with some weather and challenges but we have the entire team working to find Adam a bull he'd be happy with. We divided our resources the past 3 days splitting up in to multiple groups to increase our odds of finding a good bull by covering lots of country. Casey, Eric and Bmack found what looked like a good bull on the evening of day 3 and on day 4, Eric and Bmack did some exploring to determine how to get back to this area. As it has turned out, this became our plan A heading into the last day. Wish Adam luck as we find ourselves in another 4th & 10 situation! Adam just got the FULL elk hunting experience!! 5 full days of elk hunting, with a ton of elk, a great group of guys to help and support, AND a punched tag on a great bull! I'd be lying if I wasn't getting stressed just watching this one. Thanks for sharing this hunt and making me feel like I was right there with you!

I heard a sports announcer say about the Oklahoma State Cowboys, "there are no plays in the playbook for 3rd and 25, the Cowboys have plays for that." Reminded me of that, congratulations Adam.
Congratulations Adam. So thankful you were able to get back on the same bull 1) To redeem yourself. 2) Even though you all agreed that it was not a fatal hit, and it probably was not, but you truly never know and is in the back of your mind for awhile, usually until the next year. Or kill. Anyways great bull.
So stoked for Adam! He could've killed that bull the first hour on the first day and would have been happy I'm sure, but to get done in the fashion that he did, is by far the best. A hunt story he will be telling the rest of his life. Five days to finally get the opportunity and then hit low, gut wrenching. Anyone that has been in a similar situation knows that terrible feeling. Then to bounce back and get it done, the highest high. Awesome!

Man, when Adam was getting ready to kill the big 5, I was happy but sad he wouldn't get a shot at the bigger 5x6. AND THEN IT WALKED OUT IN FRONT OF HIM!!!!! You can't ask for a better memory! Heart dropped after the first shot but WAY TO STICK WITH IT!!!!!!! BBD!

Adam and Dean!! Amazing memories and I loved seeing you guys out there together. My first son is currently taking his hunters ed and im just sitting back dreaming about having experiences like this with him for years to come. It really warmed my heart to see you guys share this experience together.
And to my HUSH CREW! watching you guys work so hard to make this possible for someone you don't even know just out of love for your fellow sportsman and the sport itself... i just loved that so much! So stoked for Adam! He could've killed that bull the first hour on the first day and would have been happy I'm sure, but to get done in the fashion that he did, is by far the best. A hunt story he will be telling the rest of his life. Five days to finally get the opportunity and then hit low, gut wrenching. Anyone that has been in a similar situation knows that terrible feeling. Then to bounce back and get it done, the highest high. Awesome!
