- I couldn't find a tutorial on how to accomplish what I wanted with the Philharmonik 2 plugin. So I made this to share with anyone else struggling with it at first like I was.

Thank you so much! I'd been making do with using multiple instances of the plugin which obviously felt wrong, but couldn't figure out how to link it to MIDI like IK's site says you can do.

Thanks for this - it works also for Philharmonik 1.1 except the final step in routing each midi channel to a separate FL 20 mixer channel - everything goes to mixer slot 1. Like others I tried and failed using BRSO and Kontakt 6 samples, to do the same thing i.e. 1 plugin instance routing multi-instruments outputs to different midi ports and mixer channels. Shouldn't be this hard! Any suggestions appreciated!

This video was really helpful. Really appreciate the time you have saved everyone on this. Have a question as well, did you try using BRSO Articulate to switch the key switches from within FL Studio, even the direct sending of Keyswitch by a note on Piano roll is also not working. Any help would be much appreciated..Thanks again
I can do some testing tomorrow morning. Are you using the vst3 version? I remember there is one vst that doesn't allow multiple keys to work. Make sure you're using the right one and if you are and it still doesn't work I will try to figure it out.
@@dibpwnt Thanks for the quick reply. I am using VST3 version and mutiple key inputs work on the instrument playable keys but somehow the Keyswitch triggers are not going through. Will wait to hear from you if you figure it out.. Thanks again !
@@algorhythmix I was able to find time to play with it today. So, it seems to work but you have to find the note that corresponds with the articulation switch in the piano roll and be sure to set it to the articulation before the next note hits. Does that make sense?
@@dibpwnt Hi , thanks a lot for taking the effort to figure this out ! In the meanwhile I was able to figure out an alternative approach . I used Sample Tank 4 to load Miroslav and then it worked with BRSO as well [i.e. from FL Studio load Sample Tank and in sample tank load Miroslav ], which makes it much easier to switch articulation instead of doing through Piano roll, hope this helps you as well. Thanks again buddy !

It's a real pain that FL doesn't recognize MIDI channel changes from your MIDI controller.
Can you play chords from your Midi Outs? I did this but I can only play one note at a time from my Midi Outs. From the main Philharmonik VST I can play chords and notes overlapping each other, though.
Basileus, yes. There is a problem with the VST3 version of the plugin. You need to load the regular vst instead. IK still hasn't fixed this issue with their plugin. I hope this helps. :)
Ya I uncombined the two and unchecked the VST3 and now it works. Thanks for all your help and the video:)

This worked for me, but when I save the project and try to open it, it hangs and crashes instantly.
Did you make the melody in the background? If so, I'd appreciate it if you could break it down if possible

ay man this seems super random and idk if you’ll be able to help but i’m having issues downloading philharmonik into fl studio. i’m stuck on the specific download process because it tells me i need to download sample tank 3 and all this other stuff.
Does this save CPU compared to opening more than one instance?
Hmmm I can't say for certain but I imagine it does. Even if it's just marginally so.

I tried it and when I play it on my piano, sometimes the second note I press does not play...I don't understand what it is
Avoid the vst3 version. Use the regular one. There is an issue with the vst3.
@@dibpwnt Thanks man. I found out how to use it correctly but what bothers me now is that the solo violin can't sustain the note indefinitely lol. I use other plugins for that

can’t even get this VST to show its instrument library. SOS
I keep getting an error on my install... So I can only use phil when I play thru sampletank... What am I doing wrong?
Install on fl? Have you tried reloading the plugin in the manage plugins section?

Hi! It worked but i have one tiny problem. Do you have an idea why i can only play one note at a time when the midi out is active?
This is most likely due to using the vst3 version. Make sure you're using just the vst one. The vst3 has been known to not work correctly with multiple voices.

@Kevin It's the regular vst of Philharmonik. You'll find it in your plugin manager list. Just add it to your favorites and you'll never choose the wrong one again.

What your pc specs and whats the CPU reading on this one when in use?
Decent cpu and 16gb of ram. Not sure of the reading when I play it. But it's not too intense.

I dont believe so but I'm really not too sure. I just took a look to see if i could find anything to let you change it but didn't locate anything to let you manipulate the samples that way.
