Tom Brady is 45, he's looked after himself and is in great shape, but over here(UK/Ireland)there are no 45 year players in the premier league. There are no 45 year old players in the lower leagues even. Right now theres so much talk about Christiano Ronaldo being washed up, not the player he used to be, he's on the wane etc.............at 37!! There is an unspoken thing over here that if a player is over 30, that kind of nonsense talk will start, even though there has been dip in performance. Its insane really, but in the NFL the attitude seems to be, if he can do the job on the field, he gets to play, if he cant, well done his time is up. And thats a fair approach.
The most important thing is that he looks to be over the divorce. Now Gisele isn’t pulling him back he could win number 8. Crazy, I know, but this is Tom Brady. Even at 45 when you add in the intangibles (especially leadership) he’s still the greatest current player (he’s obviously the GOAT but I’m talking current).
