Im watching this lady in 2020. I came across her by accident. Shes same age as me & I could connect when she had to say bye to her daughter going to college. Ree has done well for herself & she makes me feel comforted. I lost my mum two years ago & in one programme she made a casserole with dumplings saying its great comfort food. My mum used to make a yummy stewpot with massive dumplings. Never had that dish for years as my mum had dementia from 2010. Thank you Ree for reminding me of cosy times with my mum

My grandparents were born and raised in the country, on farms, eating fried foods, butter, etc and lived long healthy lives. in fact my grandfather just celebrated his 94th birthday last month. He always grew the biggest and best gardens and would pick fresh veggies almost daily during the summer for that evenings meal.

Hi Ree, I am an adoring devoted Fan, I was looking for your video of the cinnamon rolls you make. I do have your cook books but wanted to see it again as you did make them in an episode of your show years ago. So glad to know that you are also on You Tube. Haven't found the Rolls recipe yet but still clicking away! Love your family and all that you do!

This is a very late reply, but wanted to ask if you still needed the recipe? If so, it’s featured in the episode called “Christmas” (S01E07, if you have the Discovery app).

bitterness and jealous? common side effect from modernization... Pioneer woman looks like she cooks more down to earth, homemade and has more grace (at least on TV) than most American women. Even if she does have money, she is bringing this valuable info to the rest of viewers. Be Grateful, you mind learn a thing or two.

Hey Girls -- I just recently came across Ree and her writings and am enjoying them all. She is telling her own life-story with humor :0) If us big girls will ignore and not comment on the bratty bully girls with their panties in a twist, then maybe they'll leave and seek out other victims

@lockness7777 no, it isn't. However it looked as though she was driving around on their property - which from what little I know, the size is substantial - and that's perfectly legal to not use seatbelts. I'm a stickler for mine but if I'm off cruising the family property I don't bother with it. You can clearly see that they've stopped by some cattle to walk around.

I liked checking out The Pioneer Woman blog, sometimes, and browsing her recipes. I thought she was pretty entertaining and funny and many of her recipes looked good. I haven't checked it out lately...I wouldn't call myself a "mindless follower". I like everyone from Ina Garten to Paula Deen (Ina's my favorite). I didn't realize that when I was casually browsing Drummond's blog, enjoying her posts, that I was some brainwashed fan. I just thought I was visiting a food blog.

and why is that bad? most of America has increased with disease and anger due to modernization and processed foods and lifestyle. We need more of her lifestyle back, home gardens and making food from scratch. read more Dr. Weston Price' research and you will see what he found comparing primitive tribes to modern ones.

Why can't her sons help her with the laundry and help bake the cake? It's not a woman's job to be the homemaker any more, though she can certainly do so if she wants to. But, give your sons the same opportunities as their sisters.
