I know we're all on baby watch and I have suspicions that baby has arrived (due to the timelines of the videos) but please don't pressure them into sharing the news before they are ready. We are all excited to see the new little one but in the right way and with complete respect for them and their families. Most of us are moms and those first few weeks are so special.
I know I'm not the only one thinking a bundle of joy has most likely arrived. And that Becky has thought ahead and recorded extra videos to get us through till she feels well enough to make new ones . I am so excited about baby! My grandbaby was due at the same time Jessica @ThreeRiversHomestead and you were due. Tessa, my granddaughter, was born at 27 weeks. She is home and doing really well. Jessica posted that baby Hannah was born early this morning. Now we are waiting on baby @acrehomestead! Praying for a safe delivery and happy little family!
My favorite "hack" for homemade cinnamon rolls is pouring about 1/2 cup of heavy cream over them right before you put them in the oven. They become sooo ooey gooey and soooo delicious! Highly recommend 👌

OMG!!! I just made the cinnamon rolls!! So amazing and EASY! If anyones curious I halved the recipe and it made 6 perfect cinnamon rolls with no problem. We can never finish a full pan so this is a game changer. Thank you Becky!!
Our son ( who was a restaurant manager for years) told us to never judge a restaurant by the food you get on a holiday! They are usually not at their best. Besides being really busy the cooks and servers would rather be home with their own families. Maybe give your Chinese restaurant one more chance

I use melted butter when making cinnamon rolls because then the brown sugar absorbs it & it doesn't all just melt out into the bottom of the pan. So it goes: melted butter, brown sugar, then cinnamon. Sometimes I use half white sugar if there's not enough brown sugar, & that works too.

@@jeslovesjesus It depends on the size of the rectangle of dough... and sometimes that varies because it raised really well due to fresh yeast or warm kitchen temperature, or if you double a recipe. I use the Sweet Dough recipe from the old 1950 Betty Crocker Picture Cookbook, but I don't really measure the fillings --- I just sort of eyeball it & go, "Ok, that looks like enough."
@ 😂😂 same. But I eyeballed it last night and it wasn’t enough at all. I needed more cinnamon and more filling in general. They basically just tasted like mildly sweet dinner rolls. 🤭
This is called Pasta Amatriciana in Italy (minus the cream) and pecorino cheese is used instead of parmigiana. Italian recipe uses guanciale (smoked cured pork cheek) but a good quality bacon or pancetta works great too! Your dinner looked fabulous and reminded me I havent made this pasta dish in a long time. I've now made 4 batches of these cinnamon rolls. They are so easy and delicious! I made one batch vegan by using vegan butter, organic sugars, and soy milk. They were just as amazing! Everyone loves them!

My hubby jokes that we are so much alike bc I too can be a bit clumsy 😂 but more than anything it is the fact that I’m such a foodie and love to see my family and friends enjoy the food that I make. **Quick tip btw- be careful about the steam when pouring your freeze dried/dehydrated cheese/ingredients directly into your hot pot. After all the effort to dry/preserve your products I’d hate for them to be compromised bc of a little moisture from the steam. I feel as if we are awaiting the new picture of the baby. This video is the day after Thanksgiving as Becky says. She had a prior video at 38 weeks pregnant prepping for the hospital. So, the baby is here! It's like when Lucy had little Ricky on I Love Lucy.
We make Tomato gravy and noodles which the roux is make with bacon grease. It's an acquired taste for most. Didn't find out till I was older but it is "poor people" food. Still a huge part of my happy memories.

Cinnamon buns freeze well for a quick breakfast. I bet Josh would enjoy that for something different as a grab and go. I always make up several pie crusts to have in the freezer. Grab a jar or package of apple pie filling, crust from the freezer, voila, a delicious fresh apple pie for my hubby...his favorite.
I always look at the pictures and you can tell....the apron, thick sweater, etc. And in mu minds eye I only see her...comfortable not with her kitchen gear on. But believe wholeheartedly that baby is here!!

Try using you pumpkin purée in you rolls (so instead of cinnamon and sugar you use pumpkin puree) there are videos on that.. but gf love love love you… over night dough is also the best

I’m confused about how to make the cinnamon rolls that she made in this video because she didn’t really list how much of each ingredient. When I look at the recipe for the rolls, there is way more butter in the cinnamon rolls that she just made versus the 2 tablespoons in the recipe I think. I want to make them so bad.
@@peepsventura542 I just made the rolls recipe as it was. Spread a couple tbs of softened butter all over. Used about 2/3c of brown sugar with 2tbs of cinnamon for the filling. Turned out great!

I use melted butter when making cinnamon rolls because then the brown sugar absorbs it & it doesn't all just melt out into the bottom of the pan. So it goes: melted butter, brown sugar, then cinnamon. Sometimes I use half white sugar if there's not enough brown sugar, & that works too.
Great with a bit of cocoa powder too for a change

@@jeslovesjesus It depends on the size of the rectangle of dough... and sometimes that varies because it raised really well due to fresh yeast or warm kitchen temperature, or if you double a recipe. I use the Sweet Dough recipe from the old 1950 Betty Crocker Picture Cookbook, but I don't really measure the fillings --- I just sort of eyeball it & go, "Ok, that looks like enough."
@ 😂😂 same. But I eyeballed it last night and it wasn’t enough at all. I needed more cinnamon and more filling in general. They basically just tasted like mildly sweet dinner rolls. 🤭
This is called Pasta Amatriciana in Italy (minus the cream) and pecorino cheese is used instead of parmigiana. Italian recipe uses guanciale (smoked cured pork cheek) but a good quality bacon or pancetta works great too! Your dinner looked fabulous and reminded me I havent made this pasta dish in a long time. I've now made 4 batches of these cinnamon rolls. They are so easy and delicious! I made one batch vegan by using vegan butter, organic sugars, and soy milk. They were just as amazing! Everyone loves them!

**Quick tip btw- be careful about the steam when pouring your freeze dried/dehydrated cheese/ingredients directly into your hot pot. After all the effort to dry/preserve your products I’d hate for them to be compromised bc of a little moisture from the steam.

I’m pretty dang sure Becky has had the baby by now. But what do I know? Our first baby came twelve days past my due date! That baby is now 39 years old! The first baby is such a big change in a young couple’s life but I believe that Becky has what it takes.

Does anyone else get a pavlov's dog response watching anything that Becky cooks? She has my exact same taste palette and everything she cooks is something I'd definitely like to eat. I feel as if we are awaiting the new picture of the baby. This video is the day after Thanksgiving as Becky says. She had a prior video at 38 weeks pregnant prepping for the hospital. So, the baby is here! It's like when Lucy had little Ricky on I Love Lucy.
Bexky, I mix soft butter with cinnamon and nutmeg with brown sugar to spread over the dough. Then put some on the bottom of the pan to give a sauce.

We make Tomato gravy and noodles which the roux is make with bacon grease. It's an acquired taste for most. Didn't find out till I was older but it is "poor people" food. Still a huge part of my happy memories.

Cinnamon buns freeze well for a quick breakfast. I bet Josh would enjoy that for something different as a grab and go. I always make up several pie crusts to have in the freezer. Grab a jar or package of apple pie filling, crust from the freezer, voila, a delicious fresh apple pie for my hubby...his favorite.

Try using you pumpkin purée in you rolls (so instead of cinnamon and sugar you use pumpkin puree) there are videos on that.. but gf love love love you… over night dough is also the best

I’m confused about how to make the cinnamon rolls that she made in this video because she didn’t really list how much of each ingredient. When I look at the recipe for the rolls, there is way more butter in the cinnamon rolls that she just made versus the 2 tablespoons in the recipe I think. I want to make them so bad.
@@peepsventura542 I just made the rolls recipe as it was. Spread a couple tbs of softened butter all over. Used about 2/3c of brown sugar with 2tbs of cinnamon for the filling. Turned out great!
