jonnybaze Yes. Smoking doesn’t just cause lung cancer. They can cause other cancers as well, including colon cancer. Best to just not pick up the habit in the first place.

I've seen kids pull out vapes in class behind the teacher's back, and I've tended to temporarily stop them by informing them of my chronic asthma and the dangers of second-hand smoking. What if I start a vape-awareness club? The Virginia Vaping-Awareness Club? The VA V-AC....

I’m twelve and this stuff is super popular at my school(at least when I wasn’t quarantined it was🤦🏻♀️) I’d like to educate myself on the dangers and the harm of it and tell myself that they are supposed to be used for recovering cigarette smokers, not for pleasure so I don’t get pressured into doing something dumb and potentially fatal. I’m trying to build up my will power lol.
don't worry about them, just whatever you do don't do it. it may ruin your life. Back in the 50s and 60s people thought smoking was healthy and no problems, that was proven wrong and now all those people have lung cancer or are dead. vaping has only been around for a few years, just wait like 20 more years until the dangers of it are proven better.

I will tell you first hand, that you can get addicted to anything with a high amount of nic salts. Because I’m so dependent on it myself. I suggest if you aren’t addicted don’t pick it up. It is so hard to quit and I have noticeable changes in my lungs because of it
Remember, just because vaping is better than smoking, it doesn’t mean you can vape all you want and you won’t get hurt. ANYTHING can damage your body in any way and you will never know what your doing is wrong. So if you vape or smoke, stop. Or else you will face serious consequences...
You’d think this would be so obvious, yet there are still people who think that vaping doesn’t do anything to your body. We don’t know the long-term effects because it’s such a new thing. Plus, like the video said, the cartridges aren’t regulated, so we don’t know what’s in them.
You can’t expect about a decade, or even a few years of a trend to immediately be associated with health problems. People are always so focused on short-term effects and have no concept of long-term consequences. Just because you’ve been vaping for a couple of years or so and don’t have any health effects doesn’t mean that if you continue, you won’t have any health issues. Let’s see 20 years down the line.

I have been smoking for over 30 years. I have switched to vaping. I plan on reducing my nicotine until I'm on 0, then quit altogether. Don't agree with kids vaping, but I believe vaping is great for those who are already killing themselves with cigarettes.

Look, while my reasons are mine. I consume for the buzz but yet I am not addicted. My stress levels drop to 0 when I inhale and school can suddenly seem manageable because of the other factors of school which are wiped away for the moment and help me focus at the task at hand.

@@cfroi08 It's really not, Nicotine is Nicotine. Once it gets it's hooks in you you're addicted, permanently. Even if you quit. It'll always be there, waiting for you to slip up, and when you do it will be just as hard to quit again.

I started smoking at 12. Addicted by 13. Don’t think I can stop. It’s as much a part of my life as the air I breath. Tried everything to quit. If I get ran over by a bus, it won’t have mattered if I smoked or not. I enjoy my cigarettes sometimes. What does the formaldehyde do to a body? How much formaldehyde? Where else are these trace chemicals found besides cigarettes? Is the government using this for population control?

The problem is with those huge vape mods and people trying to up the power to get more vape. They have to stop that. Teens should certainly not use them. I trust vapes for FORMER smokers only. No need to vape if you have never smoked. I quit a 30 plus year smoking habit with vapes and I only use the simple one. I would like the vape manufacturers to find a way to remove more toxic chemicals from the device and the liquids. Their future depends on it.

The carcinogens present in myblu or juul pods are about 99% less than in a conventional cigarettes... Youd need hundreds of days of vaping to match 1 day of cigarette smoking, on average, in order to match the same level of carcinogens entering your body
