I've got this air rifle, mine has a wider barrel tho, it's a lovely bit of kit, little vaseline helps on the seal, need a video of how to replace the o rings
hi John love the videos, you may be just the man, I have a webley patriot .22, its an old gun well used but still accurate and I believe powerful, its good for small game to 40 yards in my experience. but the gun is very harsh to fire and doesn't seen to have much accuracy beyond 40 yds, the gun absolutely shakes itself to death, the scope is always moving and needs to be monitored at all times. I have a small machine shop and fairly good equipment. so far I tried using an aluminum weight instead of the steel one on the top of the spring but honestly its hard to say if I improved things or not! do you have any pointers? I made a safe clampy system for removing the spring so disassembly is quite alright.
Anthony, do you have access to a chronograph?, just asking as I believe your rifle is overpowered. Perhaps a detune would render it just as accurate and capable of dispatching quarry at 40 yds. And much sweeter to shoot.
@@Villageboyairguns you could indeed be right, i may try a weaker spring for this and try get hold of a chronograph! thanks very much for the speedy reply! keep up the good work!
@@anthonyconlon8609 a quick search suggests that it’s quite rare to come across a 12 ft/lbs version of the Patriot. I’ll be interested to hear any progress reports about your gun, as and when.🤔👍
@@Villageboyairguns its for sure more than that, youve to be in full health to compress the spring! I was considering lightening the piston assembly because its really heavy but then again this is by design
Awesome trick! Thanks sir, that's useful. Straight to the point and zero nonsense involved.
Stuffed the hollow stock, and it works fantastic! Thanks!
Glad you appreciate the benefit from this simple, cheap modification. And thanks for the comment.😉
I like your videos. Have you any info on how to adjust a Webley Eagle trigger? Thanks in advance
Sorry my friend but I have had no experience with that model. 🤔

i stuffed an old shirt in mine well half of at least made a hell of a difference to the noise
As long as it works, anything like that will do. Definitely quietens things up, or has my hearing got worse ?
Would wood shavings work..
@@marklewisham3088 I can’t see why it shouldn’t, try it, it would be easy to remove if not successful.
