Jaime’s character had a lot more to give. But this show is a reflection of real life and sometimes our favorite people get taken out. This shows how good the series is because I felt like I really lost my homie

As soon as Jamie was made to choose about the Kit situation he was as good as dead. If he didn't kill Kit then Dushane wouldn't see him as loyal and have Jamie killed. If he did kill Kit then Sully would kill him as now Jamie is a threat, if he can kill his best friend, what's to stop him from killing Sully or Dushane.
Basically this was the end for Jamie, he couldn't win, he was always going to die from either Dushane or Sully.
That's why he told Kit were both fucked
Would Dushane really kill his ‘retirement plan’ because he won’t pack his best friend? Jaq wasn’t willing to give up her sister, he didn’t kill her and what Jaq’s sister did was just as bad if not worse. All Jamie really had to say was “I can’t do that he’s family”.
Either that or grip and ride. Fighting the problem together is better than betraying the homies.

Nah if Jamie would’ve asked Dushane to his face infront of Sully in the cafe, if he would kill Sully if he made a mistake, that would be a big statement.
The show really depicts how hard it is for young men in the hood. Stef, especially Aaron was focused on school and other things but after seeing their brother die in front of them they can easily loose everything they worked hard for to get in the game to get revenge on their brother which nobody can blame them for.
it would be awesome if they got revenge, especially if it is going to be Stef who takes the revenge

Jamie a legend man. The emotion in his acting and all the scenes he was in were so touching. And Hate to see the young guy go. OGs always trynna fuck up the youngins instead guiding em. Got him killin his friend then killin him off. And havin so many kids involved most getting killed or hurt anyway . Jus messed up but very realistic

He got what he deserved, he weren't loyal and got smoked for his mistakes. Typical "youngins" makin moves too fast to see what other options there are. Jamie got what he deserved, trynna snake Dushane on the spain/Morocco contact and then lie bout it. I see nothing wrong with Sullys move on him. He got what he deserved. Dushane gave him second chance but the ZTs TopBoy weren´t too smart about his moves.

Whole season we saw Stef balancing on a beam between good and bad. Just when it felt like Steph strayed from the path of good Jamie was able to keep him safe and redirect him away from the corrupt lifestyle. The joker said it in the Dark Knight: Madness is like gravity , all it takes is a little push. Jamie's death is what's going to shove Steph over the edge, entering the Topboy world.

People are giving sully more credit then he deserves for the reasons he killed Jamie. I think he did it to spite Dushane. Sully has always had a problem with Dushane not treating him as an equal since summerhouse. When Dushane told sully that he planned for Jamie to be their retirement plan , despite how sully felt about Jamie and Dushane not discusssing this with him, I think sully realised that Dushane will never see him as an equal and that Dushane is to self centered to take into account any of sullys opinions and thoughts, and that is what drove him to kill Jamie. I think that sully decided to do what he believed is right for him, just as Dushane has always done for himself.

Bro this to me is more realistic. Jamie killing his mate is just a stupid reason for Sully to kill him - the no loyalty shit people saying. Think of it in season 3 sully killed Dris and they were mates. Dris had to die for what he did and so did Kit. I think Sullys motive will be explored in the next season as well as his consequences.

Big up Michael Ward! Jamie was such a well written character. Had fans even choosing sides between Summerhouse and ZT’s third season. Hopefully we can see shades of Jamie in his new roles in upcoming movies and shows. RIP Jamie
The conversation with Jamie & Stef hits different knowing what he did to kits
I said earlier in the season when Dushane showed up at Jaime's apartment, that Jaime was lacking. He walked to the door, didn't check to see who was there, just opened it... I feel like that scene kind of foreshadowed the final scene. Again, approaching the door, no gun in hand, not checking to see who is there first... just little things that anyone in the game would not do.
For sure, we saw Jaq point a gun at Lauren cuz of her readiness an episode or two before that. Hats off for seeing that

I don't think people realise that Leyton played a huge part in the death of Jamie. I think that Sully still hated Jamie because of the episode where Leyton shot at Sully, while Sully was at Jason's funeral. But the thing is, that Jamie didn't want Leyton to shoot Sully which Sully of course doesn't know.

Dushane didn't have no brothers to take care of, not entirely the same situation. Also I'm pretty sure killing Dushane would've only increased Sully already high desire to kill Jaime, so he'd probably just end up in the same situation.

When Jamie’s brother screamed his name after he saw what happened. That damn near made me cry. Solid acting Jamie could’ve had some much and a whole lot more if he would’ve let go of his hate for Dushane. Which is ironic. He was the one preaching to his brother about not letting His hate for Ats consume him. If Jamie would’ve just been patient he could’ve had everything. It’s easier said than done. But then again Dushane was nobody to Jamie. They weren’t friends, they weren’t from the same neighborhood, they had no connection to each other before their beef. He could’ve waited for that day for Dushane to retire. Dushane was already preparing to leave the business to Jamie. And Dushane is already on his last. He’s ready to leave. So it wouldn’t be before Jamie would’ve had the crown. I say 3-5 years he would’ve got what he wanted. Too bad tho. Great show!

So many people saying Sully / and Dushane need to go after what happened, clearly they haven't watched summerhouse. The story was always about summerhouse, Jamie started the war and he died from the consequences of it. Sully and Dushane warned him, his fault.

Love the foreshadowing but the irony of Jamie's advice to Stef. Jamie mentions that if Kit were to get into trouble, he'd be there for him because Kit would be there for Jamie. Yet when shit hit the fan (Kit head manning the death of Ats), Jamie couldn't follow his own advice to Stef.
I think he changed his perception based on the conversation in Morocco with the dealer who also killed his best friend. In the end he realized that his brothers safety was more important than anything
I think next season will see the start of the f with dushane and sully, and start to see stef learn the way of the streets and fend for himself, his actions will get him in trouble and the final act of him becoming fully road will be Aaron being killed so he’s left with legit no one - maybe jaq to mentor him

Dushane sees Jamie as his retirement plan. Sully doesn’t trust him. Dushane tried to make Sully see Jamie’s loyalty by getting him to kill Kit. Sully saw the red flags tho. Jamie killed kit, meaning in Dushanes head it’s business as usual. But Jamie knows Sully doesn’t trust him and vica versa. If Jamie didn’t die eventually he would’ve asked Dushane to do the same thing (kill his friend) for the sake of the business and absolutely fuck knows how that would’ve went. Point is the death was inevitable

They really dropped the ball by killing him. Might be to early to say but what the fans wanted was to see Jamie on top by the end of the show.

See that’s nice and all that but then the storyline would be unrealistic and boring. Some times ending like these are needed to provoke emotions from the viewers to show how real life sometimes is.
@@malachicooper2798 Besides, even if Jamie did survive (which is extremely unlikely), he got shot in the middle of his forehead at close range meaning, the bullet most likely severely damaged his frontal lobe which is the part of the brain that controls speech and movement so he would most likely have to relearn how to walk and talk.
