Shame I can’t like this comment twice… His portrayal of Sully is immense!
For me the most underrated actress in the series was Ats Mother.
She embodied the character so well. A lot of African women work as care workers or cleaners and they work so hard often 10-12 hours a day, for such little pay. They do their best to raise their children and put food on the table. It always feels like they are carrying the weight of the world on their shoulders.
Next time you see a lady similar to Ats Mother, whether on a bus or on the street, ask them how they are doing and try to make them smile.

It was weird because you would kind of start to think oh he's actually a decent guy when he would defend Lauren whenever his sister would talk shit, but then moments later you get reminded...Nah this is dude is a proper psycho manipulator!
Didn't raise his voice once, but still you could tell he was on smoke 24/7
Curtis reminded me of the character Trevor from the film Layer cake, menising Scouser.

I started watching Top Boy just because I had nothing else to do. I was instantly hooked!!! This show is beyond good. Thank goodness Drake loved this show soo much that he went to Netflix and got it back on the air.

I watch it 22 release then i didn't realise the summerhouse beginning so i watched it all over and then again . one of the best shows ever. I want more!!!
Words cannot describe. I was so stressed out AGAIN watching the story unfold. Jasmine is so beautiful and Jaq is such a strong but heartbreakingly beautiful character. I will miss **** but feel so lucky to have seen his work in TB as well as Small Axe: LR and cannot wait to see what he does in the future. Big love to Ashley, Kano, Ronan and all the awesome cast and crew xxx

Shot out to Top Boy cast! Y’all killed it and I hope this show goes on for a long time. It does a great job showing the Uk Drill scene and as an American that loves the New York and Chicago drill scenes this is amazing to watch. People are sleeping on what really happens in these estates in real life and this show does a great job showing the struggle

Easily my favourite series ever produced, hats off to all these amazing actors, Kano that plays sully is on a different level insane character and definitely mine and a lot of other peoples favourite 👏🏼

All of these actors play their roles so well. Jamie was always hungry & ambitious to be the top boy no matter what, Sully a level headed physco, Dushane a ruthless mob boss and Jaq was a loyal lieutenant. Sad to see Jamie gone but it makes sense because Sully is always a few steps ahead of everyone & couldn’t take any risks.
A rare show that actually gets better as it goes on. Series 4 was of the highest quality so far - international locations, looked like a high end movie at times. Hoping series 5 delivers as the epic ending it needs.

Grew up in Hackney. I worked in Dalston market as a teenager in the late 90's where the crew was dealing. Felt surreal. Professor Green wasn't included in the show but I remember him going to school near where I lived on Gladesmore Road. We bumped into each other years later at the Jump-Off when he was still doing battles.
