Seems quite "Jazzy". Very difficult to just get the basics down and getting the right hand and left foot into autopilot mode so that the snare can add its thing. Challenging lesson Joe!

Yep, it's pretty challenging. If you haven't done a fair bit of work on this type of hihat/ride pattern it's going to be challenging to play this groove. I'll have a go at doing a video demonstrating some technical preparation towards playing stuff like this :-D
