- This is part 7 of our fast electric RC boat build series today we installed the stuffing tube, Teflon liner, flex cable, stubshaft, strut & stuffing tube retainer into the Delta force 23. Almost done with the build almost done finally coming to an end, Hopefully our next video will be running the boat on the water. I'm aiming for 50 miles per hour with the Mini sniper..

Hi; can you tell me if the flex cable is positive or negative(I think since the propeller is rotating clockwise the flex cable shoud be negative?) thanks for the help.

I was hoping to see you physically cut the flex shaft and see how you soldered the end. I am about to do one as well but haven’t because I don’t want to ruin it.
Oh man I apologize. Here is a video of how I solder the flex. I just dip it into solder pull it, clean it and dip it again. This video I join a shaft to flex, same concept minus the shaft connection ruclips.net/video/dBLlaKNV9IU/видео.html. To cut flex I use a cutting wheel on a side grinder nice and slow, then round the end abit.

What strut are you using that has the grease fitting in it?
