But i wanted to ask if you can give some quick insight when you do certain things like setting the timing chain what you look for when setting timing or maybe how you do it. Im just throwing out some suggestions but the videos are really good and throwing some learning in there will really be a cherry on top. Keep it up man. Subbed for sure.

One CRUCIAL THING..IS TO TAP A STEEL HELICOIL OR TIMESERT INTO THE SRT 4 OR ANY 2.4 TIMING BELT TENSIONER.. AND YEAH YOU CAN USE COPPER(VERY IMPORTANT GET THE INSIDES TOO SPRAY ON THE GASKETS).. I GOT A BUILT JEEP LIBERTY IN THE gt cruiser.. with darroll cox mid motor mount with a dodge grand caravan transmission

Hey. I am sort of in the same process with my srt4 so thanks for the videos. What did you do to clean the engine deck surface? My deck is pretty dirty and I need to get the old material off of it. Any tips?
And did you seriously hone the cylinders with the pistons installed? LMAO! And paint the head gasket? What the F? You could have just just copper head gasket spray, that's made for what you're trying to acheive.
Probably did and then it blew up because he honed the engine with the bottom end in it, and never replaced the bearing or oil pump despite it being under water at some point in time. Total hack job this is why SRT4's have a bad reputation for being unreliable, because of hacks like him who throw these things together the wrong way in stead of spending the money to do it right.
What's the point? there's no money in a hotrodded Neon, which is exactly what it is. If the end goal is to fix and sell for profit, no way. I guess if you were gonna keep it...
That hood looks fantastic, top job. Can definitely see a difference with the new camera in both sound and vision! Keep 'em coming.

Usually, you'd use copper seal spray for a head gasket but I guess the guys at DCR know something we don't obviously.

Is the oil pick up pipe straight through with no gauze? Painting the head gasket also a first for me

watch the previous video on why only 1 cylinder was slightly cleaned...
The paint for DCR head gasket is what seals it. Its a 5 layer gasket. It needs it in order to seal.
When you are sailing thro the re build and you wonder why you have a can of paint left !!
