      If I can help one person its worth doing. Just did a complete fuse box rewire Fuse by fuse, You can tell by the comments it helped others. Its crazy the amount of time it takes to do these series. Five min. video takes a hour when all said and done. Well worth it it in the end. Thanks for sharing and viewing. Keep up the good work on your channel as well. Going to binge watch your channel here in a bit to get caught up.

      There are 2 different Speedos and wire kits. One is for the 4 speed manual. The other kit is autostick. K5 is the flasher light for the turn signals. Hope this answers your question.

    What about the 2-out black wiring that connects to the vibrator itself, need to know where the smaller female “spade” outlet connects too

      Female spade wire if I remember goes to a ground body tab located behind the speaker.

    My needle is bouncing . It has to be the spring. Cus the cable is brand new.

    • @Volkswagenplanet
      @Volkswagenplanet  5 лет назад +1

      I never had a spring go bad in the spedo, I have seen quite often the spedo cable fastener bolt not secured properly. I also can see why a spring could go bad also. Long use on a broken cable. Let me look it up in the Bently manual. You have a 73 super correct? Disk or drums brakes up front? Thanks for watching and commenting on a regular basis. If you need a video done or question I'm here to help. Your beetle is coming togther faster than mine. Keep up the good wiork. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and your beetle. Volkswagenplanet yeah a 73... thanks for your kind words. Your doing the electrical so man.... I’m so glad you are because it’s hard to find online. Or I’m too lazy to look online. I like the old school way of learning and you do a great job...

    why would you convert the mm to imperial?
    .5mm is .5mm.
    Just get the right wire and stop faffing around with converting to something that is sort of maybe a similar size.
    Everyone in the majority of the rest of teh world uses metric.

    • @Volkswagenplanet
      @Volkswagenplanet  2 года назад +1

      If you noticed in the wire diagram it's in mm. I just converted it to help those who would not ask questions. You would be surprised how many think a wire is just a wire. Thanks for commenting. Stay safe.

    • @wylah19168
      @wylah19168 2 года назад

      @@Volkswagenplanet a 5mm wire is a 5mm wire. Something converted from imperial to something similar to 5mm isn't.
      Just buy the correct wire and then you'll be fine.
      Americans going with near enough is good enough.
