Thank you for watching and commenting. This topic is and can be very frustrating. I have learned alot in the last few weeks about electrical. In the past I would just pay to have it fixed. Your comment is the reason I'm making this series. If this helps one person. Than it is worth it on my end. Tonight's video is on the turn signal switch. Stay tuned

Thanks for commenting on this video. Your 100 percent correct on length. It takes what it takes. I have learned alot from my hours at looking at these wiring diagrams. Most of all its boosted my confidence in electrical. I won't say I'm an expert, but I can almost say I at least know what I'm looking at. Thank you again personally for helping me get this far with the super beetle. I really think the only thing we were missing from starting the car up the day you came down here was the complete missing ignition switch wire harness. Tonights video is on turn signal harness. Try and stay dry. This weather is crazy all over the state. My short term goal to getting the car to turn over is July 13. Its about a month away. Its my Bday. Catch you on the next video

Volkswagenplanet I really wish we were closer.... I want to come down so bad but life got super busy, chaotic and insane at times. When I did have a little bit of down time I was too broke to do anything. I was hoping to already have the car done by now so you could zip around town with it. I’m sorry that it didn’t happen the way we thought, I feel like I let you down and I’m sorry for that.

@@VWJawbreaker Don't ever feel that way. We had no idea the harness was missing. We got alot done in a short time limit. Its hard to believe its been 3 months I think since that weekend. Life has been crazy. Family is always first. This is a hobby for me. You gave me the push I needed to keep going and not give up. We can always make time to work on the cars anytime. Family and personal health is always first. We will meet up again. Thats just what the VW COMMUNITY does. It will never come down to a few bucks for expenses. John I will check but I think i removed all the wiring from a 1972 super beetle 8 or 9 years ago. I get a chance I will check in my storage unit and see if i still have it ; when I remove the wiring i just put it all in a big trash bag...Let you know in case you could used some of it. traded it with another vw for the 64 bus we named Sarge. They were going to cut up the 72 and make some kit car from it told to take what ever electrical items I wanted so I did.

I recently had a short that fried the brown wire and I cannot determine where it goes. I trace it to a group of wires that go up and over the steering column. .
